Visalia Convention Center

A friend of my husband and I gave us free tickets to SpringFest Home & Patio convention. I've never been to a home and garden showing. And I thought it was a great opportunity as a homeowner to check it out and see if we could find a company/ get ideas for ongoing projects/ remodeling in our home. We attended today, the last day of the showing. Parking was free in the parking garage across from the convention. The convention was huge. They had vendors indoors and outdoors. Everything was set up neatly and organized. We had a great time. Talking to vendors and getting some freebies. Definitely a great experience. We also bought tacos for lunch and they were delicious. The convention and restrooms were clean and everyone was so nice and welcoming.

Nice location. Here for the Boots, Brews, and Bacon event. This is the first one INDOORS for a Beerfest - I'm there!!! Gave this 4 stars for the fact that it was Indoors and in the evening from 6-10pm. Good variety of beers and local eateries for the Bacon bites competition. For the 1st hour it was comfortable to walk around. Into the 2nd hour-ish, vendors started running out to food and some beers. The music was okay, but drowned out to the thirsty crowd and conversations. Hopefully next year they will have larger aisles for people to comfortably walk, get beers, and more places to sit or eat at (standing tables). A few more food options would have been ideal as well. All in all --- a good starter festival, I tried local food, local and non local beers, and I now have this experience under my belt.

Wonderful plaz coujin got married here in big hall. So beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The vending machine was lit. Much love from India . I would sacrifice my life for Pakistan

Thank you VCC for providing space for the Christian quartet concert festival on May 2nd- 4th, I had such an awesome weekend there for my first time in that city. God bless and hope to visit next year!

I really like the setup here . It was nice. Not crazy chaos like other places food was expensive so I suggest packing snacks.

They have okay parking arrangements but have been pretty pricy on all the arrangements. Well drink nothing special

I came here for a concert in one of their halls. The line to get in was long but it went fast as security was hassling anyone and the line moved quickly. When I stepped inside it was really nice and air conditioned (hot night), but as soon as I got into the hall where the concert was taking place it was really hot. I endured the heat because I traveled from Fresno to Visalia for this concert.

Gun show was awesome. The convention center is a nice place to legally get ideas on how to get weapons to protect you and your own.

I had paid for tickets to see the magic men show last night and was very disappointed with the entire venue. First we bought our tickets in advance and had them at will call to avoid the line. That part was OK as I know this show brings people from all over the valley. We drove from Fresno for my friends birthday celebration. We were directed to seats after showing the usher our tickets. There was 6 of us and we sat down. 3 of us got up to go get drinks and when we came back, the had made our group give up our seats because there was a no holding policy. So as you can imagine I am very upset at this point. But a girl came over and then we explain what had happened. Her and another girl that were directing people to their seats said that the manager was hiding in the bathroom because she was overwhelmed with all the people in attendance and had left them out here to do her job. THAT was upsetting to hear. So they gave us new seats. The show said 7 on the tickets and it is now 830 and the show had not started. OK fine. Well at 930 the show still hadn't started - a security guard came over and asked us to move. I asked him why and he said because we were not wearing the appropriate wrist bands to sit in the seats - mind you hes the one who ushered us to the seats after the first debacle. After I tried to reason with him, he said we needed to move or he was going to escort us out. I asked to see a manager. I went to the front and spoke with her and told her the issue and now being very frustrated and upset I asked for my money back. She said she would go resolve the issue and be right back. 25 minutes later she had not returned. So I asked one of the girls to go find her. I also over heard some workers explaining how the venue had been overbooked and some women were having to leave because there were no seats. While I did see employees running around adding more chairs to each aisle I cannot confirm if women were actually leaving. But that is concerning as it was more than likely OVER capacity in the venue and now have a risk of a fire hazard. The manager has now returned and said she was unable to issue us a refund because the venue was not responsible for our loss - the entertainer was. I asked for her name and contact information in which she told me no. At this point I am very tried and upset that this whole scene has happened and just want to go home. So not only will I never be coming back to this venue, I will be posting about my experience on other websites as well. My loss of money and time, and the way the manager and venue handled this situation is embarrassing for them as a business.

Just had a banquet dinner here and I ordered the salmon and it was un-edible. The salmon was so over cooked it was jerky. The potatoes and vegetables were cold. This was a $56.00 dinner.
