Frothy Monkey

"I decided to give Frothy Monkey another chance. This time, instead of taking out, I opted to sit and experience their service fully. Surprisingly, for a Monday afternoon, the café had a 10-minute wait, indicating its popularity even on weekdays. To escape the warm Nashville afternoon, I chose to sit inside.The café team was very welcoming and sweet, which made up for my previous visit. During my last visit, I had ordered their Turtle Latte, which I didn't quite enjoy. It seemed diluted in flavor and didn't match its description on the menu. So, this time, I decided to skip the coffee and try something different. I went for an Oat Milk Matcha. My steward suggested adding Lavender Honey, which sounded intriguing, so I took their advice.My friend ordered lunch for herself, and while everything took a bit of time to arrive, it was understandable given the busy atmosphere and the number of takeout orders they were handling. The seating at Frothy Monkey is quite comfortable, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or just relax.When my matcha finally arrived, it was worth the wait. It was refreshing, not overly icy but perfectly chilled, and the lavender honey added a delightful floral note, elevating the drink to another level.Overall, my experience was quite nice, and I'm glad I decided to give Frothy Monkey another try. It's definitely a cozy place to unwind, and the staff's recommendations added a pleasant twist to my order."

I was in Nashville for a weekend with my girlfriends and we came here with a reservation on CMA weekend. It was busy but the place with the shortest wait time. We waited about 30 minutes for a table of 4. Other places had a wait time of up to 2 hours. Collectively, we didn't love the food. Much of it was bland and we asked for sauces to add more flavor into our food. In addition to the lack in food quality, the service was not good. Our waiter seemed to be bothered when he had to come back for some of our requests when we initially forgot to ask the first time. The interaction didn't make this a great experience.

Came here for little coffee and pastry to hold us over till lunch while we walked around this cute area in 12 south. It was definitely busy in there! For our coffee I got the turtle latte iced and my friend got the Blume. Shockingly the Blume was delicious as we were sure based on it having fruity and flowery flavors in it. The biscuit and jam along with the snickerdoodle cookie were both scrumptious. Their brunch options looked great as well! Give this place a try if you're in Nashville.

Great food and environment! Visiting from Hawaii, this is a different experience than your regular coffee house. We sat outside under a pear tree. The salads have texture and unique flavor, there is a surprising variety of coffee flavors, and the food is delicious. One coffee we ordered was the Golden Monkey Latte. Talk about a turmeric filled savory coffee. It was like drinking a cup of curry. Highly recommended.

Ordered to go Sunday morning when there were only a few other patrons there. Ordered a black coffee, a latte, and two bagels both with a side of scrambled egg. Our coffees were made quickly, but then we proceeded to wait 12 extra minutes for our food which was no problem. However, when we got home to have our bagels and eggs, I was surprised to see that our TWO orders of eggs had shriveled into what looks like barely one whole egg. Very disappointed.

Stopped by here with a group of girls on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy with a line from the counter out through front door but it moved quickly. I am a big Bloody Mary girl so I was excited to see they offered these on the menu. However, it has coffee in it! I asked the girl at the counter about it and she said it was really subtle and you couldn't taste it. I took the risk and was happy I did because it was delish! I took a sip of one of my friend's coffees and it was so good!

This is a nice retreat from the heat. It was 93 degrees today and we were heading back to the hotel. I asked my son Brandon to find a local coffee shop. This pulled up. He got a cold Chai latte. I did a 5 AM. Think of it as a non alcoholic old fashioned. It's a nice taste and quite different. Madison got a snicker doodle cookie and liked it. Would highly recommend stopping by when you're in the area.

The server was very relaxed and nice. We sat outside and the food was really good! My irish coffee was great.

The drinks and food were so good! I had the La Rochelle margarita and my friend had a bourbon drink with star anise, called maple bourbon smash. Let's just start with how good they smelled! We knew we were in for a treat! Our server was so wonderful! She came back and chatted with us. We dined on the Farmhouse Cheeseburger and the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage. We both were very pleased with our choices. It was a wonderful way to end our vacay to Nashville.
