Wassabi On Fire

My fave teppanyaki spot in Fresno thus far. As someone who has gone to a majority of the teppanyaki places in Fresno, I have to say this place reigns supreme, especially in terms of the chefs! They are always very nice and entertaining. The food is always a HIT. A miso soup and yummy salad to get you started... Typical teppanyaki bacon friend rice, your choice of meat, veggies? Can't go wrong with that. Have come here on multiple occasions and will likely be here again.

When I know what quality sushi is being from LA and frequently to the bay area.. finding sushi in the central valley is looking for an oasis in the desert. It was decent. They were pretty large in size, but that's only because there was SO MUCH RICE. My friend and I got speciality rolls including the booty booty, spicy scallop, and another roll I could not remember the name of. But the scallop didn't taste right, it was more chewy than it should have been. The service was good and there is a decent amount of parking because it's located in a plaza.

My husband and I were craving bento lunch boxes. We were also celebrating an accomplishment. We decided to get takeout from Wassabi On Fire. We have had it before and really liked their lunch. We got there the minute they opened. They took my order and about 30 minutes later our lunch was ready. I got the fried rice, raw tuna, and California roll. It came with a salad and miso soup. My husband got the white rice, cooked salmon, and raw tuna. His also came with miso and salad. Sadly the salad didn't have very much dressing. The fried rice had a lot of black pepper but was pretty good. The tuna was fresh and the California roll was tasty. My husband said he enjoyed his food too. However, it was $50 for both meals. It was pretty pricy for not much protein. If we crave them again we may come back as not very many Japanese spots make these in a bit of a healthier way. But I think we rather eat sushi.

Always a fun time and good meal.......And we had fun company at our table. But....our waitress NEVER returned to check our drink & water re-order (had to ask the chef for bar service) ....and then, he completely forgot to make and serve our bean sprouts! (We even saw the tray of spouts on his cart) Our other guests were noticeably disappointed .... because it was one of their favorites entrees.......sh%t happens but sadly on the night of my birthday......:(

I have been here a handful of times and the food has always been good. The only things I don't like about this place is that it's kind of loud and you can't make a reservation for the dining room. We were a party of 7 so we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night to hopefully beat the rush and not have to wait forever for a table. We were seated pretty soon after we put our name in. Our server was pretty attentive and helpful when he got to me because I couldn't decide between a few rolls. The one he suggested (The Climax) was really good so I was happy with my choice.

Still my favorite teppan / sushi spot in town. The menu is pretty large and the cocktails are good. The restaurant and restroom is always clean and the staff is nice. My go to orders are always tuna and salmon nigiri and smells like my ex.

What can I say the food never disappoints the service is always A1 the atmosphere nice and family friendly. Had an amazing fire show too.

Had an amazing experience at Wasabi on Fire! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. Our hibachi chef, Dua, was fantastic--super talented, entertaining, and kept us engaged the entire time. The steak and seafood were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were spot on. The service was also top-notch, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a great hibachi spot with excellent food and entertainment, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

I love coming here. The staff are great and the food is amazing. The place is clean and comfortable. They have the best fried rice! I've had the sushi and teppanyaki. Both are really good, just depends on what you are in the mood for. Some chefs put on a good show when you choose to do Teppanyaki. I definitely recommend coming here.

My favorite place in Fresno for Sushi, and I've been to a LOT of them.Really really good!I especially like the Yoda roll, the Climax, and the Orange Blossom.
