G Foodmart & Deli

We were craving sandwiches for lunch while in the area and came across G Foodmart & Deli. We loved this place! This is a low key sandwich shop that's been around for 20+ years. We had a wonderful chat with the owners who are so kind and welcoming. The deli has some tables for seating but seems most people do takeout. It's a perfect place for a quick yet hearty lunch meal. We had the Turkey avocado sandwich, French dilC and fries. Turkey avocado was delicious with generous portions of Turkey and avocado. I loved every bite and thought the greens balanced the Turkey and bread out nicely with a bit of texture. It's big enough to fill pretty full afterwards. The French dip was also good - tender meat, very nice and soft melted cheese with each bite. You can adjust the saltiness with how much you dip it into the French dip. Fries were very generous in portion and good. I liked the saltiness and flavor with each bite. The fries are on the crunchier side which I like. Parking was easy and ordering was simple and fast. We're coming back in the future. It's delicious and it's nice to support a long-time community staple while at it.

Ooooh this is sooo hard to rate. This is a 3.5 star for me for now just because my hubby and I have different opinions on it. He likes it a little more than I did so it's average to be 3.5 for now.We stopped here for lunch after some doctors appointment and got food here. The place is run by these really nice folks and all but the food was ok for me.Service was ok. The guy was nice and sociable and definitely knows his regulars.We got:Turkey club sandwich and a chicken run sandwich. The chicken was supposed to be a wrap but I guess he heard me wrong and so it's a sandwich instead... Appearance wise, it looks huge and ginormous. The Bread was soft and very breast. The sandwiches itself was ok for me, nothing really special.I wanted to try this place again before I confirm my rating so I checked them out during breakfast got a bacon egg and cheese wrap. It was also ok in my opinion. My critique??? Not enough filling for the tortilla. I had to bite into sooo many layers of tortilla before I got into the filling that eventually I just ripped the extra tortilla out. Overall, I thought it was ok, not sure where the high rating is from or if I ordered the wrong stuff but I'm not super impressed. Price is also on the standard -highish side as well.

Made me sick multiple times sadly... so never coming back. Not sure how everyone says they love this place.

Sweet mom and pop shop. The couple running the place are lovely. No frills place to run and get a quick sandwich. Always in to support a small business local shop over a corporate chain sandwich place. Go check them out.

I have been searching for a great Philly Cheese Steak in the Redmond area. Today I found one at G Foodmart. The guy that helped me was so nice and friendly. I will be back to try the other sandwiches.

Wonderful hidden gem of a burger spot! I got a cheeseburger topped with egg and it was delightful. A solid, honest burger with fresh vegetables and their own house burger sauce. The serving of fries is huge! They stuff it absolutely to the brim. Beautifully seasoned with nori and salt. Taste-wise the fries are very similar to Katsu Burger's fries, which are some of my favorites! I could barely finish them all, yet I couldn't stop eating because they were so good! Even now, the taste of the salt lingers on my tongue. Overall the meal brought warmth, comfort, and freshness. Can't wait to come again and try out their sandwiches!

This is my all time favorite establishment. The sweet couple that runs this place has remembered me and my family every single time we have come into their place. They provide a variety of food, and all of them are good. My go-to is a sausage breakfast sandwich on Kaiser roll, I also like their Italian sandwich, I also like their fish and chips. To be honest, there is nothing I have ordered here that I didn't like. They are my go-to for breakfast sandwiches, for regular sandwiches, and for French toast. being a family-owned business and extremely welcoming and friendly, they will continue to have my service for years to come!

Grabbed a few sandwiches and fries for lunch- cheese burger and fries, turkey club, Turin, and Italian... with two French fries and one sweet potato fries- both no salt. The couple working was very nice. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches but having checked Yelp for the menu and saw the prices- we were surprised to have seen the $8.99 prices on pics we saw were actually $12.99. We know prices for everything have gone up but I was expecting a slightly larger sandwich for $13. Don't get me wrong it was tasty, but had it not been for the fries I would have finished my sandwich still hungry. I didn't actually measure but if I had to guess I'd say my turkey club was 6", which is a fine size for $9, but for $13 I really had hoped for more food. With everything listed above plus tax the bill was $69. For four people that is a huge dime for a few sandwiches...thus the 4 stars. Nowadays you want to support local businesses but also want to feel like you're full at the end of the meal. If the sandwich was packed with more ingredients and the same sized bun I could see maybe a $13 charge. Overall tasty food and kind service, but too pricey for the amount of food.

Fast and well worth the experience. Good food and plenty, had a cheese burger fries and a coke. Maybe a sandwich next time.

What is so good about this place? Granted the people running it are very nice. The sandwich was maybe OK. The bread wasn't good. If you are trying to make a sandwich and the bread is poor so is the sandwich. I don't care what you put inside.
