I came here a month ago with a few friends and we loved the tour of the museum. Although tiny, it's absolutely packed with the history of climbers and equipment alike. The sweet lady running the show(her name escapes me at the moment) was more than happy to show us around. I would for sure come back next time I'm in the valley to pick up some stickers/shirts again. If you've seen any of the docs you'll definitely appreciate the museum.

Amazing little slice of Yosemite climbing history starting with the first ascent of Half Dome by George Anderson including one-of-kind artifacts like the pins Anderson forged. Every surface of the tiny space is covered with photos of climbing legends like Jules Eichorn, John Salathé, Allen Steck, Royal Robbins, Warren Harding, and more. The museum also highlights many women climbers like Bev Johnson, Lynn Hill, Beth Rodden, and others. My kids loved climbing the scale model of Yosemite Falls and playing with the gear like old-school cams, nuts, hexes, and bongs. It made a great stop on our way home from the valley.
