Fun place with great pizza. Love the decor or this garage restaurant. Only wish I knew I could dine inside a car. While some restaurants on the main drag were packed, we opted to go off the beaten path and eat here. It was fairly early and not too crowded but by the time we left, there was a line out the door. We had the Marguerita Pizza and Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious. Excellent service and great ambiance. I recommend.

I want to rate it higher because service really is a 4-4.5 but the food was ok. I couldn't finish a slice of pizza because it was on the salty side. It was not the prosciutto either because I tasted that separately. The calamari is pretty well seasoned and the carbonara was a bit salty, but the pasta was perfectly al dente. The ambiance was pretty cool and it made our Al fresco lunch very relaxing. The breeze from beach made it even better.

This was probably one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while!Food was amazing, ambience was great and overall just a great place to eat at. We celebrated a birthday with a large group and the server was very accommodating. Such a cool vibe there. I recommend this place to anyone who loved good food and a good time!I don't live close but it's worth the 2 hour drive!

This place is bit overrated.Fettuccine fresh pasta was dry & chewy. Pesto sauce was mild/mostly tasteless. Focaccia garlic was under cooked.

Loved this quaint and quirky Italian restaurant! Housed in what was once a garage, This place is so cute. They use old cars throughout even outside as functional art . One of their cars has a table in it to allow a couple to eat whilst sitting in the backseatThe food is excellent and very authenticWe had a non fried eggplant appetizer that was excellent and a pasta putanesca that was perfectly al dente We will definitely return

I recently stayed a couple of nights on Coronado Island and when perusing the restaurant nearby to my hotel this was easily one of my top picks. The Garage Buona Forchetta is setup like an old school garage (car included which also has a table inside, no clue how you get this seat), and features a beautiful rustic decor, full bar and plentiful menu options including the ability to build your own pasta dish. I almost ended up not coming here after a brief issue with the staff where they informed me they were closed and I would have to leave unless I was a customer in the store side of their business. I was a little taken aback as their hours said they were open and no where does it specify that the store and restaurant have separate hours. The lady who handled the situation could have been far friendlier than how she handled this but despite this I was already here and 10 minutes from "opening".Upon being seated inside at my table for 1, I was quickly greeted by my server who was very friendly and quickly took my cocktail/drink order for a blackberry margarita. The drink came out a few minutes later and was really well put together and tasted great. For my meal, I opted to go with the house-made fettuccine pasta with bolognese sauce. This came out shortly and I was asked if I wanted some fresh parmesan which he spooned over my dish. I will say that the portion was filling, the freshness was great and the taste was phenomenally good. This was one of the better pasta dishes I have ever had. My only other issue I had which was minor but became annoying was an older gentleman who worked there asking if I wanted parmesan on my pasta. I had told him I already had some and mixed it in and despite this he sent over the young man who had brought my food to ask me again. I waived him off and said I was good only for a different older worker to also ask me if I wanted fresh parmesan and send over the kid again. I am not sure what their fixation is with this but it started to become irritating by the third time. Please note that also appear to have a to go window for pizza as well which also looked phenomenal. Food quality for me was easily 5 stars but due to the way the earlier situation was handled and the constant badgering for parmesan cheese that I already had I have to go with a 4 for this visit. I hope to definitely come back and try more of the great food the next time I am on the island.

Love the ambiance of the Garage! We actually had a table in a car! The decor really makes you feel like you're in an old garage though. The inside is large and they have a nice outdoor area as well. They also have a little Italian market with large selection of wines, desserts, pastas, sauces, etc. I like this location a lot more than the one in South Park. Food: pizzas are good here. We got the Juna and Gulia and enjoyed both. Love the addition of the spicy honey. Dough is soft and delicious, it just gets a little soggy in the center with the sauce. I'd prefer it to be a little firmer / crispier. We started with the burrata caprese. The burrata is nice and creamy. I would've liked more basil and crostini or bread to go with it. They don't offer complimentary bread. Ordered the cannoli for dessert, which comes with three mini ones (chocolate chip, pistachio, and strawberry) and is great for sharing. Service: service has always been a bit slow for me.

I've been dying to go here for the longest and I finally was able to stop in while I was in the area, and let me tell you they didn't disappoint. You can never go wrong with a margherita pizza and a pesto pasta, two of my favorite things and delicious I may add. Our server was nice and attentive. Cute decor all around the restaurant and little store with all the yummy Italian goodies.I will be back to try some more yummy dishes.

Had a reservation for 8 people (highly recommend a reservation). I had never been here before. I am gluten free and they have plenty of options. I was even able to have the calamari as our server told us it is battered in rice flour. I can't remember the last time I was able to have calamari! The gluten free pizza was amazing, if they hadn't told me it was gluten free I would have asked to make sure because the pizza dough was so fluffy! It was probably the best gluten free pizza I have had. The restaurant had a fun vibe and a cook patio area. The bathroom was the most disgusting thing ever though. Toilet paper everywhere, brown splatter on the walls, trash overflowing. I was so grossed out by it.
