I really like this thrift store. So far it has been my go to. I had only been able to go for about 30 mins here or there since they close earlier and I work during the week. I went on a Saturday and they had a crazy tag sale, I got so many shirts for just $1.00. It's pretty organized although they have so many clothes items, it's kind of hard to get through it all in one trip. Also, some of the items in womens that were in "large", but they were actually large in kids sizes. I bought a sweater thinking it would fit and then I realized it was a girls sweater when I got home. They have a pretty good variety of items, but could def use a little more space. The staff is nice and overall, I think this place is the best thrift store in the area. Highly recommend.

Love the store . Always friendly . Prices can be little high . They have a lot of sales.

This is long over due review. This is out in the middle of nowhere and if I am near by I always make an effort to drop in. If you can see passed the rundown downtown this little shop has alot to offer. I understand the financial struggle for some is real. However I find the prices reasonable! Especially if its of a rare item.Now, if you like to dress to impress then you might want to visit. This is where I found some amazing pieces. To me the prices are reasonable but everyone is different. I found an adorable tea pot and faux coat. This is one of my favorite thrifts in Cali.The actual shop is organized and it smells clean. Easy parking

I love this thrift store in Tulare. I feel like they are an anchor to the struggling downtown area. However, my experience today has left a sour taste in my mouth. I was scolded like a 6 year old by one of the workers there for taking a pair of boots that was not yet price unbeknownst to me. I was told to never ever do that again in a rude and condescending way. I apologized and continued to shop but after hearing this same person talk down and scold some children in the store I couldn't hold back. I told her that I didn't like the way she talked to me or the children shopping in the store. She then told me that I was the rude one and that she was tired of dealing with people like me. Hm....what was that suppose to mean??? I again told her that I didn't appreciate her talking to me and felt after that comment that she was profiling me ( I am Hispanic). Then she felt the need to tell me that the "colored" lady shopping in the store at the time liked her. Omg....at that time I just had to get out of there. I understand that this person is the sister of the manager so I doubt that this will be addressed. I have worked in retail off and on in my 57 years of life and know that you should NEVER speak to or point your finger at a customer in such a matter. It's too bad that this person works at Christian base store. I felt like I was treated in a very NOT Christlike way! I will end on a positive note though, The other ladies working there are ALWAYS very friendly.

A must stop when I'm in Tulare. Always well organized and clean. No odd odor that you find in some thrift stores... I always seem to find a few high end pieces for next to nothing. Can't beat that!

Very neat and organized, nice friendly staff and the prices are not that bad at all. I scored a vintage "Betsy Johnson" for 8 bucks!!! The furniture is over priced, but I guess the prices on the clothes make up for that.

I really like this thrift store even tho most things are way to over priced but I just would like to say that the workers are very rude & not helpful at all. I'm Hispanic & well today I was treated very poorly & looked at very rude. Yet they talk to people super sweet that are the same as them. I don't understand how yall 'Christian' & don't treat people the same way. I really wish I can give this 0 stars!!!

Great location! Staff are always friendly and passionate about their work. They have some good finds with quality stuff!

I'm still looking for a fringe skirt. Today, mom had a doctor appointment. While I was waiting for her and my brother in North Visalia (Riggin & Dinuba), I called Used Treasures to ask if they had one. The lady says, 'we're not in the habit of checking the racks for people who call. It's best if you just come in.' Me: And, you close at 4:30? She confirms, 'Yes, 4:30". I take the 198 to the 99 down J St as fast as I can without killing anyone or getting a ticket. I park at 4:27 and the doors were locked!! The staff is standing behind the counter staring at me! I couldn't even go in to find out if they even have any!! I guess, if you work, they don't want your business! It may be a great place but you can't really tell from the outside.
