This RV park is a find! The park is well maintained and owners/managers obviously care. Adequate space between sites. The pool is very clean and at a comfortable temperature, as are the pool area showers. You pay separately for WiFi but it works well and is worth getting. Quiet at night and a restful atmosphere. We will return.

First off, I'm thrilled I didn't check the Yelp reviews when we booked. We stayed at Yosemite Pines RV Resort for 4 nights during Christmas. Drive in at night is a bit rough if you aren't used to canyons, so just be mindful of when you arrive. They had our paperwork for check in left in the front since we drove in after hours and we had no issues getting into our site at night.Off season was perfect. The first 3 nights; there were only 2 other campers in the entire RV park plus the camp hosts. It was creepy at night but so relaxing during the day. Our last night, we saw a few cabins being cleaned and when we got back from town neighbors have arrived. It's an hour to Yosemite NP, and then we explored in Jamestown, and ate locally. We had no issues and everyone was friendly. We did a load of laundry; no issues but the dryer wasn't great. Nothing was ruined, and everything was cleaned.Bathrooms were spotless and cleaned often. Hours were different due to off season, so we didn't do any of the on-site activities.

Good location , clean rooms . The downside is there was NO WiFi where my cabin was located . I needed to get in touch with my family back home and wasn't able to. Also, TV didn't work due lack of internet connection. Was not offered a discount or something for the inconvenience.

They don't have private fence to section the RVs off here. Too open for my liking. Packed during summer days. Swimming pool has it going for them.Internet is not happening here so one has to pay for the internet. They got that figured out as an add on.I've experienced better on glamping.

We actually had a great time at Yosemite Pines. I was a little nervous due to the negative reviews but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised and it exceeded my expectations once I got there. We stayed for 4 nights at an RV spot. Before we got there, we requested a quiet spot away from too many people. They definitely delivered as this was one of the quietest campsites we ever had. We didn't spend too much time at the resort because we came to Yosemite to see Yosemite. It is definitely an hour down to the valley floor from our campsite. We loved that there were things for our kids to do there - there's a pool (it's not heated but our kids still got in), tetherball, playground, and volleyball net. There is a little general store with basics but honestly we went to the grocery store in Groveland that was five min away. The bathrooms were so clean and the showers were a saving grace when our rv floor cracked (bummer). We got full hookups and it was a great deal. No power issues like the reviews had said and we paid for wifi and had amazing coverage. It was overall a great stay. My only critiques - it mentioned that there's a deli and ice cream store. It's only open on thursdays-Saturdays. We stayed Sunday to Thurs so we missed the good stuff. Wish they advertised that on their website. A lot of their amenities are only available on the weekends. But that's the same thing for the town nearby. Yosemite just isn't busy this time of the year. Otherwise, we had a great time!

I just got back from staying at Yosemite Pines for 2 nights. My family and I stayed in the Cozy Cabin with "2" rooms. So the cabin: very small but also very cute my large family and I felt very snug in there lol The small window AC unit was useful it was in the 80's there. There was two ceiling fans but they were very loud. Luckily we all brought ear plugs. The coffee machine provided is the type that needs coffee pods so FYI but they do provide pods for you. Location: I reccommend downloading your map before you get there as service is spotty. I did not have service at the location itself. The amenities included: The pool is nice it closes at 7. There is a deli and general store. There is no petting zoo it is closed. The gold mining section is cute for the little kids. The bathrooms are what you imagine a camp bathroom is like. I would say the most important con is the bathrooms are SO stuffy. We constaly had to just leave the door open. I think the location should invest in some type of ventilation or just have more windows. Other than that, I highly would reccoomnd it here. I am definitely a glamper, so If I come back here I would stay at the luxury cabin so I can have my own bathroom.

As soon as I got there I opened the sofa bed and there was a lot of rat poop everywhere around the bed and the floor, even in the closet.. be prepared, you are not going to sleep at night because you are going to hear weird noises coming from in between the walls.. and the last thing, we got electric issues, they had to come at midnight to fix a one of the light switches because it was making electrical noise.. my kids got sick after staying here, i will never stay here again!!

Friendly hosts, nice amenities, great location! This was our second year coming here. Last year we stumbled on this place because of the fires in NorCal and last minute (24 hr) scramble to find a camp site that had space. The service this year was as remembered. Friendly office and staff. Although the restrooms are worn and dated, the staff are constantly cleaning the restrooms and grounds. It's camping, what do you expect This site has something for every level of camping. We chose this spot again this year for that feature, as some in our group prefer tent, trailer and/or cabins. Great place for those new to camping. Quiet during the week. Location, location, location...it's less than an hour to Yosemite. But if for some reason you can't get a reservation into Yosemite, there are plenty of hikes and activities to do outside of Yosemite as well. Including playing in the river (about a 15/20 min drive away). It is also an easy drive out of the Bay Area about 2-3 hour, depending on where you are located in BA.
