Lovely Birthday Cake! I love the simple fruit toppings. Such a lite touch. Pickup was a breeze.

Delicious cake! Prompt customer service and reliable. We had the strawberry short cake and loved it. The actual cake could be a little more moist but overall it was delicious and not overly sweet! I'll be back for more!

I had really high hopes for this place but it kinda fell short. We ordered a cake here for my dad's birthday and the ordering process was pretty easy. Pick up was also pretty easy, and price was pretty reasonably too. We ordered the tiramisu matcha cake. The cake looks good, but it was not good. The matcha on top was so thick and bitter that it overpowered everything. And not sure what else they put on top the it makes it stick to the roof of the mouth.The rest of the cake was ok and wasn't too sweet and a little dry. Lastly, they wrote the happy birthday sign for us on this little plaque. I thought it was pretty clean and neat and thought it was chocolate. When I took a bite into it though, it was basically fondant but not good fondant.Overall, it was ok but most likely not going to be back

ORDER the Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake!! The cake is moist, not too sweet, and comes w/fresh strawberries. The frosting is just light. I've had this cake the last 2 years for my birthday, and it's amazing!

I'm very disappointed in the service here. I ordered two cakes here for my husbands birthday, and when I got home I realized they made the incorrect cake. They gave me an eggless cake which was extremely dry compared to the other cake I had. By the time I realized it, we were already home and too far to drive all the way back. I emailed and called them to get this problem fixed, but no response. It's been over two weeks and I've emailed them multiple times but they are clearly avoiding my email. I asked for a refund since the cake was inedible. It's safe to say based on their lack of response and avoidance, I will not be coming back here and recommend others do the same.

Fumie san is an amazing baker. I was searching for Japanese birthday cakes. By fortune, I found her on Yelp and all the positive reviews about this place is true. I emailed her and she called me to talk about what I had in my mind. She suggested certain type of cake to uphold the fondant decorations. A Strawberry shortcake is such a typical Japanese birthday cake and I loved it very much. She suggested right cake size for the amount of guest I had. In addition, I ordered the Japanese green tea tiramisu cake and sugar crunchy cookies. The cake got so much attention and I am so glad to have found this place on yelp. I cannot wait for the next event or a party where I can take the cake as a souvenir.

Have ordered the strawberry short cake as well as the chocolate short cake. Both were yum with the right amount of sweetness. They were quite soft and moist.

My mother is japanese and always complains about food in america never being as good as back home. I got her a strawberry cake and she was so amazed that we made the hour drive again a few days later to order a mont blanc. Best japanese cakes in seattle!

I had high hopes for the cake as it had all the right ingredients, but unfortunately it felt short.It looked good and had chocolate and hazelnuts (as an addition) which I love and it wasn't too sweet - I'd preferred it a bit sweeter. The owner was nice and communicated well.Some of the shortcomings; when we were cutting the cake, the slices were breaking in crumbs and it did not look good. The layers of cake were dry, maybe more cream could have helped. The chocolate icing on the outside was too hard and dense and people did not eat it.

Fumie is amazing. She made a beautiful and delicious strawberry shortcake for the family for Mother's Day that was decorated perfectly. Looking forward to trying more of her cakes!
