Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort

This is wonderful place. Has a small office, common kitchen fully loaded and eating space where you can eat together with everyone, a play area with some pool tables, enough parking spots and multiple bathrooms and shower rooms.We got a small room with a queen bed. It was small but perfect for two people. The only issue we saw the wifi didnt reach our tent, so we had no network!They also have a cafe nearby but it is way too expensive. Theres a spa with a day charge which is great too.Overall great for the price, specially when compared to other places nearby.

I wish I could leave zero stars. They're incredibly unhelpful. My family couldn't make it to our reservation that night and so we arrived in the morning. They gave our hotel away. We had nowhere to stay. They did nothing to help us. And of course, they kept our money. Don't stay here.

Rustic but very good food. Service was also good despite ordering at counter. They have homemade pies that were excellent

Clean and cozy spot. Easily accessible from the highway. Relatively close to Yosemite. Affordable rates with the option to share rooms and bathrooms or have your own private room. The cafeteria is always warm and has decent food all day!

I have stayed here several times and this has now become a traditional part of my Yosemite experience.The Bug is a great place to meet people. They have private rooms, cabins, and hostel style dorms available (with shared bathrooms and kitchen).-There is a bonfire right by the Cafe, which is a great way to end a day and fantastic way to meet other people.-There is also a spa, which has both a public hot tub and private tub rooms and massages available for bookings.-The June Bug café is located in the center, which has amazing food and once again a fantastic place to either people watch or mingle with other guests.

This spot is horrible. You should never stay here! All jokes aside. I love The Bug. The food is always delicious. Fresh and plenty of options. Even some vegan plates. The rooms are a little outdated, but that just adds to the experience. Take advantage of the spa. Especially if you're out exploring the park. The Bug has become a tradition for me and will be for years to come.

horrible. stayed a night to tour the wedding venue, our room was nasty and had a broken bed. Food at the hall was disgusting and extremely limited. booked the wedding because we liked the view. Never heard back from Caroline, then emailed her about it and she canceled the event instead of acknowledging that there had been no communication from her.

No compassion. I can see by the response to other unpleasant customers that they won't really care about your issues. All I was asking for was for a refund for one night after having a bad experience with the ac and overheating. The guy that was there the night of 8/31 was so nice and even tried to fix the ac himself since maintenance wasn't on the property at the moment. He couldn't unfortunately fix it and my husband overheated and got what seemed like heat exhaustion. The ac wasn't fixed until after 9 Pl way past time time we wanted to go to sleep. We had reservations for the park for Sunday that now we won't be able to use since I have to drive us home now. I wanted to put that 135 to a hotel for the night on our drive home. Seeing as the resort was fully booked I can't imagine that $135 would affect them how the $135 will affect us. It wasn't my first time at Yosemite Bug but now it will definitely be my last time and I'm sure they won't care.

Wonderful place to stay with cozy huts and the best cafe in the area with views. There was a discount for boarders using public transit to get there. Food portions are big and hearty after a tired day in the Yosemite area.

This review is for the starlite house.Kitchen is as complete as could be. There is a camp style bbq grill outside. A great range and stove to cook on and the house has good ventilation. Cooking here was a good experience. No dishwasher, I couldn't find A sponge but did find a dish towel and soap.The house has great water pressure. A very large LG TV with Netflix, also there are multitude of games in the cabinet underneath the TV.The beds were very comfortableBats fly over at twilight. I'd stay here again. Pick up a trail lunch or take out breakfast from the cafe starting at 7am, we did not but the convenience is awesome.
