This place has great pizza! Open most nights. Often have live music. People come here to have a good time. Pool table and incredibly kid friendly. Have a pizza picker called a Stromboli which everyone must try. Order salad every time and each lettuce is fresh & crisp as well as the tomatoes. None of the vegetables ever look sad or tired, I add artichoke hearts & jalapeños and it couldn't be better! Come here for your next pizza night & I promise you won't be disappointed! Brad, Lauren and their help never skip a beat!

We stopped into Waterwheel Pizza and Saloon last night to check out some live music and it was such a magical time. The vibes was low key and warm. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and personable. I loved checking out the vintage photos and media clippings dispersed throughout the dimly lit music/bar portion of the space. I enjoyed watching people play pool in the brightly lit pizza portion of the space.Waterwheel has an authentic neighborhood vibe about it - that invites you in. It's a place which you can come to you by yourself and easily make friends. It was evident throughout my time here - that there is a wonderful group of locals that run this place and there is also a fantastic group of people who patronize this place. If you want to help support the amazing community in Columbia - definitely check out out Waterwheel's casual bar and live music line-up. Be sure to bring some cash to support the musicians and pick up some tasty pizza. Trust.

This is the best place in Columbia. The best pizza, the best music scene and the best staff. I was here when the bad reviews by J M and Cynthia B. were placed and everyone was nice and the situation did not happen that way. Everyone greeted them with kindness, asked how old there infant was, and the bartender greeted them promptly with a menu. They went to the pizza parlor side where there was a woman who was not even drinking, playing pool alone. As she went to make a shot on the pool table, the families small child walked behind and almost "hit in the head by the pool cue". Rather than grabbing the child, the man aggressively grabbed the woman playings pool cue and started screaming obscenities. Both adults proceeded to attack and insult the woman (in front of their children). The owner came from the kitchen and asked them to calm down, accept the apology or leave. They still continued to attack and remain causing a scene, and requested their pizza to go. They requested "Papa Murphy's Style" Take N Bake Pizza and that's what the owner made them. She treated them with kindness they didn't deserve. As they left they still continued to trash talk everyone around the entire way out to the parking lot. Aside from all of this they brought in their own alcohol.I think it's obvious to see the situation that occurred here. The whole thing was handled as best it could have been. These people were out of control and unable to understand how to act in public, let alone a restaurant with their kids.. We don't mind if they don't come back. We appreciate kindness , manners and respect

We were staying in Columbia on vacation, and everything in the State Historical Park shuts down really early, so we came over here, which is actually super close to Columbia. They have a pool table that they don't charge to use. We came pretty late on a Saturday night and were the only ones in the place, so my husband got to teach my son to play pool, which was fun to watch. The gentleman working the counter was happy to charge a couple of extra bucks to my card so my kids could have quarters for the video games. The pizza was obviously freshly made and came out steaming hot. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but decent for the price and probably the best place in town. They aren't kidding with the sign "coldest beer in town." It truly is ice cold, and I think they chill the glasses too. It's a little touch, but it makes a difference. Try the local apple cider, Idigeny. It is fantastic.

AMAZING place. Every time we've visited it's been delightful. Very thankful for the girls working on 8/16/2020 because they were working so hard in the 106° weather and maintained a positive attitude & worked hard to keep everyone happy. Thanks girls!!! We appreciate you and your hard working during this hard time during the heat stroke & Covid. I would suggest the garlic ranch sauce, & the horseradish sauce. Both are to die for!

This is a very good family pizza place. Plenty of beer choices. I wish the street view presence was a little better, as it's almost too hard to see. The owners seem like good guys.

Love this place. Pizza is delicious, people are friendly, live music nights are so fun. Brad and Lauren are the best and have created a warm, friendly, casual and safe place for people to gather and enjoy their time. Naysayers ... maybe they're looking for something different.

The only establishment in Columbia with a pool table, great wings and better pizza, friendly staff and 4 dollar pints. Definitely the focal point of New Town Columbia.

Not one to write a negative review but this was a wild experience. Tried taking the family there and when we even mentioned the drunks bothering our kids to staff, they immediately said our children (under 5) were responsible for not being at our table. Not planning on returning as we were basically pushed out by the drunk patrons and staff. Edit: in response to Britney L yes I had to protect the toddler from getting bashed in the back of the head while at the candy machine by grabbing the butt of the pool cue. In that split second moment I thought grabbing the 21 ounce pool cue butt was easier than jerking on a 35 pound toddler. When the staff did arrive, without any of them being present for the incident, they instantly defended the pool player by repeating she's a regular. But this kind of illustrates how our disagreement was taken. The kids fault not the adult who, if not for me, would have hit a child.
