Willy’s Phillys

Based on reviews, I came here today and got the Philly Cheesesteak and fries. WOW!!!! The flavor in this cheesesteak was so delicious that I will be returning soon. I haven't eaten such an excellent cheesesteak since I went to San Diego five years ago. The bread is so soft, and that cheese...YUMMY!!!!!!!!!Thank you for sharing your love for cooking!!!

Service is ass. Really was excited to try this place. Haven't got my food yet but if this doesn't knock me off my feet, I certainly won't be back. Willy has no customer service skills. Will leave unbiased review once I taste the Philly. By the way, this is in a gas station. Philly total was $18. ----The Philly cheesesteak is really good . The bread choice is great and altogether comes together really nice.. I wouldn't say that it knocked me off my feet however, it is a really good Philly cheese steak. I guess Willy could've been having a bad day today and wasn't very talkative. Just as a recap. Excluding the service to Philly was great.30 minutes later... I have extreme diarrhea

Food was amazing, my first experience and the service was great. I asked him what he would recommend for a first timer and he helped explain every sandwich they had. The ambiance was nice as well. Definitely will return here for more!

I was driving around and couldn't decide what to eat until I saw Willys Phillys inside a Valero gas station on Cedar & Mckinley in Fresno, CA. This was my first time at Willys Phillys, and it fell short. I hate giving establishments two stars or lower ratings when I find out the cook is the owner's son. The female cashier and the owner's son were so welcoming and nice, but the cheese steak and fries were subpar. 4/5 Good Nice, courteous service from start to finish. 2/5 BadA large Willy's Philly cheese steak with large order fries seemed like a good deal for $20.00, but it had some quality and taste issues. The cheese steak was a bit on the salty side, and there was too much mayo. The quality of the steak was a bit on the low side. Their fries would have been better if they were cooked well done. Most of them were undercooked, but the seasoning was on point. Their bread was also lacking; I believe it was from another vendor and not baked in-house. IDK, some of their 5-star reviews seemed a bit SUS because of how many reviews each person has. Willys Phillys I wish you guys nothing but the best, and hopefully once I try your other location, you guys can earn 4 stars or higher.

I actually found out about Willy's Philly's from Mikey The Foodie Guy. I finally stopped by with my husband and I each got different sandwiches. I am going to be honest, it was awhile ago so I don't remember exactly what sandwiches I got. I was elated that it was only a few minutes from my house. The sandwiches were delicious, but what blew me away were the steak fries. It was seasoned perfectly. It is not a sit down restaurant, you will have to take the food to go because it is in the Valero gas station. The owner was very frank, but kind. I now know where to go for my Philly cheesesteak cravings!

Not only was the food delicious, it was made to order. Everything was fresh, he even fried those French fries right in front of me. The service was amazing. My wait was very short for such a terrific meal.

Good philly cheese steak. I got the #4 large combo for around $18 which includes large Philly sandwich, large fries, large soda. Had a bit too many jalapenos for my taste but still really good. Had one tomato per half of the sandwich, a little lettuce, sauteed onion peppers and supposedly there were mushrooms in there but I didn't taste any and then the beef. The fries are really really good 100%. I'll get the #3 next time but instead of a1 sauce that comes with I'll change it out with the chipotle sauce from the chicken #5. They don't have online ordering and when scanning the QR code on back of business card it just takes you to Google search but doesn't really give any menu unless searching around awhile to find it.

My daughter told me about it as Full Bull and Sams are closed on Sundays. It is in a gas station so we weren't sure what to expect. It was actually clean and good. I ordered the Cowboy cheesesteak? She got the Willy's sandwich. We would go back.

Love coming here on my lunch break as I work across the street. Always welcomed with a smile. Got to know my order quick. Always know what I like and what I don't like. Always asking questions which I like and they always strive to make my visit's pleasant. Their food is always delicious. Especially their new menu items. It's always clean as well when I come in.

I'm only in Fresno for work. I needed to stop before going back to my hotel to grab something to eat after my five hour drive. I saw Willy's Philly's and decided to stop since Philly's are my favorite sandwich. This is honestly by far the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had! The extras added down to the bread used! Delicious!!!! 10/10 I recommend.
