Frutas 100% Natural

I retired a few years ago and moved back here to Chula Vista. I was excited to come back home after being away and living in the Bay Area for almost 40 years. I immediately had a newfound love for San Diego and all it had to offer. I was always pretty active and when I got into Chula Vista, I immediately started looking to friends that would want to go and work out 4 to 5 times a week in the morning early, which would include a bike ride on mountain bikes or a walk on the beach because of the fact that there are so many miles of beach here in San Diego you can really get a good workout walking in the sand. I had the perfect plan to get and stay in good shape so my friend and I started hitting it hard and eventually we were riding 25 miles or walking 9 miles on the beach. The workout was definitely draining and you needed to rehydrate and the way I would come back from the ocean or the beaches. I would always come down Broadway to come to my house and I was always passing Frutas's 100% natural, then decided to go ahead and stop in there and see what it was all about. I was very happy to see the case that had nothing but fresh fruits that looks so remarkably good and how good that would taste when it would be juiced. The prices were excellent and the juice was fantastic so it became a regular thing. I will tell you though that there is one thing you need to know, especially if you don't like the extra sugar when you order your juice make sure you tell him you don't want any added sugar and then you can have it mixed with whatever you want almond milk, soy milk, whatever they have they'll be happy to blend it up for you. Juices are so refreshing and tasty. I actually look forward to the workout being over more than I did anything else because I knew I was gonna be getting one of those juices. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's a very calm and easy-going atmosphere and there are seats outside as well, which is great for the cool down. If you like a good juice, you would like Frutas.

Ham torta always hits the spot! I wish the cucumbers and jicama were cut into smaller pieces but Tostilocos were still delicious

Fresh pressed juice and very affordable price for the size of juice...They didn't have kale only bummer but would recommend

I was really craving an acai bowl after my workout and decided to stop by! Really amazing/fast service. Loved how packed the portion was, definitely left satisfied.

Very poor customer service experience. You are judged immediately you walk in. We placed an order our witch sat behind the counter without letting us know. Our was soggy by the time we got it. We do not recommend it. It's unfortunate.

These Gelatinas are so yummy and very colorful! This one is my favorite one and I always make sure to get one whenever I'm around the area. I do love their chicken tortas and smoothies as well. This is a popular location so it does take awhile to order and wait for your food to be ready. I would recommend it if you have time to wait and enjoy your food while it's fresh. The Avocado and tomatoes in my torta had begun to darken by the time I got to work. My solution has been to simply ask without the two. I still think this place is great.

Terrible costumer service, literally it was just me and my mom at the restaurant and they couldnt tell us our food was ready, so ofcourse when we got it, food was cold, couldnt believe they couldn't handle two costumers.

This is a good place for everyone in San Diego to visit- the Bonita location is safer and more of an aesthetic area, but I go to this one because they don't charge me extra when I need an additional salad dressing. Service: very rarely will an English speaking cashier be working, so the male torta guy always helps translate. He's very kind. I do see how some of these reviews say there's really poor service here, I've experienced that too, usually from the non English speaking cashiers here. They're not rude per se they just couldn't give a rats a** about you and don't like their jobs. Food: I go here because I think they have the best fruit salad I've found thus far. No one ever told me I can pick what fruits I want in the fruit salad- I'm always shy modifying orders. But they give enough cottage cheese- other places don't give enough cottage cheese or honey. My usual order is tropical chicken salad with jalapeño and ranch dressing and strawberry with papaya smoothie. Their chicken is not disgusting quality like most places these days. Which I really appreciate. Parking is decent here but beware there's always bums around this area.

Service was not good they dont let you use there bathroom they say No were cleaning it, there customer service is not good.

Sandwhiches are good but customer service is Not. The ladys always grouchy, not smiles for free lol
