I've been here twice now and have gotten the steak frites both times because it's just that damn good. It's the most expensive item on the menu, and at $24 it's a steal considering the pan sauce and the seasoned fries checks all the umami boxes so well, both times I nearly ordered seconds. This most recent time I went with friends for happy hour and got olives and the beet salad as well, both of which were fantastic and a great deal for happy hour. The cocktails are on point as well. One friend and I shared the crème brûlée for dessert; it was a pretty small portion for two, so I recommend not sharing on this one. Gainsbourg has a quirky boho-french decor that's unpretentious and super cozy. Definitely recommend for small groups, date nights or even solo trips (like my first visit). I'll definitely be back sometime soon.

Wow. Tres delicieux. Formidable! Hanging tender steak cooked to perfection, sauteed mushrooms, & roasted brussel sprouts. Amazing. My wife enjoyed her pan-fried duck in demi-glaze sauce with mushrooms. OMG. Served at a nice leisurely pace exactly as in France where I have traveled frequently. If you're too busy to go to France, come here.Bon appetit!

Love this little restaurant in Greenwood. How can you go wrong when it's all day happy hour on Mondays and the staff is great. Both times I've been here, I ordered the $7 burger + $1 add Gruyère cheese and a side of fries off the hh menu along with a glass of cava. The burger is a full portion and absolutely delicious. Fries are fried well and the aioli sauce is yummy. Their other food on the menu is reasonably priced and looks tasty - can't wait to be back!!

My go to for a late night bite out. Not only because of the hours, but also because it is absolutely delicious. I love that the specials change often and the food is clearly fresh. Drinks are always a fun pick, so many creative choices and I love the presentation. Open "cabaret-style" seating.

Cannot believe I didn't try this place sooner! I've walked by so many times and it has been on my list so I'm glad I finally walked in. We decided to have dinner here with our neighbors and it did not disappoint. I ordered the burger and it was so delicious! It came with fries & a delicious aioli. I also had a nice cocktail along with my dinner. I love throwing decor they had also, it had a very speakeasy/gothic vibe. The restaurant is also bigger than it looks from the outside, but get here early bc it definitely gets packed!

We were lucky, and was warm, so we got to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful vibe in the sunlight. Poutine -- fries slathered in delicious gravy -- is a comfort food for me so of course it was ordered. Baguette with salted butter. Duck confit was delicious. He orders the steak every time. Good glass of house red. Service was a bit slow, but attentive when they could come around.

Food took a bit long to come out but everything was very affordable. This place is homey and had deliciously greasy fries. They did not have the duck confit when I visited.

Went in and checked out for a light late night bite and a beverage with a few people. Staff were ok but not super friendly. Food was expensive for what it was (small bowl of macaroni around $16 with oil and cheese and a hand sized side salad) French food heavy. Smelled a little funky like old cheese and grill smoke. Tried it one time. $85 bill for 3 of us each had an appetizer and a drink with one soda. Could do better in the area.

Awesome little French bar/restaurant in Greenwood. I've had the Chateau Rignol Bordeaux (red), escargots, steak frites, and duck confit. All were quite tasty and prices are very reasonable. Service is friendly with a cool neighborhood vibe.
