Daughter in laws mother and aunts chose this venue to hold her Baby Shower. Approximately 30 people attended the soiree on a Saturday in October @ 11:00am.From Olive Street there is not signage to know that this venue is behind the tall trees. There is street parking, which is free next to the venue. If you are wearing heals, know that you need to very careful walking to the entrance as the brick and dirt entrance is not well maintained and you could fall. I thought the yard could use some sprucing up. Yes, it is fall and leaves are falling, but maybe trim the bushes and plant a few perennials?Seating was nice but a little cramped and spread out. We were at round tables of 4 with one rectangular table of 8 in the center of the room. So during the meal, you only socialized with the people at your own table unless you got up and walked across the room. Salad was served: wilted spinach with a few dry walnuts and tasteless balsamic. Was there bread on the table? Lunch came: fruit in a round plastic dish in the center of a round china plate with two small croissant sandwiches and two tea sandwiches on the same plate. The fruit was edible once you moved aside the dollop of whipped cream that did not look fresh. Next I tried the tea sandwich which was a sad fresh cranberry atop cream cheese on plain white sandwich bread. I could not bring myself to take a bite of the sandwiches in the croissant bread. The tuna salad look overly mayonnaised and the meat on the other sandwich did not look inviting. The servers were friendly and smiled quite often.Apparently we were supposed to provide our own plates and flatware for cake serving. We were not prepared for this, and the venue accommodated, not sure if there was a charge involved.I've read the positive comments on this venue and I think at one time it was probably a place of beauty and excitement, but on this day, I did not see it.

We came here for my cousins bridal shower and I had never even heard of this place before this event! It is a secret gem. Kind of hidden if you aren't sure what you are looking for, but such a precious site to see when you arrive. The house is soo beautiful inside and out and very vintage old school looking. Delicate details all around and they tried to keep the vibe very authentic to the setting they want to display. The bridal shower was beautiful, two walls of open windows and beautiful views outside. A rock bar that was nice and the room was spacious and accommodating to all of us. I eventually heard that my mother in law tried to have my baby shower here but it was a bit pricey. We overheard some of the prices and it does seem a bit pricey for the space and time, but it was really nice when we were here and beautiful. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future events.

5 years ago my nephews baby shower was held at Vintage Rose, and I remember it being so beautiful! Very classy and Vintage lol! Fast forward 5 years later, and my daughters 1st birthday was supposed to be held here. And all of it's magic was just how I remembered it! Due to this virus, we are unable to hold her party there now, but we will definitely be throwing future events at Vintage Rose! It's owner is a very lovely lady who is very understanding, as well as an amazing caterer! We love Vintage Rose!

We got married here on February 7, 2015. We only had our ceremony here and had our reception at a hotel. My husband and I booked Vintage Rose only 7 months before our wedding because we had booked Golden Palace a year in advance. Unfortunately, Sunny of Golden Palace was very unaccommodating and it wasn't a good fit so we were in a bind since we really wanted to keep our date which was also our anniversary. Angie, the owner of Vintage Rose was a sweetheart though. I was happy with the end result as Vintage Rose is more appealing to the eye and our pictures from Daniel Street of Soulmates Photography turned out beautiful. Angie referred us to our wedding planner, Amy Mares of The Event Planner and knocked a hundred off because we rented our own chairs and did not charge us for rehearsal. If we had extra $, I would have used her gorgeous sun room with the wall of windows for cocktail hour. I wanted to get Teazers, down the street for my husband to be before we got married, but everyone was rushing me so I didn't and I still regret that to this day. My advice for brides is to enjoy the small things and also don't forget to stop and enjoy your day. I loved my ceremony. My advice for this ceremony is if you are reciting your vows, ask your DJ before hand if he has a microphone because it is on the corner of a very busy street and your guests most likely won't hear you recite your vows over the cars driving past. Also, if you are taking pictures, don't take pictures on the south side if you don't want the sign of the gas station across the street in your pictures. Other than that, great venue and great host.

The Vintage Rose is a beautiful venue . I have attended several parties there and I love the fact that they have a varity of teas on a beautiful three tear crystal platter. They served everything on china and crystal , the service was great and ambiance was amazing . I give them 5 stars and recommend them highly .Obviously the previous review wasn't useful, to think I would trust a review from a person that has this on their title "Eat my flesh and drink my blood?" Really. I wouldn't trust a business review from a person of such little stature. Personally I have attended the attend an event at this venue where they served tea bags on because they follow what the customer prefers. If anything you should be blaming whomever event you attended not the business so "Tsk Tsk" to yourself.

I originally booked this venue to Renew our Marriage Vows, however it did not work out for that instead we kept the date and my husband and I and our two son's did a Family Photo Shoot and it was the BEST decision we made!! Angie (the Owner) is absolutely awesome and flexible and just so helpful every step of the way. The photo shoot for our family turned out better than I would have ever expected. The VENUE is absolutely gorgeous and it's literally a "hidden treasure" here in Fresno. Our pictures are so beautiful because of the LOCATION. I could not be happier with the Family Photo Shoot and ALL the beautiful pictures taken throughout the location IN and OUTSIDE the Facility NOT one picture taken had a bad background because the Vintage Rose is such a beautiful Location and the pictures for my family and I are captured for a lifetime. Thank you Angie and Vintage Rose!!!

Angie is amazing to work with. The client is her priority and she accommodated us, she was helpful, and made sure our day was nothing short from perfect. The venue is well taken care of, its classy, romantic, and original. I recommend visiting the Vintage Rose for a tour before checking out other locations!

We spent many hours researching a venue for our friend's bridal shower, and we decided that Vintage Rose fit the bill. We were exceedingly happy with the service and experience provided by Vintage Rose. First, we planned the entire event from Sacramento, which went seamlessly, with the help of the event planner Angie and caterer Norma. They provided details and arranged set up of everything from decorations, dining settings, meal preparation, bar service, and even customized in-house floral arrangements that were above and beyond our expectations. The venue is incredibly charming and attractive. It set the perfect tone for an April bridal shower. The table settings were elegant and classy. The meals were delicious. The service staff was spectacular. They attended to our guests with the utmost care. We would recommend this venue to anyone considering a bridal shower or special event who is looking for a quant, charming, outdoor and indoor experience.

Absolutely astonished to find a "tea parlor" serving tea bags. Disgraceful. We also had to serve ourselves the tea bags from a basket and the hot water from a chrome kitchen device one would see in a diner. Everything else was very nice. But tea bags? Really? Tsk tsk!

Angie (the owner) is the best!! This venue is darling and she adds that special touch. It is a great location in the Tower District of Fresno for a small intimate wedding, shower, or party. Joe keeps the grounds well maintained and in order. They are easy to work with and very affordable. I would highly recommend this venue for your next event.
