I don't know why but, WHY ARE THE TACOS SO GOOD! Me and my family always go here for some nice tacos! Everyone who works at the area always seems happy and nice. I would definitely recommend!

The meat counter is fantastic. Fresh meat (today I saw a wholesale guy carrying in half a pig--the left half--and it was *not* frozen) and in a case against the wall behind the meat counter is the best chorizo in town.The hot food counter? Not so much. Great rice and salsa but the frijoles were actually terrible and the carnitas were so bland.Still, if you only come here for the chorizo, you won't regret it...but you really need to try the rest of their meat selection.

Every time we go to Madera we stop by Trujillos to grab some meat. We grab about a pound and a half of marinated chicken and marinated beef. I also grab a tub of guacamole and salsa from the fridge. The meat is inexpensive and really yummy! The beef makes for awesome carne asada tacos or fries. The guacamole is chunky and super lemony. This is a pro in our house. The salsa is also roughly chopped and really delicious. It's not too spicy, but it packs a lot of flavor. What is odd is that the ready made tacos are not my favorite. They taste too salty and if your only judgement of Trujillos is going to be their ready made food, you may be disappointed.

I love love love this Carniceria. Since I don't eat much red meat, I am extremely picky about the chicken that I BBQ. Every time we have large gatherings, I will preorder 20-30 pounds of the Pollo Preparada (Marinaded Chicken) and drive down to Madera to pick up. By the time I drive down there it is ready for my up arrival! Love that. Just last week 9/ I purchased 30lbs of marinaded chicken for my wife's birthday. Chicken was on point (of course, my grilling skills are superb). As usual each one of our guest could not get enough of the chicken and ask where I get this chicken from? I always refer fiends and family to take the extra time to drive to Madera. I have ordered other other meats from here and equally as good! This Mexican market has authentic Mexican products and beverages.

They have the Best Carne Asada preparada (prepared, marinated, carne Asada for grilling). The meat is Ranchera, it's so delicious with their salsa verde and guacamole. I live in Mendota, Ca and anytime my family is going to BBQ, we make the 40ish minute trip to Madera, Ca to Trujillo's Meat Market to buy some Ranchera Preparada. My family loves it!

Al pastor tacos best I have had in a long time. I'm visiting from San Jose and was looking for a place with great food and I found this spot! So glad I did

I was very disappointed with this restaurant the food was terrible, and the service was awful. They never change their gloves every time they touch a surface or clean something and they would work on my food. This was the second time I had a bad experience the last time was when I was served burned beans.

This was literally my favorite place to go to up until the time when they started to rip me off.... I literally only had 2 pounds of meat and paid over $30 I shouldn't have paid it but I didn't wanna argue with them because they wouldn't have understood me anyways. A lot of the people that work there speak Spanish and I don't sadly so I know from now on that I won't be going there to get my meat what a total rip off. It also happened to my husband when he went to go buy meat as well the price wasn't adding up.
