I absolutely love this spot. I recently moved to Fresno and have been craving fish tacos for awhile. That's when I stumbled upon this gem. While slightly expensive compared to prices I'm used to, the portions are filling and well made.In the past 3 months, I've been here 3 times. The fish is always well battered and fried to perfection. Not to mention, the sauce is incredible and really embodies everything a fish taco should be. Their shrimp tacos are also great. There's so much shrimp and they fry them just before the point of drying out. This is one of my favorite spots in Fresno and I've brought a couple of friends here who have equally enjoyed the tacos.

So we pulled up to TPK's Tacos but it says Robles on the outside. The address matched and it was a Mexican place so we went in. It was moderately busy and the staff is super friendly. My husband got the quesadilla (no photo of it though) and I got the Supreme Nachos with chicken. It was sooooo good!I'm from Seattle and the one thing I love about coming to California is that the Mexican food is authentic and amazing. Their guacamole was light and fluffy. The grilled chicken was moist and flavorful. All the ingredients are extremely fresh. The food is REALLY done well. Prices are super reasonable. I'll be back for sure.

As others have pointed out this is no longer TPK's but is now under new ownership so you will see Robles instead. Same location though in the shopping center on Shaw. I'm glad others pointed this out otherwise I may have not gone. I am SO GLAD i did. I am extremely difficult to please and I am also on the hunt for the perfect taco. This is it. I originally went in for a fish taco but they were out of fish. The owner/chef was expecting an order later in the day and said he only orders small quantities to keep them fresh. I knew right then that this was going to be quality food. So i ordered a couple of birria instead. They were HUGE and the meat melted in my mouth. Full of flavor and did not require a lot of adornment. The meat spoke for itself. I will be back to try many of the other items on the menu. The owners are flippin adorable and the salsa bar is worth a trip in itself. So fresh!!!! The place is immaculate and welcoming. This is my new " go to"Spot for authentic mexican food!!!

Yeah, first off, the sign on the building doesn't actually say TPK, it says Robles. So once you come to terms with that, you can proceed. We can from another location that left us disappointed. Robles is close to the house, so this was a convenience for us. We got the asada fries, nachos and kids chicken tenders. I had already had 2 tacod and the kids split some nachos that used to be way larger in the past, at the other location. Not here. I guess times changed. Anyways, the chicken tenders come first, and the serving is huge. This is an order from the kids menu, but it was easily large enough for an adult, with all the fries. Next came the other 2 dishes and a couple of plates for sharing. Since I was bordering on content when we left the last restaurant, I wasn't really that hungry, so I stole some nachos from my daughter. Not even a quarter of the serving and I was good. We took home the rest and she eventually had leftovers a day or so later. My youngest forgot his food at the restaurant, so that was a bummer. It really was a lot of food for a child. But my oldest took home enough asada fries to eat 2 more times. TWO MORE TIMES!! That's pretty impressive I think. The meat, adobada for the fries and nachos, we ok in my opinion, but nothing to write home about. What stood out to me, a few times during the visit, was the smell of cooking oil in the air. Olive if I had to guess, but that was new for me. I've never smelled the cooking oil, or even the food, for that matter, while I was waiting for my food. Mine you, I spoken 3 years on the other side of the counter, and never noticed the smell. Maybe I'm wiser in my old age lol. My son did say his food was really good, but he's like me. He will eat his food without complaint. Today, he did say he would rate his adobada fries as 8-9/10. That's pretty high praise. So yeah, he liked it more than I. He also ate them for lunch the next 2 days. Big portions. Since nachos are essentially the chip version of the fries, I felt the same about the nachos. My daughter did too. The kids chicken tenders and fries plate was absolutely huge for a child. I would have had a hard time finishing them, to be honest. My 7 year old didn't even eat a quarter of the plate. Unfortunately, when we left, he left his food behind. Too focused on the tablet, apparently. The salsa bar was a nice touch. I wish we had discovered Robles sooner. The prices and portions were great. It's too bad we will be moving soon. Then again, it's just right off the freeway

Have been wanting to try this place since it changed name. Should have tried the tacos, but I got the carne asada fries. The fries were the crinkle cut kind and were not great for street fries. The topping were pretty good though. My husband ordered a chicken taco, and the chicken meat looked really good! I wouldn't order the fries again, but I would definitely go back and try a few tacos. I am not sure if their air wasn't working that day, but the restaurant was really hot inside and not pleasant to sit in.

Saw the high reviews on Yelp and that they have Al Pastor. Finally giving it a try. I got two regular Al Pastor tacos and my wife tried the quesobarria taco. Both were good. Liked the fact that you can taste the pineapple. Also found out after I ordered the offer military discounts.

If you're looking for delicious fresh tacos, this the place to go in Clovis. I've tried other taco places like karlitas, Corona tacos, yarelis tacos, and the spot on willow and alluvial. This place beats them all. The service is always quick, the food is delicious, and the salsa bar has my favorite (pickled red onions.) I always order the al pastor and carnitas tacos. The carnitas is tender, juicy and not over cooked or over greasy like other spots. I also like to order the taco salad once in a while. Super delicious!! 10/10 would recommend

The tacos themselves are tasty, the meat is seasoned well and I like the spices on the grilled onions. The salsas are good but the rice and beans need some help.
