Yava Bakery And Cafe

YAVA has got it down! Their food is delicious, fresh, made from scratch and delicious. The restaurant feels like a French cafe but with an extensive food menu. I recommend the lasagne, easily a top plate in Fresno. Super friendly team, great place to dine, I highly recommend YAVA! PS the coffee is so good

Popped into Yava for the first time for a quick morning study session and decided to try their matcha and baked goods! It can get super busy so I would recommend going early to find a seat. I was pretty disappointed with both my matcha and the baked beef roll that was recommended to me. I found the matcha to be mostly milk and lacking matcha flavor. The beef roll was dry and wasn't mixed well as there was pretty chunky. The prices were also very steep ($8 for the matcha, $7 for the beef roll) for the size, flavor and quality of the items. It is a very pretty cafe but I will not be back.

Went here for lunch and it was quite busy however food did not take long. Customer service was great as they answered questions and offered the baked goods as add ons .I ordered a salmon bowl ($19) and a matcha ($8). The food was plated beautifully and everything was fresh however flavor was pretty bland. I didn't hate it however, it was a light and healthy meal. The matcha was not too sweet either. The baked goods and sweets were CHEFS KISS * 10/10 for atmosphere 10/10 for customer service

Popped in here for a quick morning meeting and decided to get some food to go.I love the decor in here. The bright colors and modern design make the place feel sleek, clean, but also cozy in a unique way. I ordered the open face breakfast croissant and an Iced latte.The sandwich was good, but needed a sauce or spread as it was a little dry. The crossiant was the best part of the sandwich. Buttery, Flakey, everything a good croissant should be. The bacon seemed off like it was vegan bacon or turkey bacon, I couldn't put my finger on it. Sadly they forgot my potatoes with my sando, which I didn't realize until I was home. The iced latte was incredible! Seriously, shout out to the barista. This drink was creamy and had great coffee flavor with a slightly sweet finish. Seriously, I was thinking about coffee for the remainder of the day.I definitely need to come back here and enjoy some breakfast on their outdoor patio.

The rose latte is small & mostly sugar. It has only a small taste of coffee.The location is great and the ambiance is very nice. The service is quick. The chocolate cake was too thick.

Probably one of my favorite places to get matcha. I always order an iced rose matcha. They tend to get busy so I try to come earlier in the day to beat the crowd. The cakes and pastries are beautiful. They had a pistachio cake that I loved. I look for it each time I come in. Prices are a bit steep but the quality of the food/drinks makes it worth it.

This may be my new favorite lunch place. First time in I got the Leg of Lamb Dip sandwich and came back today to order it again. However, the cashier suggested the Mediterranean Birria Tacos because it is also with the lamb meat. Think I actually liked this better. We did take the lamb sandwich home to my mom. My wife had the Thai Beef Salad with the peanut dressing on the side. It also was very good. Can't wait to come back and try new things!

Ambiance was good. Place gets packed quick during the weekend so plan ahead if you are trying to get a pastry.

I love coming to Yava! It's such a treat every time. The Suriya French Toast has become my favorite order, however everything I've tried has been good! I love the Spiced Coconut Mocha also. So yummy! Service is always kind and efficient. Restaurant is clean. Food is aesthetically pleasing and delicious!

This place has amazing breakfast food and pastries! The staff were super friendly. We sat outside and it was nice and chill. We will definitely go back!
