Unique and interesting atmosphere. Unacceptable service. Staff was nice and tuned into the fact the service was bad, but couldn't rectify it. We had an 8pm reservation, couldn't order until after 9 and despite not doing a dessert course we didn't get out until after 11.We got a round of free shots to acknowledge the poor service pretty early in the night, but the service never improved. We had a party of 8 which I understand comes with its own challenges. 4 people were served 30 minutes before the other 4. And to top it all off, the tip was included in the bill at 20% which would normally be no problem, but the tip should reflect the level of service and that choice was taken from us. Our first drink order took about an hour to fulfill from the time we sat down and they weren't busy. Portions were small. They had about 5 different entree options and 2 were sold out at 8pm on Friday. Really trying to find a silver lining but ultimately at a loss. The steak was cooked well but it was the final dish served after most people at the table finished eating. The cocktails were pretty pricey but we were able to get a bottle of wine for about $60 which was nice because it doesn't require the wait staff for refills. Our bill for 9 people was well over 100 per plate with 0 happy customers. Plenty of other places to try before giving this place a second chance.

I went here for a DJ/ Dance event organized by the promoters of Chicago Progressive House (C P H) (you can find them on Facebook and Instagram) as they are known to bring quality international and local talent. I know a couple of guys from the C P H group, and I like to support them whenever possible. C P H organized an event called Anjunabeats Worldwide 11 Tour featuring international DJ/ Producer act, Alex Sonata and TheRio and local talent, Adrian Armendariz and Lucy in the Sky. It was their first time organizing an event at Fulton Market Kitchen and my first time checking F M K as well. I didn't know until this event was announced that F M K doubles as an after-hours club. The entrance to the event room was through the back door entrance of the restaurant. The club room was nicely set up with a good sound system and lighting. The DJ booth was set up nicely, and the dance floor area, although packed, was not hard to navigate. A big bar was right adjacent to the dance floor. I liked the decor and ambiance of F M K. I did not have any drinks, so I can't speak for their costs and quality. The music was good, and the vibe was fun. I will be going back to F M K for other similar events, and perhaps I'll check out their restaurant as well someday.

My love and I have been to Fulton Market Kitchen for drinks previously, but we finally enjoyed their food during a Happy Hour visit recently. The establishment seems like a hip art gallery with colorfully decorated interiors. The Happy Hour runs from 4 to 6PM on weekdays, and when we came minutes after 4PM on a Thursday the place was empty. The current specials range from $4-11, so you can have a delicious meal with swanky beverages at a discounted rate from the limited HH menu. The Happy Hour menu pricing is slightly higher than what is listed on the website, but that's how it goes. Our drinks - FMK Old Fashioned and Trouble in Paradise (a "kick-ass margarita") - were gems at only $8 a glass. We shared the Cacio e Pepe ($10) and the Hella Burger ($11) and both were outstanding food selections. At first glance the pasta dish seemed simple, but the thick bucatini had such a robust cheesy taste. Likewise, the burger uses ground wagyu chuck and bacon for a savory "meaty" flavor. The service is spot on, and your check is presented to you in a cigar box. We will welcome another visit to FMK, definitely a star in the bustling Fulton Market area.

Vibey spot for group dinners! Located right next to Time Out Market, FMK feels super urban serving fun drinks and "international" eats. Standouts we're the cocktails! We love pretty drinks Downhill from there - food is average at best. They have fancy descriptions but tastes very basic. If you want recs, then maybe the brussel sprouts & cacio e pepe...? Those were the better dishes from the night. Overall, feels expensive for the quality (and quantity) of cooking, esp when there are so many other options nearby. Violet Spell $16* Peach, Please $16* Tuna tartare $24 Crispy Brussel Sprouts $13* Cacio e Pepe $23* Bulgogi Marinated Octopus $26 Chocolate Cake ?Time Out 마켓 바로 옆에 위치한 식당.

AMAZING! I came here for their Happy Hour with a friend and enjoyed myself plenty. She actually came a little late so I had a drink (margarita) while waiting and it was delicious and gave me a good buzz. I went ahead and ordered for us - she wanted the burger and I got cacio e pepe. I can go on and on about that pasta.. ugh LOVED!!! I want it again lol and for $9?! Are you kidding me?!Great Happy Hour deals for sure!!! Their restaurant is beautiful - high ceilings, chandeliers, mood lighting, nice bar - highly suggest for a date night.

I've been to Timeout half a dozen times but did not realize that this restaurant was located right next door. I was about 10 minutes late to our reservation so my friend was able to grab a drink at the bar while he waited. Our server let us know that the menu was set up tapas style where we could order smalls plates to share. We started with the tuna tartare and the crispy chicken croquettes. We shared a cacio o pepe that was creamy. My favorite part of the meal was the seasonal dessert. I ordered a miso squash creme brulee. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The restaurant had very high ceiling and very beautiful artworks adorning the walls and ceiling. There was a large door that opened up to an additional event space in the restaurant.

Came here for a private party for work. The space itself is huge and the venue is beautiful. It's an urban and elevated restaurant that has a bit of a nightclub feel too. We had a DJ and they had lights. The service was great, we were created with wine and cocktails. And the food came out fast. Food overall was okay. We started with a few salads, which were pretty standard. We had something called "airplane chicken" and a salmon dish. The chicken was a bit dry and kinda reminded me of chicken on a plane. Not sure why they called it that. Salmon fish was much better and better flavored. At the end, they had dessert tables with macarons, chocolate cakes, and other options. It seemed their spread of dessert was much better than their options for dinner.

This review is specifically for the 365 Bellakeo Latin Saturday event at Fulton Market Kitchen and not the food service at FMK. By far the most unacceptably rude staff that I have ever encountered at a venue. Got denied entry when we reserved tickets ahead of time, so the ad for the event is blatantly false advertising. Most importantly, the man working the entrance communicated this like a disrespectful swine on a power trip. Would recommend to party elsewhere and not give your money to these people.
