Frontier

We just moved to the area less than a year ago and frontier has become our regular spot! Everything we have tried has been absolutely amazing. The flavors are ridiculously delicious here!! Not only is the food amazing, the service is great. Everyone is so friendly. Our first time there we got a free sample and got to chat with multiple people!The overall atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The ambiance is a cozy southern vibe. I would definitely recommend frontier to anyone who loves barbecue and a good time.

Went here for dinner with the family last night. The sweet corn appetizer was extremely flavorful and the perfect summer appetizer. I had the BBQ Lamb Burger, which was very good. Mom had the Nashville chicken, dad had the burger, and the girlfriend had the fried rice. Everything was great! They also have a nice patio for seating in addition to the dining room.

Hosted hubbys birthday party there. Had the "chefs table" with a large format dinner including Gator boar goat Chicken .. what a wonderful experience everyone enjoyed! Great cocktails and even GREAT-ER Sides

I'm a repeat visitor here! They never fail to exceed all my hopes and dreams with the options, ambiance, and service. We loved the crab cakes so much we ordered a second round! Their patio is so cozy, great date spot, or a big group! I got the stuffed branzino, amazing. And I love their dark and stormy drink, and had a great old fashioned. I reccomend this place to people all the time.

I finally made it back for brunch. Our server, I wanna say his name is Giovanni, not 100% sure. He was friendly and recommended an awesome drink, PANTERA NOIRE, I ended up having 2. I definitely had to get my mushroom fritter, so good and Quinten from the bubble bacon and bourbon fest was there, still just as friendly and amazing as I remember.

Cozy cabin meets fun BBQ smokehouse. The ambiance is fun- there is a covered outdoor spot with tons of natural light that really gives the cabin feel. The other side of the restaurant is tables and a more "classic" restaurant feel. It wasn't crazy busy for a Thursday, but the drinks were great and the meat was delicious. Would recommend as a good spot to go if you didn't make a reservation, which is hard to find in the city!

Catching up on Yelp reviews as I visited here back in August for Brunch on a Sunday and it was about a quarter full. Frontier is known for their southern cuisine, bourbon & tequila cocktails, and exotic meats. They are a Saints bar on gamedays. They have a very nice patio outside with seating, TVs, and natural lighting. Ambiance inside was dimly lit and they played hip hop music in the background. I ordered a Bloody Mary extra spicy and I thought it was good. It had good flavor, spice, and I loved the three olives. I ordered the Great Shark East Coast Oysters as a starter, which were good, but could have been better. They were fresh and big, but all of the brine spilled out of the shell, which is the best part of the oysters. I ordered the Burger, which was charbroiled (think BK), and it had good flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the seeded bun, but it fresh. The burger was juicy and good with some spices on it. The toppings were meh. Fries were crunchy and salty so they were good. Bun: 7Burger: 7 Toppings: 5Overall: 6.33Fries: 7My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I had a bite. I wished I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich as that was very good. The chicken filet was huge and it had awesome breading, which was super crispy. The Nashville sauce was very good as it was sweet with a nominal kick. IIRC, our server said that the Fried Chicken Sandwich is always on the menu as they change the menu frequently. So that really sums up how good the sandwich was. Our server was great. He was very knowledgable about the menu and friendly. Food came out pretty fast too. Prices were a tad higher for Chicago ($20/entree), I thought the portions sizes were big to justify the price. Overall, I thought Frontier was a cool spot and I would come back to try their exotic meats and some more cocktails!

I had biked pat Frontier countless times and it looked amazing. I had also heard amazing things and was very excited to try it. My friend and I came for brunch. Service was fine. Food was fine. Cocktails were not particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was fine. Based on what I had heard, I was hoping for more.

Popped in for the oyster brunch before the Sky game. The oysters were good and meaty. The frozeè was excellent as well. Didn't love that you can't choose the oysters that you get, but for $2 each you cannot be that choosy. This was my second visit and the service and experience was consistent.I will warn you that the patio gets loud. It's not a bad thing on its own--but for me it got a little overwhelming because it was like the guests were in competition on who could be the loudest.

I went to this spot for brunch.. the atmosphere on the patio very bright and inviting. The inside was darker and beautiful wooden atmosphere. The service was fast. The waiter provided great suggestions for the food. We didn't choose mimosas as an option because it was only served with champagne versus some alternatives. But given that they are a tequila and whiskey bar my options seemed pretty easy. I had a tequila with Rosen's lime and a tequila with cucumber basil drink. My partner had a Hennessy sidecar and rye tye. All very good drinks. Starters: smoked wings were tasty but I needed a dipping sauce to add a bit of flavor. Lamb empanadas: were excellent including the sauces. Mushroom fritters: were also very good with an excellent sauce. Meal: steak and egg with hash... my partner said it was great but she would have preferred her eggs cooked over easy. I ordered the smoked salmon dish it lacked some seasoning but with the eggs and hash and some requested dipping sauce I thought it was pretty good. Everything on menu looked really good especially the oysters, lamb burger and mac n cheese. I really wanted to sample everything but couldn't. The dinner menu had lots of game options suck as boar, elk, duck, lamb, antelope...I would go back...
