Todd's Hardwood Flooring

I was referred to Todd by a friend and let me tell you, worth every penny. We bought a home that had engineered hickory in a golden oak color. Gag. I love wood floors but wanted them updated. In the middle of the living room, there was a carpeted area. Todd removed the carpet, matched the wood, fixed some damaged areas, and even leveled out the cement subfloor so my wood floors would hopefully not crack again. My husband tried to convince me we didn't need to do floor right away before we moved in (as we did a massive remodel). Let me tell you, it is the thing we are most complemented on. I was able to tell Todd's son that we had dogs and kids, and we're in the country, and they gave us amazing options and finishes that would look best and hide(ish) dirt. These floor are amazing. I just sit and stare at them. I can't wait to hire them to come in and do a pattern on our game room floor.

My wife and I needed flooring installed in 3 rooms downstairs and wanted it to match the floors from our recent upstairs remodel. I made some calls using Yelp and was told that several companies were booked until August/September so went no further in the conversation.However when I called Todd's Flooring they were willing to come out and take a look. I set up an appointment for Friday at 10:00 am. Tim the estimator showed up at 9:50 am which impressed me. WELL that is were being impressed STOPPED! The job was approximately 900 sq ft which did not impress Tim at all and he made that clear to me. In addition there was an existing hardwood floor on 600 ft of the project that would require a tear-out that impressed him even less. I explained that I wanted the same floor as upstairs and I had already done the research and could get the needed square ft for the project from the original vendor. OHHH NO...said Tim the estimator for a project this size they would need to supply the flooring. I must have looked stupid to Tim but even I could read flooring installer code for "Up-charge". After a less than inspiring meeting with Tim he said he would get the estimate to me within 24 hours. 3 days passed and nothing then a phone call where Tim admitted to me that he had NO RECOLLECTION of our discussion and wanted me to refresh his memory. So I did remind him of our inspirational conversation and once again he promised me an estimate later that day. 2 days pass then I get a text from Tim saying he is having trouble emailing the estimate to me. I work with Tim on the emailing issue and a day later I get the estimate for ONLY 600 ft of the 900 ft PROJECT! I texted Tim and brought the error to his attention and waited..and waited ..and waited and to this day no response from Tim the estimator. Luckily a week after my first meeting with Tim the estimator I called a friend who is in commercial construction and lucky for me he knew a flooring installer that might be able to help me. Just to keep this down to a short novel the new guy "Jeff" came out on a Friday looked at the project understood what my wife and I wanted and said. "I just had a cancellation for next week I can start on Monday, it will be 3 day project, go get the flooring THAT YOU WANT, and here is your estimate." I looked at the estimate and it was a few dollars less than Tim the estimator quoted me for 600 ft. Needless to say I was in shock and it seemed to good to be true but at this point I said what the he#%. So they started on Monday as promised and finished on Wednesday at around 3 pm. Oh I also had them install 220 ft of 6 inch baseboard. There was also some old crown molding that needed a little caulking TLC and they did that too. My wife is thrilled with her new floors and I checked their work for over an hour last night and no issues noted it looks completely professional. The motto of this review is miracles are possible and if you choose to talk with Tim the estimator have a back-up plan ready to go!

We had been planning on having our home outfitted with wood floors for quite some time. Todd installed wood floors for a close friend of ours many years ago and came highly recommended. We called Todd's and from our first encounter, we couldn't have been happier. Everyone involved with the project was wonderful to work with! Todd is truly an artist and takes great pride in the quality of the work he produces. Todd and this team were always punctual, left the project clean at the end of the day and were always willing to answer any of our questions. We HIGHLY recommend Todd's Hardwood Flooring. Todd is the only person to use if you are going with hardwood. He was so great to work with and is truly a master craftsman. The quality of his work is second to none and his crew is awesome. I changed my plans a couple of times and Todd was always willing to hear me out. I had a combination of repair and refinishing of old 50 year old oak floors as well as installation in a couple of rooms. The floors all look brand new. I will always recommend Todd and crew for anything hardwood related. Thanks Todd, you and the guys killed it!

If you need your hardwood floors refinished, you want to hire Todd. Todd's Hardwood Flooring is a solid hardwood floor restoration company. My 68-year-old red oak floors look amazing! They filled old holes--caused by screws, phone landlines, and cables--so artfully that I forgot they were there and couldn't find them till I remembered where they were and stood directly over them. And this was without stain; I had them use clear poly only. They even created floor where there was no floor before! To top it off, the grain patterns and colors they brought out with satin water-based polyurethane--I had no idea it could look this good!Todd is respected in the business. One hardwood floor company sent me to Todd when my first guy backed out of the job. A second floor guy, who couldn't find room for me in his schedule so last minute, told me Todd's work is fantastic, and I have to agree.Todd is a tradesman you want to listen to. He told me on the phone, first thing, that the products I bought for the floor would look terrible and he explained why. I sent them back and listened to his recommendation. Todd's dad Tim does the estimates and schedules the jobs. Tim is also a straight arrow and knows his way around an old house. He answered all my questions about the condition of my floor. He was able to get his grandson Tyler on the job in under two weeks, though it's peak season, so that my summer schedule could stay on track. Tyler and his brother-in-law JT are just as direct and courteous as Tim and Todd. They listened to all of my questions with concern for my project, answered everything with specific but clear details, and offered their best suggestions for a good final product.I got really lucky finding Todd's Hardwood Flooring. Amazing job.

This is family owned business. They were wonderful! They did a excellent job in matching our hardwood floors with the existing floors. They were punctual, efficient and even completed it early! I would definitely use them again!!

I just had some new 2 1/4" natural red oak put in my family room and dining room to replace the disgusting aggregate floors that were there. I searched for bids and either they were ridiculous ($7,000. to do 400 sq. ft.), they didn't submit a bid or they never called me back. I was at my wits end then I saw a recommendation for Todd's on Next Door and gave them a call. Their bid was reasonable (including demo on the icky floor), their work incredible, and it is a family owned business with everyone from Tim the dad, and Todd's son, son-in-law, etc. They were great to work with and went out of their way to be accommodating. I was trying to match by existing 63 year old wood floors and they were able to do a smooth transition, its not exact but as the new floors wear a bit it should be hard to tell.Truly, I can't recommend them enough!!!

Lacks professionalism. Inquired about prices on the phone and was hung up on for asking questions. Called around and got questions answered and got a cheaper quote.
