Frutas Locas Pandas

Walked by and saw the signage so I decided to get a couple of tortas. This place used to be Wings n Things and notice that they just moved in with our really remodeling much. I ate the food that was ok but sitting there waiting for my food I noticed how grimy and dirty the floors were. It was so black from the grime. Just doesn't make me want to eat there again if they aren't cleaning up right. Plus they charge a surcharge for using a credit card $26 for a couple of tortas and they have the nerve to charge me a credit card fee on top of that? Plus the girl must have her job cause she didn't crack a smile. Pass

I stopped in this second location of Frutas Locas Pandas who also own this spot on 2nd st. in El Cajon. There name is a little different. Here it is "Panda's Tortas and Frutas Locas."For breakfast, I had the chorizo torta with beans, chorizo and eggs, and cheese on a toasted torta bread for $10. The chorizo and eggs were very good, but the beans were not very good. In fact, they tasted kinda old or not freshly made. Also, they need to toast and press the bread better. It certainly needed a better toasting. At $10, they should consider adding freshly slice avocado to the torta. It needed something else.The young lady at the counter was friendly enough, but not much for conversation. They make a variety of Mexican Tortas and a many different fruit products here.

The best day to come is whenever you are in the area and hungry - but if you are also both thirsty and thrifty, the best day to come here is Wednesday.(to get a free 32oz fruit water with your torta). Portions are large - so if desired or needed; can be either be shared with a friend or saved for a second meal (assuming you are able to keep from consuming it all yourself as soon as you get it).... Bring and pay with cash.

Terrible. Waited 20 minutes for 2 aguas Frescas that weren't even good. Cashier has an attitude and it seems like only one person was actually working. You can hear other staff members in the back yet only one person was running out orders. Not the first time I had a bad experience either.

Not good, this is solely on the service and raspados. We paid for the raspado loco, this in our case was the mango raspado with chamoy and tajin. We asked for them to squeeze lime into them and add chaca chaca for an extra dollar per cup. They add a tarugo and mango slices on top too. For starters, the mango slices were hard and some on the skin still on, not edible. The "flavor", dull, the best way I can put it is unfiltered tap water. There was no real taste, definitely didn't taste like mango, little sweetness from the syrup and chamoy, they didn't add the lime we requested and there were very few chaca chaca pieces for what we paid for. I asked for the lime so we could squeeze it in ourselves in hopes that the flavor would be better. It was not. The staff should be spoken to about hygiene, I feel it's important to have good hygiene specially when working in the food industry. Service wasn't great and the place was HOT on a 80 degree day in El Cajon they could have turned the air on in my opinion. Take the drive to spots in Chula Vista, the drive is worth it for way better raspados, la michoacana, Vanessa's Deli, Frutas etc.

I saw this place close to the pet store and gave it a try. I ordered fresas con crema, and it was a little pricey. For 2 strawberries and cream drink and some cinnamon chips it was over $27.00, and the granola was extra. The strawberries were still greenish and sour so it changed the mellow of the mix, but, they are very generous with the strawberries. They do have a small selection of foods, but, I haven't tried any of the selections, maybe next time when I'm in the area. I'd say, try it, and enjoy.

Went in and got 2 chamangos and the service was horrible the two girls were very rude and talking shit in Spanish (little did they know I'm bilingual and understood everything). they were mad we walked in after they finished mopping even though I went in an hour and a half before closing, the drinks were very water down, no chakka chakka, the mangos still had the skin on them and were green. Overall just a really bad experience and poor customer service.

Strawberry agua fresca is delicious! My mother in law got a chamango & she was very pleased:)

This was supposed to be a chamango but mostly mango, super sweet. Not a fan spending $10 & getting shorted on my drink!

I went to this place craving a cold drink and instead I got terrible customer service wasn't given the right drink and tasted sour (orange juice do not recommend) the cashier was very quiet hardly could hear what she was saying but very rude tone. The floor needs sweeping and some mopping very sticky .
