A well-stocked supermarket with all the essentials. Lots of fruits and veggies and a taqueria in the back serving tacos, burritos, birria, chicharron, menudo, tortas, quesadillas, quesabirria, etc. I normally will order a carne asada burrito with salsa roja and it is delicious.Taqueria orders are typically ready pretty quickly, though they are short-staffed at the moment. You pay for your food at the taqueria instead of at the main checkout. Orders come wrapped in foil and are placed into plastic bags.There are also other yummy staples available here like pan dulce, which comes pre-bagged near the parking lot entrance. Lots of items that you won't find at Savemart that you might need for traditional dishes. And if you need pinatas for a party, they also have a good selection of those. A really solid store that I enjoy shopping at - especially for the taqueria.

I sent my daughter into the Valley food market in Ivanhoe and they charged my card $6.49 for a 15oz. of coffee creamer although on the shelf said it was $3.99 but the cashier said that the price on the shelf was wrong of course I returned it no way am I paying that much and my other daughter told me that she shopped there and had the same problem with more than 1 item but she released it and didn't purchase those items I'm on food stamps so I have to budget on how much to spend and I really needed creamer for my coffee and I don't have the gas to go back to town so I will just use regular milk am I wrong isn't what they're doing false advertising I will starve before I shop there again

Pretty large selection of items. Good prices. Big parking lot. Friendly service. Glad we stopped here because we didn't see much else en route to Sequioa National Park (everything at their general store was overpriced naturally). My one major gripe was with the produce. It was in pretty bad shape - wrinkly and definitely not shelf material.

Took my 3 kids to eat dinner (preteens) the lady working said they only had carnitas... So I ordered 3 student deals. A burrito or torta and a soda... Things looked to be going good I hear her chopping carnitas .... I add 6 taco with everything salsa on the side... She hands me tacos first. I look... Douced in green chili... Not a 1 oz ladle full... A 4oz ladle full... I let her know and she just stared at me... She asked if I still wanted tacos and tried to wrap them back up... I told her no...you put too much chili on it ... she looked me straight in the face and said $20 for burritos and torta... Ok fine you don't want to fix my order... Cool .. I'll go get tacos at Ortega's... I pay and the kids remind me about their sodas...so I ask for them.... She tells me the machine doesn't work.... So she sold me the combo I paid for it... And they didn't even have what I paid for... Torta was soggy all beans...and chili...Tons no lettuce or avocado... My kids like hot stuff but seriously had a hard time eating their food cause of all the hotsauce. Just lazy.... She didn't even cook the carnitas on the hot top ... Just made a soggy nasty mess... Totally a waste of money ... You won't get what you want. Oh and the manager was stocking shelves next to us the whole time and still did nothing. Don't waste your time.... Plenty of better places to go.... I used to love this place... Not like it used to be.
