Garcia's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Great food, super friendly service!! We always enjoy eating here! Portions are huge so always enough for leftovers. Great flavors and the people working here really go out of their way to give you a great dining experience!!

Overall pretty okay. I wanted to grab some takeout for Rail Hop'n which means I prefer somewhere super close so I can throw it in my heat bag and eat it ASAP. Garcia's seemed close enough and they had a vegetarian menu so it seemed like a good bet. I ordered online and arrived shortly after I received a message that it was ready for pickup. I was greeted very promptly by a friendly gentleman who identified which order was mine and happily sent me on the way. I ordered a veggie burrito that came with all the standard fixings. It was packaged in a metal tray with a metal lined lid so it was mostly warm by the time I got into it. NO CUTLERY!!! How am I supposed to eat a burrito that has a lot of stuff on top of it without a fork?!?! Once again Rail Hop'n Shaun saved me from another business. I now always have full sets of cutlery and napkins in the car because this is just ridiculous. Overall flavours were pretty okay. My main thing was that it didn't keep the heat as well as I'd like (it was probably sitting there longer than I give it credit for), but it made for a tasty lunch the next day. Take out again? No. But I'd be willing to do dine in to see if it's any better.

Our first time trying this lovely Mexican restaurant. The food portions are large and very tasty. Everything came out piping hot, with delicious gooey cheese- even inside the chicken taquitos! Staff are very friendly. The decor inside is very antique. Would definitely come back!

Decent Americanized Mexican food. It was pretty busy when we were there and some larger groups (we were a group of three). In fairness we were still waiting on my sister and it seemed only two people were serving from what I could tell (we were in the booth directly across from the kitchen door). The food was good for what it was, the service was ok, they were friendly but took a min to take our order and our food. Not the best Mexican restaurant but it's ok. The food didn't blow me out of the water, probably not coming back.

Fast friendly service we are here visiting from Las Vegas. Let me tell you the food is fresh and seasoned just right. I had two yes two huge margaritas on the rocks. (It was a looong painful day ok). The carne asada burrito was loaded with meat and everything you can think of it was huge I couldn't finish it. But I will for breakfast. The chips were warm and fresh and the salsa was sooo good we got them both to go. I looked at the previous reviews and I was very skeptical going in. Pricey hey everything everywhere is pricey you pay for good food. And this is worth every penny. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love the food at Garcia's! It's always bursting with flavor and the service is awesome:) I like to try new things, but with being a vegetarian, sometimes it's hard. They always help me out with suggestions for (slight) substitutions that work out so well!!! Even when it's fairly busy it seems laid back, relaxed and I honestly NEVER feel under pressure to gobble my food down and get out(like some places act!). OohLaLa:)

The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was family friendly and welcoming for all ages. The food tasted great with big portions. I'd recommend for a good meal with good people.

Great little find! We stopped by after a visit nearby and were able to hit happy hour on a Monday. They had $6 lime margarita specials and $4.25 draft beer. Hubs had an ice cold brew. I opted not to imbibe, but I just might try one next time.Service was very efficient. We sat in the bar and it was a slow Monday, but the staff served everyone in the bar quickly. We quickly gobbled the chips & salsa. The salsa had a good kick and was quite addicting. We were offered more, but refrained.We opted to share chicken fajitas. The food came pretty quick, and was a generous portion of what you'd expect, chicken, onion and green pepper on a hot iron grill. It was accommpanied by a side of rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole & salad. The chicken was flavorful. We left "happy". Mission accomplished!

Came here like half an hour before they closed and they still welcomed me, my daughter and grandson in. We have lived in the area for years but it was our 1st time at Garcia's. The restaurant was really nice and colorful inside with the decorations on the walls although they were old. The staff very attentive. We ordered Beef Fajitas and Arroz Con Pollo. The food, well the portions were great, it was okay, it probably would have been better but it was too salty for us. We didn't want to say anything because it was already late and we were the last one's there.

Really good 9.5/10, really nice staff, 9.5 becaus3 queso dip was 10 bucks... other then that very delightful
