The top floor room, worth the price.
Rooms always look much bigger in person lol! My boyfriend looks so small
Porch view of the sunflower room
Parking right up front.
Unlike a complaint I saw on here, our host made sure we weren't out in the sun. She adjusted everything for me w/o me having to ask.
Ron had to save us from Yosemite late in the evening when we got stranded! One phone call and he was there within 20 minutes.
The view in the evening.
Ron wound tell us the best stories over breakfast by the river
Northern Lights were visible over the river during our stay!
This place has lots of small details that were clearly hand selected and tons of thought went into.
Mexican frittata, sausage, bread with jam & butter, and a fruit starter. Orange juice, coffee, and English tea offered.

Amazing! This place felt like visiting one of your favorite family members as a kid. Beautiful views of the Merced River, warm home-cooked breakfast, fantastic park information, cozy rooms/beds, and the sweetest owners. I felt sad saying by to Ron and Liz because they made us feel so welcome and at home. I'm glad we found this place and can't wait to stay during our next Yosemite trip! Thank you so much for everything.

My husband & I are in our 30s & we had THE best stay at this B&B (our first experience in an actual bed & breakfast). We were able to hike in Yosemite using the YARTS bus system ($30 round trip) & came home to a freshly made bed & homemade cookies every night after hiking all day. Liz made us a delicious breakfast at 8:30am (although she did ask if we wanted it earlier) & we caught the YART into the park at 9:15- hiking by 10am. Our hosts were fantastic, the room (top floor) was HUGE & definitely cool- even on a 95 degree day (those other reviews are ridiculous- Liz had no issues keeping us comfortable- in both AC use & shade for breakfast). On the last day of our trip the YART busses didn't show up for our trip back & Ron rescued us from the park late at night (we were literally stranded in Yosemite). I will say If you are in your 20s, looking to party this isn't the place for you. If you are a recluse not wanting to socialize, this isn't the place for you. But If you have 4 kids & plan on leaving them at home- this is totally worth it. In every aspect. My husband & I played scrabble at night with white claws & listened to the river... we slept in... someone else cooked for us...we hiked all day & came home to a cozy bed & friendly faces. Ron & Liz are definitely "chatty" as some have mentioned in other reviews, but you're staying in their home- so we felt it was all apart of the B&B adventure/experience. We will 100% stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends.

What a lovely place! This was my husband and my first time staying at a B&B, and it was a REALLY nice weekend. Liz and Ron are great hosts, so friendly, and can talk about anything with anybody. We stayed in the Meadow Lily room on the second floor, which is really spacious with a nice deck overlooking the Merced River. In the morning, we saw a great blue heron looking for some fish in the river, and downstairs at breakfast time we saw the two ravens that hang out every day and the hummingbirds. In the evening, we saw the ringtail that comes around, too.Liz gave us a great recommendation for a hike. I'm 6 months pregnant, and it was the perfect difficulty level for us. We drove to Glacier Point (about 45mins) and hiked to Taft Point. On our way back, we stopped at Bridalveil Falls and did the circle through the Yosemite Valley. The B&B is really close to the park entrance, but go to the park early unless you want to wait in line!If the sun happens to be down when you come, you might have a tough time spotting the B&B. it's in the same parking area as the Yosemite View Lodge, but it is tucked behind the building with the pizza place. For being so close to such a commercial hotel, you would never know it once you're on the property. It feels very private.Don't pass this place up. What a gem!

So we didn't actually stay here overnight but with the terrible experience I had with them after booking some dates in May I wasn't going to risk ruining our 10 year anniversary celebration!I had initially booked our stay in May months out like in Jan as I am a planner and that's how I do! There was a conflict with my work schedule so I had to change the date so I called them.. no answer no response. I also emailed them because their preference is email.. no response back. Long story short, after almost daily calls at different times of the day, to ensure that I got a hold of someone but I still didn't, and multiple emails over a two week span I just had to cancelled my reservation. Once I sent them an email to cancel my reservation they finally responded stating they were out of town. They still charged me the cancellation fee which is 10% of the total and $50 for the credit card fee.. ugh wow I didn't know credit card fees cost that much. Whatever, good riddance I got some $$$ back and didn't have to deal with their service.Ugh btw.. welcome to 2018.. has anyone heard of an answering machine stating they are out of town and an auto response email stating that same information? Geez, that's just a poor business practice and a lame excuse.

Beautiful place. Nice people but keepers need help to upkeep place. There age is just making it to hard to see the details they are missing in the upkeep to justify the price. No longer in its prime. Nice balcony w Merced rushing by lots of birds etc. No tv. Sitting in room was very uncomfortable as the antique settee was unbearable. Cheap products lots of rules.

Your paying high end but your not getting high end products. Luz will refill 99 cent store products for you to use w LOTS of notes and rules around. Beautiful place nice people but it's past it's prime. The couple can NOT keep up w the place. Lots of spiderwebs everywhere in your room, rules, notes, cheap products and she will go in your room when your not there. The food is small portions too. Your right at the gate of Yosemite w the river rushing behind you. But place needs lots of work to regain its beauty. Couple running it is mid 70s like I said nice but not what you may think your getting.

Do yourself a favor and stay here! Ron and Liz are the most welcoming, wonderful hosts, the location is amazing and the rooms are so clean and have so much character. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the "Sunflower" penthouse suite and oh my goodness- it is just gorgeous! The room is very spacious, beautiful hardwood flooring throughout, so many windows and so much sunlight! Liz is an artist and you can really see that peeking through in the decor of the room. Every little detail has been thought out, down to the bedding (I fell in love with the embroidered sheets!). Your view is the Merced River just below and a beautiful hill/cliff/mountain directly across from you. The room has a wrap around terrace with a table on each end where you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner while breathing in the mountain air and watching wildlife visit the river below (if you have a camera keep it at the ready!) My husband and I love hiking and Ron and Liz both had great recommendations. If there are any climbers visiting the park, Ron is a seasoned climber and I'm sure he'd have the best recommendations! Staying here truly enhanced our experience and we recommend Ron and Liz's B&B to anyone and everyone we encounter. To Ron and Liz, thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay, we hope to be back soon!!

Stayed there several months ago. The owner was unwilling to leave the AC on at night even though it was extremely hot...telling us to leave the window open...we tried that the first night and couldn't sleep as it was very hot. Next day after we explained it was too hot, she was upset and said her utility bill is too high...yet we were paying $300 or so per night. Second day she punished us by not turning the AC in the morning as she was upset that we were "unsophisticated travelers!"She clearly doesn't enjoy her work anymore...
