Ultimate Salon

My star is not for the Salon itself. The workers at the salon were very helpful. Every time I went in they were always so nice. They get all the stars possible as far as I'm concerned. My complaint is with Betsy Baker, the electrolysis technician. I wanted to forewarn people before they go to her for services. She is very rude and did not make my electrolysis experience a pleasant one. She never made me feel comfortable. She even embarrassed me for following her instruction. She told me to remove all clothing in the treatment area. I even asked again "everything?" and she reassured "yes everything". She was then shocked when I followed her instruction. So after a few sessions, I mentioned that I would be more comfortable with the bare minimum of my clothing as she treated the area and she replied with "yea well, most people do". That made me feel very uncomfortable because she made me feel like I was some sicko that just liked to remove my clothes. Ugh lady you told me everything! Sorry for being literal. One another note, I missed an appointment I had with her and showed up two weeks later (my phone had an update and mixed up my calendar appointments). Mind you I had no idea this little switcharoo happened in the first place so I really did think that I was at my appointment as scheduled. Anyway when I showed up and she wasn't around so I texted her with "hello Betsy, did our appointment get rescheduled? I am here for our 6:30 appointment. Did you forget?" At this point she was not answering my numerous calls. No Reply. I texted again and then she replied with "our appointment was two weeks ago, did YOU forget?"...uh so rude and it was apparent that there was some kind of mix up. One, why wasn't I contacted to reschedule or at least a follow up text "hey I see you didn't make it to our appointment, want to reschedule?" or something. Two, so if I didn't contact her that day by mistake apparently, would I have been contacted at all? Is she in the habit of just taking people's money and not following up with the client. It's a different story if the client knowingly doesn't want to continue services after they paid but I was clearly interested in proceeding. I then had no communication from her for another two weeks to reschedule. And when I returned she gave me attitude. As if I purposely missed my appointment. She was just not friendly at all. I do not recommend her services to anyone.

I have been going to Jessica for a while now and it doesn't matter what I tell her to do with my hair, she gets it every time! Plus she is very sweet and affordable! Love this place! Will definitely keep using Jessica for all of my hair needs!!

It's a cute little place but I got my nails done by sandy and it had to be my worst full set of nails I've ever had. She told me shes been doing nails for 20 years or so, that's when I noticed that all her nail techniques were so old! She layered the acrylic on the center of the nail making a big bump in the center leaving the rest of the nail with a thin layer and when I told her I didn't like the bump she said that's what's supporting it, I said yeah but I don't like the way it looks so she filed it down adding no extra acrylic! 6 of the nails snapped within the next 3 days. She didn't buff them cuz she said the gel polish wouldn't "stick" so when she painted them matte black you could see the horrible filing lines. The biggest waste of $50.00.

I would highly recommend Margie she's kind professional and affordable. She's been a hairdresser for 30+ years. She listen to what you want and asks alot of questions. Highly recommend MARGIE!!

I have been getting color & cut with Lydia for over 2 years. I have long hair. When I describe how I want my hair cut she gets it right every time! And her prices are fair. I've seen her cut hair on men & she knows what she's doing. Wish I found her years ago.

Becky is the best!! I always walk out feeling great about my hair! She's very talented, sweet, and thorough. You won't be disappointed!

Been here twice. The first time was great! The lady was nice. I think her name was Mary (the owner). She knew exactly what I wanted. But I didn't remember her name, so I didn't ask for her the second time. My mistake.I had Margie the 2nd time I went there. Meh. Just because she was really nice, doesn't mean she gave great service. I had to keep telling her that my hair was cut uneven. 4 different times. smh. by then, my hair didn't even look like the picture. she said she's been in this industry for 30 years, i think that may have played a role in it too. 30 years=just don't really care.

Went to Jessica for the first time today, Told her what I wanted, She nailed it ! Very Happy with my results!
