The food was great and the staff was also very good. We all had breakfast except for my wife. Food price was current with most diners

I absolutely love the oatmeal pancakes ! They're so delicious and seriously melt in your mouth. It's definitely one of my favorite places to hit up when I'm craving pancakes. While I usually grab them to go, I've dined in before, and the service and atmosphere are always fantastic!

The crab benedict was stellar! I would definitely get it again if I came here. Hashbrowns were ok but soaked in too much oil for me. Would have gotten sweet potatoes fries if I knew they had them.

Service was horrible by Leila, she charged us for adult sodas when my two kids ordered kids' meals, which comes with free soda. When questioned, she became hostile toward me, told me, "Can I finish? ", rolled her eyes, and grabbed the ticket off the table and said do you want me to take the sodas off? Of course I do they didn't even drink half of the sodas. She then went to register laughing with her coworker. When the coworker returned with corrected ticket I asked for the manager, she stated there is no manager there until Thursday who's name is Myko(not sure on spelling).

Came in on a Monday morning, place was pretty busy. Waiter took a while to take our order, but our food came out pretty quickly. Yummy pancakes, and good hot coffee. Fast casual/diner ambiance.

I have to rewrite review because this was delicious. There was a place in Oakdale that had the best tasting and priced steak sandwich but after pandemic they discontinued it .We have only had breakfast here and you can check out other reviews for that and we come here almost weekly just for that but in a rainy late, late day we could not have the French toast as it was past 1:30 pm so I tried the steak sandwich. Here is the problem and dilemma now..............This was supposed to be our breakfast spot but now it's also our lunch spot so we might be coming here for breakfast and then can back later in the day for lunch.Best steak sandwich with a garlicky bread, great fries and a couple of onion rings in the side to boot.

Almost gave this place 4 stars because of how small the seats are . You can fit 3 people in a booth, but it feels cramped. However , a small business needs to maximize profit , so I get it. Also, the menu is confusing, but you get use to it.Now, I have it 5 stars because it is a small place that does food so well. Everything is cooked perfectly , and taste amazing. You can get steak and eggs at any diner for the same price , but this place never misses. Never have to send the plates back. The bread made me drool. Warm and and taste so fresh. Had the French toast and wheat, and it was thick cut doughy soft bread.Highly recommend this place for a date or with the family .

I order breakfast takeout from them and they've gotten our order correct every single time. Portion size is good, food is great and staff is friendly.

Terrible. We usually go to the one on mchenry which is excellent by the way from service to food 10/10. We were in the area and starvingggggg so we decided to stop by this location and let me just say it was the worst decision we could've made. $60 spent on trash worthy food. My mom and I get the same dish every time. The Chicken Breast Dinner with Baja sauce. The chicken here was extremely chewy and dry. The chili beans had no meat at all not even a tiny piece it was pure onions tomatoes and beans. I ordered a side of corn bread paid $6 for 2 pieces that were so old and dry. Moms baked potato was hard as a rock for most part. Toasted bread wasn't toasted maybe just heated up if that and slapped with some butter. Mashed potatoes was probably the best part although the Gravy didn't taste fresh either. Overall paid $60 for trash food and mediocre service. Won't be returning to this location. If you want great food, and quality service please go to the Velvet Grill Location on Mchenry road.

Evidently the cooks can't read requests from the customer. I asked for extra crispy fries and my daughter asked for very light mayo on her Club sandwich. Needless to say my daughter's sandwich came ladened w mayo .. i mean squishing out the sides.Unfortunately this isnt the same restaurant from pre-COVID days.
