Our chef was a great time, had the table giggling all night. The food was well prepared and tasted amazing. Went for a birthday and it was quite a spectacle. Pricy, but super fun.

* Review is for sushi only. * Two of us needed to grab a quick lunch to go and came here for a couple sushi rolls. We initially thought of going to Musashi's a couple blocks away, but it was closed until dinnertime, so despite the higher pricing, Fuji became our only option for sushi at Redmond Town Center. I've always been curious about this place, so we figured, why not? At around 12:30P, only a few tables were occupied and one of them had the full teppanyaki show going. The host came over immediately and took our order. He said it would be about a 10-15 minute wait, which turned out to be spot on. Although this restaurant is known for teppanyaki, they do have a large menu of sushi options and specialty rolls. + CATERPILLAR ROLL ($18): Eel, crab & cucumber inside with thinly sliced avocado and unagi sauce on top. The avocado was perfect and I was glad to see it had more eel meat than fatty skin. Unfortunately there were so many bones in the eel! I know that the bones are edible, but I could feel them scratching my mouth and throat. While tasty, this wasn't super pleasant to eat. + LION KING ROLL ($18): Crab, cucumber and avocado inside, topped with seared salmon and spicy mayo. For the most part, I enjoyed this roll, although the salmon was barely seared. It was delicious and silky though, and I'd rather have it seared less than be overcooked. I didn't really care for the spicy mayo on top since it was on the sweeter side, but luckily the roll was not drenched in the sauce. + VEGETABLE TEMPURA ($12): This was a good medley of green beans, zucchini, onion, kabocha squash and carrot. They were super crispy and tasted even better with a dip in the tempura sauce. The onion rings were my favorite. Between the two of us, this was a nice light lunch. The rolls were a reasonable size and satisfied our sushi craving. In the future, I could see myself coming back for another one of their specialty rolls or trying the teppanyaki experience for a special occasion. 3.75 stars.

My bf has never been to a Japanese steakhouse for teppanyaki before, so we choose this place for his first experience. We had reservations, but there was still a little wait. We started off with cocktails. I got the Mojito, which was pretty good, but seemed to be mostly ice. He got a Moscow Mule, and he liked it. For our teppanyaki dinner, I got the filet mignon and lobster and he got the filet mignon and shrimp. I thought we were going to need to order more food after, like maybe sushi, but our dinner actually filled us up. Food was good and cooked well. Service, including our cook, were very friendly. The food and the experience seems to be pretty much the same as all the teppanyaki places I've been to.

Food was great. Ordered filet mignon and shrimp. Loved the chef's engagement with all the people at the table. We sat with another family and it was their first time as well. Fun time and we will be back!

This is written by me but polished by generative AI as an experiment. We embarked on an exhilarating Friday evening adventure to Fuji Steak House, brimming with anticipation. Without a reservation, we entered, half-expecting disappointment, only to be pleasantly surprised. The gracious staff swiftly arranged a table for us alongside six other lively souls, igniting a sense of camaraderie and shared delight. While teppanyaki undoubtedly steals the limelight here, it's worth noting that Fuji Steak House caters to diverse palates, offering alternative culinary journeys for the discerning epicurean. For connoisseurs of teppanyaki, the familiar crescendo of excitement unfolds. The extensive menu beckons, promising an enticing array of tantalizing choices featuring an exquisite medley of terrestrial and aquatic proteins. The teppanyaki affair commences in earnest, accompanied by a delightful ensemble of accompaniments: fragrant white rice or delectably savory fried rice, a soul-soothing soup, and a petite salad that tickles the taste buds. But the true spectacle lies in the chef's performance--a mesmerizing showcase of dexterity and flair. Utensils pirouette through the air, eggs are caught with sublime precision, and an egg defies gravity, soaring skyward before being elegantly cleaved in twain by a swift spatula. Behold the enchanting pyrotechnics of flaming onion volcanos, dancing flames casting an otherworldly glow.Enveloped in a whirlwind of entertainment, we found ourselves thoroughly captivated, our senses heightened. And amidst the spectacle, let us not forget the gastronomic treasures that awaited. The food, a worthy co-star, surpassed our expectations, delivering flavors that delighted and satisfied. In retrospect, our escapade to Fuji Steak House proved to be an unforgettable soiree, a harmonious fusion of entertainment and culinary prowess.

Had dinner here Wednesday early evening with the family and an out of town guest. We enjoyed the food and entertainment! Our steaks, shrimp and lobster was great so was the service provided by waitress and chief! Quit entertaining to watch our food cooked in front of us with an engaging chief that created an ambiance worth returning for. Everyone had a good time, food was good quality and we left happy with a full belly! Honestly don't understand some other unhappy reviews, we had a great time as usual! Thanks Fuji steakhouse!

I would give the food quality and portion delicious. It was expensive for sure for hibachi. Benihana prices almost $600 for 7 people. But the service exquisite and food delicious and we did have drinks too

This was my first ever experience eating teppanyaki and it was delicious and so entertaining. We came here for my fiancés birthday and they went above and beyond to celebrate him. They sang him happy birthday twice - once during the cooking of dinner and the second time afterwards with free ice cream. They brought out several staff members banging a drum to sing him happy birthday with his ice cream. They even had him stand up and dance to it. My fiancé loved this! I will say though, I HATE attention in public like this so for me, this would've been too much attention for my birthday for my liking but if you like above and beyond, this is the place for you!The food was really delicious. I ordered the new york steak and chicken teppanyaki and that comes with a salad, soup, rice, mixed veg and two dipping sauces. I upgraded to get the fried rice instead of the white rice that it comes with and it was only $5 more. I also ordered the El Diablo sushi roll which was really tasty and not fishy at all. The cooking of the food was so entertaining and our chef did a fantastic job putting on a show and making delicious food. I'd love to come back for another celebration!

The food and service were great. My one complaint is that the chef was verbally inappropriate to my young daughters. They were visibly underage (under 9) and he called them both "baby girl" and "baby" and made suggestive moaning noises to them. I understand joking is part of the show, but I feel there should be some regard for age as it is a family restaurant. I would return again, but would NOT bring my children.
