As a returning customer, I'm truly disappointed by the disorganization and management. I've pre-ordered over the phone multiple times and had no complications with the Chinatown location. But at the Elliot location, the manager blamed me for their mistake. In the end, I got my refund 4 months later and am now banned from ordering in the future. The details:On 8/15, I called to place an order on a whole soufflé cheesecake for pickup on 8/17. I was told I could come by anytime before 5pm to pick up the cake, so I showed up at 4pm. When I asked for my order and provided my email receipt, they were unable to locate the cake or the ticket. They had a bunch of pink sticky notes placed on the wall as their system. After further searching, they found my ticket written for pickup on 8/17, placed in the 8/24 pile (the next Thursday). My cake wasn't ready so the manager came out and explained she would prepare one on the spot but I'd need to wait 2-3 hours for it to defrost. That was no problem for me since it was 4pm and we were probably going to have the cake after dinner. I also had no options to pick up a cake elsewhere in time for the birthday celebration. While I waited, she offered me a drink on the house, which I thought was a nice gesture. We even made small talk while she customized the birthday note. Everything was fine until it was 7:30pm and most of the cake's center was still frozen. The next day, I called to let her know it was still frozen. She apologized and said she was unable to refund the amount back to my card but was able to add reward points to my account/ phone number. I happily agreed since I could easily order a cake within 6 months (reward stars expire after 6 months). On 12/26, 4 months later, I called to confirm the credit was in my account as I was ready to make a cake order. I found out only 8 points were credited to my account (10 points = $5 off). I told the staff I'd call back in a few minutes after checking the refund wasn't processed to my card. After confirming it wasn't refunded, I called back and the same staff said, "I have no idea what you're talking about. Hold." Very unprofessional. After a few minutes, I was happy to hear the voice of the manager. I explained the situation and she says she remembers. I asked about my refund and she explained the 8 stars added to my account was it. This wasn't my understanding and there was clearly some sort of miscommunication. I expressed I'd still like my full refund and she blamed me for picking up the cake on 8/17. She said if I didn't take the cake (that I ordered for pickup on 8/17), then she could've refunded me. But since I walked out with the cake, it was on me. I clarified that we had the cake 3 hours later (as instructed by her) and it was still frozen. She kept saying, "In our experience, that is not possible." She showed no signs of sympathy and pushed the fault onto me the entire time. In the end, she lost patience and processed a refund to my card. She added, "you will no longer be able to place orders in the future." I'm now banned from ordering all because of their own disorganization! If my cake was ready for pickup, there would've been no problem. I've had the same soufflé cheesecake multiple times soon after picking it up and they were ready to eat. I'm extremely disappointed and don't recommend pre-ordering cakes.

Amazing selection! I loved everything we had and I wanted to buy even more! The staff is super efficient and friendly in helping folks get in and out pretty quick. It's dog friendly as long as your pup is well-behaved and comfortable with a bit of a crowd. We came later than we meant to and were worried the selection would be limited but they still had pretty much everything even though it was close to noon. Mostly a grab and go location though they have a few small tables and chairs outside and a bench inside. I'd recommend taking your stuff across to the park!

Beautifully made fresh baked pastries that are inspired by French and Japanese cooking. We tried one of each of the tarts and a savory ham and cheese pastry and it was all very good. The service was very quick and friendly although the place was busy and with only two working at the time. There's only a large waiting bench inside, although there's some tables if you're brave enough to sit outside with warm pastries on a Seattle morning. The cappuccino I had also was tasty and went down smooth. Slightly pricey but not as bad as some places in downtown Seattle.

Love this spot! It's taken me so long to finally try it out, but it sure didn't disappoint. Unassuming building right off the road, but extremely clean and full of treats. We got the chicken katsu sandwich (on delicious white bread), beef curry pastry, ube malasada, and bacon & cheddar roll. The chicken katsu sandwich hit the spot especially warmed up at home! The beef curry was flavorful, savory, and sweet. Ube malasada was packed full, and delightful. Cant wait to come back and try some more! ALSO this place has really good drip coffee.

