True Teriyaki

Love this place for lunch. They are fast and make the order how you want it. If I want less rice and more salad in my bowl they do it and I really appreciate it :)

The food was very good, and the place was very busy so that was a good indicator.The only issue I've had is that they couldn't add tofu to the vegetable stir fry, I had to order a full side of tofu separately. Usually restaurants add it without any problem, maybe for a small upcharge, but the end result is much better as the tofu is sautéed together with veggies. Besides that, we both liked the god and the extra teriyaki sauce they've added. It also came with Sriracha sauce pockets if you need more spice as the dishes are not spicy.You can find in but they will still serve you the food in a to go containers, so that is a bummer.Food came out quickly and it was hot and fresh.

Ordered the curry bowl and the carrots and potatoes is rock hard. Hardly any chicken in the bowl. Def not worth the 15 bucks with tax. Stick with the other items. Don't order the curry, it's bad.

I phoned in my order and the service on phone was a 10. Order was picked up and it was correct. Cashier greeted me and let me know where condiments and napkins were available. The Salmon & Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with salad and brown rice was the excellent the teriyaki on the side was ideal. Bothe chicken and salmon were cooked to perfection.

The restaurant itself is very clean. The food was delicious. If you like Teriyaki Don in Fresno then the food here is very similar. The teriyaki sauce is amazing as well. I always get chicken teriyaki and some sushi rolls when I go there. This restaurant is highly recommended especially in the Sanger area since there's no other Japanese restaurants within the city. Go support them if you like Japanese food.

Honestly, I'm so glad there's a teriyaki spot in Sanger now! It's a great place to get Japanese fast food and not drive to Clovis or Fresno for it! I got the crispy chicken, teriyaki chicken and steak chicken bowls and all were delicious! The price for bowls is at a great price point! Awesome service and ambience! The owners are Sanger locals which is great for the community! Highly recommend you won't be disappointed!

Had True Teriyaki while I was in town for the holidays. Damn was it good. We got the chicken and salmon plate, gyoza, and a shrimp tempura roll. All the food was fresh. The cut of the chicken was fantastic. Tempura roll was epic. They even threw in extra teriyaki sauce. so happy that this small business is thriving in Sanger. It was so good, I had it twice this week! I look forward to coming back again.

11/10/23 Getting lunch! You can call 10 minutes before they open to order to pick up by 11 if you want. A nice worker said so. Chicken & salmon chicken and chicken & beef combos ordered. Also, steamed tofu ordered. The worker was great and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later. It was ready on time. Greeted by many and paid for order. Very nice restaurant. Low key & calm. Safe, clean and practiced.I went to get the drinks after a kind worker was happy to give me a cup holder too. Filled up drinks and received many good day wishes leaving. Thank you! =) Lunchtime! My chicken and salmon combo was REALLY DELICIOUS! It came with fresh salad, tasty a egg roll & delicious pot stickers too! Great, delicious salmon & chicken with perfectly cooked white rice! Meat grilled perfectly! Really delicious steamed tofu too! Lots of leftovers! Mother said hers was great too! She felt the same as I did. Great service & Great lunch! Highly recommended!

The bowl was good, the one thing I didn't fw was the teriyaki sauce. It tasted like it had a lot of vinegar idk, like that bitter taste (idk if yk what I mean lolz). The service was good and the food was okay, I would prob go again‍ just cause it wasn't bad
