I have used this company for decades. It's amazing that they are so consistent in their customer service. They even moved my son from Kingsburg to Eureka in the middle of a rain storm that flooded the highway. They're so careful,. friendly and fixated on my satisfaction. I can highly recommend White's Moving and Storage based on two deliveries from them.The crews they sent are knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, and strong.I did not select them for my first encounter. I had purchased a bedroom set and the company I bought the set from selected them. I was impressed with the care they took with the delivery. Besides knowing what to do they were polite and nice. Raymond, Chris, and Jerrold made the delivery stress free.My second encounter was great as well. Joe gave me a courtesy call to confirm a time to meet at my membership big-box warehouse store. I purchased the large items I wanted which included a 130 Lb Accent Console. As I exited the store I saw Joe. He and his coworker Raymond (I requested Raymond or Chris for this delivery) took the push carts and loaded up their truck. At my house I had them move an end table upstairs. They delivered the items to four different locations inside and outside. They carefully and skillfully navigated a flight of stairs with the console. They moved a large TV and placed the console in its place. They removed the console from its box. They removed all of the extra packaging from it. They placed the TV on the console. They took the packaging and the large box to dispose it. One less thing for me to worry about.I had a pleasant and stress free interaction and delivery with a smile, I could not ask for more.

My bed from Costco has been sitting there since 3/12 and it's 3/26 with no phone call. I could drive up there and pick it up if I had a phone call. Why would it sit there two weeks before delivery?

Just had the best experience with whites moving and storage. They were by far the best price and came recommended from my realtor. Two guys showed up right on time, worked their butts off (even though they get paid by the hour) they definitely were not dillydallying. I had many antique large heavy pieces of furniture that I had inherited that I needed to move into storage. They wrapped each piece and transported it carefully. I felt an immense weight and stress lifted off my shoulders knowing that they were caring for things that were sentimental to me. I had them take it to my storage unit, once there I realized I could consolidate with another unit that I had. So last minute I asked if they could also move all of the contents from my other storage unit into the larger one. They said no problem with a smile and worked just as fast yet carefully and diligently to combine both units. At the end of the day all of my contents were in one place safe and sound and trust that these two hard-working guys got a big tip! I have more stuff I anticipate on moving in the near future and I will definitely be calling Whites again! Thanks James and Leonardo!!Ps.. you really can't beat the price!

We used White's over the course of two days. The first day was decent. The second day the crew slowed. They lacked motivation and seemed to intentionally slow. One gentleman even decided to sweep the truck, whilst on the clock at an exorbitant rate, and another seemed to good to help or even give instructions. The price was very high and the quality of work was meager at best. The only one truly working was the youngest least experienced kid on the team. If it hadn't been for my son, who came in and had to unload piles of our belongings himself, we'd probably still be on the clock. Bad experience, I give the second star because of the good kid on their team.

When we needed to move into our new house our real estate agent suggested Whites Moving. Before we had a chance to contact them, another friend also recommended them to us. By the time we placed the first call to Whites Moving, no fewer than three people recommended that we hire them to move us. The consensus seems to have been that they were the best movers in Fresno.Well, that says a lot about Fresno - because ultimately our experience was not so good. The woman who helped us make arrangements was very nice and quite helpful. In fact, she was very accommodating when our escrow close date, and therefore our move, was extended twice. The guys showed up on time the day of the move and everything started out well. They were pleasant and professional, seemingly eager to do a good job. The problem arose when they were surprised to see my grandfather clocks. I informed the office that I had two grandfather clocks when I scheduled the move, but the movers knew nothing about them. There was nothing in the paperwork about our clocks, so the guys were not expecting to move grandfather clocks. Subsequently, they did not have anything with which to properly pack the clocks nor did they seem even slightly aware of what needed to be done to prepare them for moving. I wasn't left with many options. I could leave the clocks at the house and hire someone else to move them; that would add expense and I didn't know if I could find someone in time. I could move them myself but I didn't have the equipment to do that. So I proceeded with what seemed to be my only real option. I removed the interior parts, secured the cables, and packed the clocks. When everything was unloaded at the new house we had furniture all over the place and boxes galore. My husband had to work the Monday after our move, so we unpacked only what we needed right away. Over the following week or so we unpacked most of the remaining items, unpacking the clocks about a week after the move. The first, and oldest clock, came out just fine. The newer, significantly more expensive, clock was the problem. On the right side of the clock, the interior glass support strip was disconnected from the side of the clock cabinet. More serious though, was the mechanism. Somehow the center cable came loose and was stuck in the movement. I contacted Whites Moving, telling them what happened. They sent out a couple of workers to inspect the damage. The senior person got the glass back up but couldn't do anything about the cable. He left a claim form with me to get reimbursed for the repair. He also took some time to look at the damage to my living room furniture. Of course I was so focused on the damage to the grandfather clock that I couldn't focus on the coffee table and end table that were scratched. I got the clock repair company out very quickly and ended up paying $350 to repair the damage. I submitted the claim form with the documentation from the clock repair company.Rather soon afterward Whites Moving denied my claim, refusing even to pay the measly $.60 per pound provided for basic coverage. When I asked if I could appeal the denial, if there was a way that I might make my case to be reimbursed for their damage, I was refused. I understand that moving often ends with something damaged, and I expect that a moving company knows that even better than I. Given the reputation I was told Whites Moving Company enjoyed in Fresno, I was certain that they would buck the trend for the moving industry and make good on the damage they inflicted on my possessions. I was, and remain, disappointed. I strongly recommend that folks looking to hire a local company continue looking if they are considering Whites. A company that won't correct - or even acknowledge - their errors is not the company one wants safeguarding a lifetime of belongings.

This was the worst moving experience I've ever had in my life . Not only was the "Boss" Esther very rude she was very unprofessional and would not listen to anything I was saying she was interrupting me the whole time I was trying to explain to her. The movers were 3 hours late to out set appt. After they finished and I went to pay they then informed me they only accept personal checks or cash . Which I had neither on me . I would never recommend this moving service to anyone .

We are so thankful we used White's Moving instead of trying to do it ourselves or going with a bigger company. We were moving 5 hours away from Fresno, and I thought my only option would be a national chain, but they were all so sleezy. My husband and I had moved ourselves several times, but this time we had a toddler and I was pregnant again. I figured it would be worth it to see if a local company could do it. White's was the first one I called, and they could do our long move with no extra cost. They were up front about pricing and stuck to their quoted price and timeline. They delivered all our stuff in one day. I was so thankful, as our toddler caught a stomach bug the night before, and my dad (our main moving helper) was having trouble with his hip. They saved our mental and physical health. They were courteous and friendly as well! I would definitely use then again and highly recommend them to anyone moving within or out of the Fresno area!

WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER! Arranged our delivery to arrive between 1-4pm. I arranged to leave work early so I could be home to receive (not an easy task for a teacher)...they left message at 10:30am because they were "early" and wanted to come by....so they did, and I wasn't home. So, NO furniture, and a waste of my time and money. UNRELIABLE, UNDEPENDABLE, LOUSY SERVICE.