Definitely coming back to try more! The ube malasada was a delight, perfect ratio of dough to filling and was so fluffy and delicious. The milk stick was fun, the buttercream inside had a wonderful taste but the milk bread was a bit tougher for my preferences. Apple pie croissant excellent, the apples were so flavor forward. Also had very convenient parking nearby!

Atmosphere: 4/5We went Sunday morning and there was a line full of people (but it didn't exceed outside the store). It went by relatively fast. We actually appreciated the line because it gave us adequate time to look at the pastry case. It's definitely a take and go kind of place - not much seating and definitely not the type of place where you can sit and do work.We also noticed that they just had an "Okay" food safety rating - we were indifferent about it but something to note if that's important to you.Service: 4/5Service was good, considering a lot of other bakeries consist of people who often seem like they don't want to be there. She was friendly.Food: 4/5Everything was great! We got an almond croissant, cinnamon roll cruffin, and a crunchy cream. The croissant was good, nice and crispy, but doesn't beat Bakery Noveau's twice baked almond croissant. My boyfriend really enjoyed the cruffin and crunch cream. It wasn't mind blowing but definitely a solid place to get baked goods. They also have drinks you can order. We noticed that all the pastries we got weren't crazy sweet, which I know a lot of Asians can appreciate. So, if you have a major sweet tooth, you might think these aren't sweet enough (perhaps the other items are sweeter?). We paid around $13-14 for 3 pastries including tip - good price. Location: 4/5Haven't been to the Chinatown one, but the Interbay location was great - small parking lot off to the side but it fills up quick. There's often easy street parking though in the front. This location is a pretty random location so I would not say it's easily commutable unless you're driving by car.

this place is cute and quick if you need a grab and go bite. however, i dont feel like it was anything special. the coffee was standard while the pastries didnt stand out to me. i liked that the fillings werent too sweet but the distribution inside the pastries was uneven so i had to break off the bread and dip it the filling.

Delicious food, fast and friendly staff. We finally tried Fuji Bakery after hearing about it from multiple people and it did not disappoint. We went at 2pm on a Saturday and I was worried the selection would be greatly picked over (as is the case for many bakeries) but they still had a ton of selection and there was no line. We got our items to go. There are a few tables outside where you could sit, but given the location right off a very busy road, I would say you are better off grabbing some items and then heading to a nearby park in Magnolia, Queen Anne or along the water for better ambiance while you eat.We ordered multiple items including the Ube Malasada (my favorite item overall), Matcha Cruffin, Beef Curry, Chicken Katsu Sando, Bacon Cheese Braid and a Blueberry Lemon Curd Croissant. I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was! The bread tasted so fresh and the flavors were strong. To top it all off, their prices are very reasonable. The only downside is we did not visit this place sooner since moving here as this is for sure to become a regular go-to place for us. Highly recommend!

I had to make a stop here before my flight out to Chicago! This bakery was recommended to me by so many locals, and I get the hype. I arrived right when they opened at around 7:00-7:30AM, and there was already a line of people placing orders. There are so many interesting baked goods to choose from, but I had my heart set on the Ube and Matcha Malasadas. I also decided to try their Egg-Sando, Cannelé, and Beef Curry. They also serve drinks, so I decided to go with a cappuccino for the vibes. Here are my thoughts - 1. Ube and Matcha Malasadas - the brioche donut was really tasty, but the fillings were a miss. I didn't get much flavor out of the ube or matcha. I just wish the flavors were a bit more powerful. 3/5 2. Beef Curry - delicious! The star of the show. The Japanese bread crumb was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef filling was extremely flavorful and generous. 5/5 3. Egg-Sando - I've been spoiled by San Francisco's Japanese restaurants, and that might have been the culprit to my disappointment. The sando was extremely different than the original egg sandwich. It honestly felt like I was eating a mayonnaise sandwich. Sadly, it was a miss! 1/5 4. The Cannelé was so good! I haven't tried anything like it before, but it was truly delicious. 5/5 Overall, I loved Fuji Bakery! This place is now on my list of MUST-GO places whenever I'm in the Seattle area. Glad I made the last minute stop. ~Till next time!
