Came here late Tuesday evening around 9pm with a friend just to hang. It was packed inside at this time! It was also grad night too and ASU is right there. We were greeted by owner Jonathan and his staff right away and seated right away as well. All are friendly and attentive. The place was full of college kids so it was a bit noisy, but so was our table (we had 3 others join us). Wasn't expecting to eat since I had eaten at home prior but once they start handing me shots of soju, I eat lol. The quality of the sushi here was sooo good! Everything was fresh and I loved every single item. Give them a try!My order: Uni nigiri 5/5Garlic seared salmon nigiri 5/5Seared truffled scallop nigiri (minus the truffle) 5/5Negi hama roll 5/5

The servers did a good job considering we came close to closing time on a ASU graduation night, and they were seemingly understaff. We had to ask multiple times for small plates, water, and napkins but food came out swiftly and tasted really good. I was gonna take pictures, but after a nibble we all ate it so quick! I've been meaning to come here, and I'm happy I finally did.

This place is awesome! they have a great happy hour menu and the staff is great. me and my friend go at least once a month :) we started going to celebrate things going on in our lives and now it's a little tradition!!! they staff always remember us and the place is super adorable! it gets a little crowded with the ASU party life but still very charming 10/10!!

I've heard that this place isn't the best when it comes to service at the restaurant. I've only ordered from here and it's always been great. Repeat orders for the kimchi fried rice and the glass noodles. I ordered the kimchi soup the other day, which wasn't too bad. The sweet potato and avocado sushi roll was pretty good as well.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but the food was not good at all. Service was very friendly and attentive.Came here for lunch one day. The restaurant was not busy at all so I was able to get a table right away. There was two other patrons. Food came out fairly fast which was very nice. The seafood salad was super duper sugary and tasted like the package ones you get from the Asian grocery store. I had two bites and left it. The tofu soup was even worse, it was basically packaged miso soup add it with water, and there were pieces of tofu in the soup. This is definitely not the Korean tofu soup that it claims to be. Prices are reasonable, but I definitely would not return for the food.

Great food and presentation! Service is welcoming and the really chill. The atmosphere is relaxing and easy-going. The prices are good and so close to ASU campus, easy to walk to after classes late at night.

Came here with my wife late one night cuz we were hungry. Didn't realize that it was happy hour! We ordered a few dishes from the happy hour menu to share. Servi e was pretty quick, but the place also wasn't very busy. We ordered a few sushi rolls along with the bulgogi & the spicy pork. The rolls were good. It was def good enough to curve a craving, but not great. The bulgogi and spicy pork were just seasoned differently than what I was expecting. Good enough to fill a belly but I don't think it would be something I would order again. Overall, not too bad. Prices are decent.

Apparently Gangnam is the spot to be on Friday nights for the ASU kids! BF and I went around 10PM and this visit was far less enjoyable than usual. It took a good 10 minutes to get acknowledged/seated. Because there were 3 large parties of obnoxious ASU kiddos ordering sake bomb after sake bomb, it was loud and service was slow. Happy hour prices have gone up and portions have gotten smaller. Our order came out ~20 minutes after we ordered, in increments. Our waitress dropped off our gyoza and before she could leave, I told her it was burnt. Like deep fried AF, some pieces nearly blackened! She asked if we wanted another order and we said yes. She was nice but I couldn't believe both she and the cook really thought it was okay to serve!I don't think the elderly ajumma or appa were working, and it showed. The waitresses and waiters were taking shots of sake in the kitchen, and one of the cooks came out, got a beer, and watched the tv for a minute before heading back. I get it- dealing with the ASU crowd must not be fun. But at least go in the back so no one sees you taking shots? Lol. Our HH order of gyoza, bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, chicken katsu, egg rolls, 2 orders of sesame balls, 2 bowls of rice, 1 sake bomb, and crunchy cali roll came out to ~$50 which is not bad for two people. We love Gangnam- just won't be back late at night.
