Gator's Sports Bar & Grill

Just stopped in for lunch today, I ordered the Philly and a salad. The salad was excellent I enjoyed it a lot. The Philly however came with au jus?? (Which was tasty though) And looked much more like a regular steak sandwich. It did have bell peppers making me think it was supposed to be a Philly, but it didn't have Philly sauce, or provolone, it tasted like it had mozzarella, which was fine though honestly. Put it this way, if it was just a flat iron steak sandwich then it was pretty good! But if it was supposed to be a Philly cheesesteak, It was lacking. It didn't have that Philly taste, no sauce, the meat was just kinda dry. In terms of the service and the bar itself, I would definitely come back and have a few drinks on a Friday though and the servers were nice.

I was served my beer. Then the bartender never checked on us to see if we wanted another beer. She was talking to the other person at the bar totally ignoring us. We tab out and left. She didn't ask if we were hungry or offered to give us a menu.

Best local spot for a quick bite to eat. Diner type vibes, friendly service. Bar is big and has a great variety. There is a juke box, arcade games, pool tables, and lots of large tvs. They even have a designated pull tab area. One of our favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Brenton was the man !!! Such a fun guy, he made our visit so fun , great service . Food was awesome. Don't sleep in the breakfast either .

Stopped in after work for some appetizers & drinks. My first mistake; I, like 20% of the other patrons in the place, was wearing a baseball cap, representing our local baseball team. The waitress made an over exaggerated head jerk towards me, ensuring that I, a 33rd old, was not faking my ID. Yep, it's me.Moving on.We ordered drinks but didn't have time to decided on what food we wanted, so when she came back a second time for our order, I politely said we weren't ready yet. My second mistake. Now she would not return at all for our food order but instead sent someone else a whole 10 minutes later. The second waitress was a lot friendlier, we've seen her here a couple of other times. She took our order and refilled our drinks (the first waitress never came to check on us or refill our waters) After 40 minutes of waiting for our chicken wings & fried food that takes all but 5 minutes to fry, our food finally arrived. The chicken was dry and on the brink of burnt. There was absolutely no flavor what-so-ever. The sampler looked like the chef hates their job & threw the items on the plate. My partner was extremely upset & I did try to have some understanding... "maybe they're low on staff... maybe it was a shift switch." But I believe there is no excuse. The two men seated behind us, came in after us and got their food before us. I should have never worn that M's hat. Morning staff are much nicer and the food is always better.

The atmosphere was good the place was clean.The food was OK. We had hash browns potato'swhere over cooked.

Thrilled that they open at 6 a.m. for breakfast ( or 3rd shift Happy Hour crowd) food is always good and staff very nice.

Threw my food out while i was outside smoking. Didint even ask me if i was done or all finished and ready to go

We have been going to Gator's for about two years, beginning when we were forced to dine out during a five-month home renovation. As a result of that, were dined at Gator's 2-3 times a week, and it continues to be a "go-to" place for us, in spite of a recent episode.First off--With very few exceptions, we have found the food to be outstanding in taste, quantity and presentation. I could go down the menu item-by-item and review them all (yes, we've tried them all), but the bottom line is that you probably can't go wrong, regardless of what you choose to eat. Likewise, the service has been generally acceptable, with no issues worth mentioning.The Recent Episode--We were there for lunch on 1/19. As usual, the food was great and the service was just fine. I paid the $53.93 check with my debit card, and wrote "cash" on the tip line (I always tip in cash, and always with $2 bills). I left four $2 bills on the table with the signed check.I always keep my charge slips until such time as they clear my bank. Over the weekend, the $53.93 charge showed as "pending" (not uncommon for restaurant charges), but when it cleared, the charge had changed from $53.93 to $59.93, indicating that someone had decided that an additional six dollars probably wouldn't be noticed.My initial reaction was to share my experience on every social media site I could find as a warning to the general public and bring a veritable firestorm of negative publicity to the establishment. I resolved the issue with my bank without a problem and, after giving it a second thought, came to the conclusion that the venue should not be blamed for the issue that was, no doubt, caused by one misguided staff member.I called, asking for the owner, and left a message requesting him to call me, saying only that I had an issue I wished to discuss with him. I never received a call back, which is unfortunate.The Moral of the Story-- When paying with a debit or credit card, always keep your receipt until the charge appears on your account, and address any discrepancy immediately with your financial institution.

Came in for brunch with some friends, had to wait for 30 minutes to order food. Stephany ignored us for most of the time we were there. My friends were cut off after a few drinks and most of the staff ignored us. If there was a problem with us being there that should have been communicated. It felt extremely unprofessional. The food was incredible though.
