Fumi Hibachi Sushi and Bar

I absolutely had incredible time. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. Then asked if we wanted to be seated in the main dining or hibachi and of course she do hibachi duh lol. The portions were large well seasoned well flavored. The chef was funny and very hilarious and very entertaining because that's what we come to hibachi right for the Chef !!we started off with drinks. I had the tequila sunrise. My husband just had orange juice and then we had appetizers. We had the brussels sprouts and I had the shrimp rolls which I devoured before I took a picture lol . For my main course, I had lychee martini, which I also devoured both THREE without taking a picture!!! lol it was delicious too and perfectly strong !!My husband had the sirloin and chicken combo and I had the sirloin and scallop combination. Another party had ordered shrimp and because the chef is no small handed he gave everyone extra shrimp as well. The hibachi room was a very large size. We didn't feel crammed. There was spaces between everyone and it was just a great time. I would highly recommend.

This restaurant should be named Fooled Me instead of Fumi! This was my second time trying this restaurant and it fooled me again! Now I know why I didn't remember it the first time. Not a fan at all! Place seems dirty given the nice layout. The restaurant windows desperately needs cleaning and I can't understand why management doesn't see things like this! Those are Simple details that drive me crazy and leads me to question the overall cleanliness of the entire establishment. Plus after looking at their previous health scores, this place has a track record of low to failing scores! As low as 50 before! So mad I didn't check this before going but we were invited by a friend for a quick meetup. The food is mediocre in my experience. They use a lot of oil in their dishes. My fried rice was so shiny when they served, honestly I thought I saw my reflection in it! Thats how greasy it looked! The service was pretty decent so no complaints about that. I can tell from my first visit the restaurant has gone down tremendously. Good luck to whoever likes this!

I came here for my birthday on 9/20 and chose the hibachi side. It was amazing! The people here are very friendly and the food and drinks were well made and decently priced! My party had about 12 people and we all were beautifully accommodated. I'll definitely be back

Normally when I eat here the experience is awesome. But this time I did not like the cook we had. The food was cooked great but I didn't even get enough vegetables to go with my food. He gave everyone else extra. That has never happened before. I don't know if it was bc I was the only black person at the table. My son and I were disappointed and felt that the cook did us unfairly. I'm hoping I never get this cook again!!!!!

The food was good. let me repeat that. It was good not great. It's in Duluth so be prepared for a drive and we went on a Saturday but fortunately the dinner crowd hadn't gotten there yet. The service was superb. This was my first time visiting this spot so they made a good 1st impression. There wasn't anything specific that I disliked. It was a standard hibachi place. Great place for a 1st date

First time in here and went on a Sunday afternoon. Not many people in there, but very nice on the inside. The server was nice and attentive. As far as the food, everything was very fresh! I had a lychee martini here and it was superb! The sushi is also very tasty. I will be back to try their hibachi.

I came here for Mother's Day. My first time at Fumi. You have to pay $5 to park at the restaurant and if not you can park at the other lots near by. The restaurant is modern and clean. The salad was really good because of the dressing. The service was good as well. The food was good, so were the vegetables. I personally don't care for hibachi but I only came because of my family. I won't return because it's pricey and I can get it cheaper elsewhere but I don't have anything bad to say about the place itself. They also gave the mothers a rose for Mother's Day which was a nice surprise. I'm not a mom but they gave me a rose lol. I recommend this place if you like hibachi and don't mind spending some money
