Yosemite RV Rentals

I've rented from Susan and Kelly two years in a row for my trips to Yosemite. Their service was just above-and-beyond that I don't think I'll be renting RV from anyone else when I'm making trips to that area.Susan was very prompt with communication and friendly so everything went smoothly from reservation to picking up and returning. When picking up, they gave my husband and me a thorough walk-through and showed us where everything was and how to use them properly. The RVs were clean and equipped with pretty much everything, from pots and pans to camping chairs to lanterns. They also gave good pointers on how to get into Yosemite. For example, the first time we rented from them it was raining. They advised us to take Route 140 instead of Wawona Road because Route 140 was flatter and safer.I truly appreciate them making my RV rental experience hassle free and my RV camping experience at Yosemite phenomenal. I highly recommend them and glad that I was able to support local business!

Easy and complete experience. We needed extra room for a family trip to our house in FishCamp. We found Yosemite RV Rentals and it is truly a gem. The camper we had was incredibly clean and in great shape. It is also well equipped with everything we needed and more. Pickup and return was super easy and Susan was attentive and explained everything about the rental. She even gave her mobile number in case we had questions. No issues. Perfect long weekend and it would be a fun adventure for any couple or family interested in exploring Yosemite. A great experience plus you minimize the amount of time driving this by renting close to Yosemite.

So I just want to say there are many options to rent a Rv when going to Yosemite. All have extra fees attached and fine print. Many can be quite pricey as well. After doing quite a bit of research I decided to use Yosemite Rv rentals based on availability and price. They are so flexible and kind. I must have called 5 times to ask questions make changes and ask for extras. Every accommodation was met cheerfully and with a kindness I don't see ever day. Thank you Yosemite RV Rentals!

I wanted to write a review before I even got the RV because Susan answered every phone call and was so helpful with all my questions about renting a Rv for the first time. Some places nearby wouldn't even answer their phone lines. Furthermore, when we got there, they kindly went through explaining the RV, had gifts for our boys and had everything possible supplied for us. It made our Yosemite with our young ones very doable and a wonderful memory. Plus the heater works great and the RV is very nice inside.

We scored big time finding Yosemite RV rentals! Susan and Kelly were amazing. They were so helpful. When we ran into trouble, they drove over to our campsite and fixed it all. We loved the recommended bass lake campground too. We can't wait to plan our next adventure with them.

Simply outstanding and highly recommended. Here is why:1. Customer service. As mentioned in another review, this is not a large corporation renting RVs by the dozens. This is a small local business run by a caring couple interested in taking care of their customers. And they do that very well!2. The RV was clean and loaded with everything needed for a wonderful experience. This was our first time renting an RV, and we do not own a lot of camping equipment. However, Susan and Kelly took care of that for us. Additionally, it was spotless and ran great.3. Value. Considering points 1 and 2 above, I expected to pay more than we did. It was my wife's birthday gift so the good value allowed us extra time and extra activities.4. Did I mention customer service? I had lots of questions leading up to our trip and even some during our trip. I always received a prompt and pleasant response. Susan and Kelly really cared about our trip.Thanks Yosemite RV! We will be repeat customers.

I highly recommend Yosemite RV Rentals! I'd never driven an RV before, but it (the 24' winnebago access) was so, so easy to drive, to park (there's a backup camera), and to "work" all the new-to-me stuff (like how to empty the grey and black [toilet] water). Some things that I thought would require work (like how to keep the fridge and freezer cool) required absolutely no work at all. Seriously, Anyone can do this and have a great time at Yosemite Valley's campgrounds. I took my 70-yr old parents, and the three of us were comfortable. I wouldn't try to fit more than four in the RV we picked, if you were wondering. The reasons that made the rental process very easy included Susan's prompt responses to emails and the couple times I called she happened to be available. The RV was super easy to operate, and I felt totally confident after a 45-minute walk-through of all the RV features on the day of pickup. I knew that if anything got a little hairy that I could text her. I didn't have to! (Side note: I'm a Sprint user and could text and call while in Yosemite Valley; no data though). A third reason was Susan's flexibility in accommodating my change in plans (see paragraph below) from 3 nights to 4 nights and then back to 3 nights under unusual circumstances related to the 2018 Ferguson Fire and Yosemite Valley closure. Hope to see you guys again in the future. ------------For those new to the crazy Yosemite reservations, I made some notes for you... read on! I first secured my August 13-14 campground sites in the minute-long booking frenzy on March 15 on recreation.gov -- the booking window was for 7/15-8/14. I emailed Susan with Yosemite RV to reserve the small Winnebago. To meet a three-night-minimum for the RV reservation, I asked Susan to please reserve a spot for us at the Bass Lake RV park that they have a relationship with. Fast forward 30 days to the next reservation window -- April 15, I booked an additional two nights (8/15-8/16) and asked Susan to please cancel the Bass Lake arrangements. I hope someone finds this helpful if you get only a couple nights in each booking window. About the campsite reservations: If a totally green newbie can do it, You can do it! Make your recreation.gov account with credit card on file in advance and "rehearse" the checkout process a couple times. hit refresh starting 2 minutes before the bookings go live. We were able to park a Subaru SUV and the RV side by side with plenty of room to spare in Upper Pines site 197. Shady and next to the campsite toilets/sinks. We drove a longer-than-usual detour route because of the fire-related highway closures. We spent about $65 in fuel to get to the Valley campgrounds via the Arch Rock Entrance and back. I did not drive the RV around the park -- we brought the SUV for that. If you're on the fence about visiting Yosemite in an RV, you should do it! Have fun!

Outstanding customer service! I contacted Susan and was provided with speedy and thoughtful information throughout the duration of our vacation planning. I was truly amazed at the detail and timeliness of replies. If you are seeking to rent an RV near Yosemite, this is the only option you should even consider.While our camping trip is taking us in a different direction, we requested a refund of our deposit and were provided with an immediate refund with no questions asked. It was our first time using a RV and it was better than we could have ever imagined! Susan and Kelly are reliable, friendly, and provided an excellent customer experience since the first time I contacted them. I felt like I was dealing with friends and they were able to make our trip to Yosemite even more special. We rented a 27' RV and it had everything we needed: all bedding, camping essentials (flashlights, BBQ etc), towels, kitchen utensils, mat, chairs, etc. We only needed to buy food at a grocery store that is about 3 miles away and bring our clothes. This company is local and managed by the owners directly. Perfect type of business to make your trip wonderful. We hope to go back soon.
