We are gutting our entire house. VCTD are amazing! We are in the process of having our countertops installed. They are very responsive, excellent customer service compared to others we have dealt with! Especiallly during covid labor shortages and back ordered supplies. Couldn't recommend them more!

Very disappointing!! I contacted them via phone to inquire about custom cabinetry and spoke to a very pleasant lady who stated they would be able to do my project. I went down to their shop and met with a gentleman going over all the dimensions and accessories. He stated he'd get me a quote but would be out of the shop for Christmas ( this was 2.5 weeks before Christmas). 10 days later I phoned asking if the quote was ready was told not yet but they'd phone me when it is. Fast forward 3 more weeks and still nothing. Called left a message, no return call. Called again and was told they have people out and can't take on my project. Super frustrating since I have waited 5 weeks for a Quote. If they would have been honest with me in the beginning I could have gone somewhere else and likely had it all done. Instead we have left the walls open because they told us they would need additional supports put in the walls and not knowing exactly where and what they would need we have been at a standstill waiting on a quote all to be told they don't have time. Nice!!! Why buy local??? Why go with a small business?? Should have gone to the big box stores and not wasted my time!

Be aware that unless you have a very large or very high-end project for them, they'd rather not bother with you. Their representative came out to our home, took measurements and discussed ideas. We had five rooms that needed cabinets. Promised to get us a quote within a few days. We waited. And waited. And called numerous times. Never once had a call returned. As far as I'm concerned, they wasted weeks of our time. Honesty is the best policy. If they'd rather not do the job, they should let the customer know right away.

What a glaring difference with our experience than the previous post. Visalia Counter Top Design just fabricated/installed our kitchen and master vanity granite, and I would highly recommend them. When we first met with them, we were unsure of granite or quartz counters. They showed us several choices and gave us a great understanding of the two stones. They gave us a list of granite yards in Fresno. We ended up buying from Pacific Shore Stones in Fresno; and there is a great working relationship between these two. Shelly (office) was awesome to work with, as was Ray who met us at our house to go over our measurements. When our granite was delivered, Visalia Counter Top Design never hesitated to welcome us and even pulled our 2 slabs out so we could color match with our floor/cabinets. We met Johnny in the shop who showed us how the pieces would be cut and placed, and then the installers led by Edwardo did an amazing job. We are very happy with their workmanship and how they assisted us along our journey. We highly recommend Visalia Counter Top Design for your next project. I'm so excited of my new kitchen countertop. A new product, I'm the 4th to have installed. The young man who came out to make the template, cut and installed was so patient. He took the time to listen and explain, in full detail, of what the process and showed me(I'm a visual person)what it will look like. He has Great Customer Service experience. I wish I could remember this gentleman's name. My hat is off to you.

I give only one star, they came out then decided after not returning our calls that it is not worth there time. They said they had too much business, but that was not true. Do not hire them.

If it were possible to give no stars I would.Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I worked with both Shelly and Shawn to find the type of countertop I wanted and to get it ordered they were very nice at first, after I put down a 50% deposit to have the materials ordered their attitude completely changed. Firstly the installation was delayed more than 3 weeks due to the original order coming in wrong. Once my materials were reordered it took multiple phone calls to the office to get an install date. On the date of the install they were more than 3 hours late and were extremely rude on the phone when I voiced my concerns about interfering with the arrangements I had made with work. Once the job was completed my stove did not fit in the countertop cut out and it took me sending an email and again making multiple phone calls to get a response and have the installers come out to correct. I requested a very small revision to the final invoice for lost wages due to the 3 hours I missed of work waiting around for them to arrive and I was met with a response from Shawn that my request was "unacceptable" and they would be placing a lien on my home and notifying the credit bureaus. These people act like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to bring them business. It is unimaginable to me how this small business has survived with such utter disregard for their customers satisfaction. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually cares about their customers and providing decent customer service.

I ordered countertops through Lowe's and they were hired to install, they installed undermount sinks and both have fallen off once, and one that they already fixed has fallen off a second time, they never answer the phone and won't call you back, it has been a nightmare dealing with this company, I would avoid them and take your business elsewhere

I have had a great experience with Visalia Counter Top Design and am totally satisfied with the work that was done. The end result exceeded my expectations and I have a beautiful kitchen to enjoy for years to come. The project started with Shawn coming to measure for custom cabinets. He worked with me to design exactly what I wanted. Those who installed the quartz countertop and Weylan and Tony who worked together to install the custom built cabinets were professional and very pleasant to have in my home. They were perfectionists who paid attention to every detail. I highly recommend Visalia Counter Top Design.

Great customer service and my kitchen looks better than I imagined it could. Ray (an owner) is helpful, knowledgeable and made trips to my house to assist his crew in tear out and installation. You don't see many owners assisting employees with the dirty work, which impressed me. The entire crew was efficient, clean and easy to work with. I have wanted to redo my kitchen for years but I was overwhelmed at the thought. Visalia Counter Tops made it a seamless easy process, I wish I would of done it a decade ago. I have recommended Visalia Counter Tops to many coworkers and friends and will continue to do so. They are great to work with.
