Amazing doesn't begin to describe her professionalism and craft behind her skilled hands that sculpt my ratchet, shapeless caterpillars. I hope you realize that everybody is just trying to make a living their own way and just because they can't have the best salon and is trying to make it work doesn't take away from her craftsmanship. Naheed is simply amazing and always works with me on the time. I usually text her the day of and she makes the time for me. I show up, don't be shocked if her kids open the door for you. She might be with another person, but the wait is never long. She does work out of her house and there's a specific room for her work. It's always clean and she uses new thread for each person. Her scissors are fine there's nothing wrong with her sanitation and it's way better than nail salons and hole in the wall Chinese restaurants I've seen. She's quick and knows exactly how you want your brows. She's the only person that I trust to thread my brows and she knows the definition of keeping them nice and thick. She always double checks her work with you to ensure that they are even! I love her and just know that these reviews don't lie. She never asks for help reviews, but she definitely deserves the stars. Naheed works hard and she's so amazing. If you're in the area, go to her.

Drove past the house, then turned around to park across the street. Rang the doorbell, and I hear a pitter patter of feet and the door unlocks. "Come in!" a tiny voice squeaks. I open the door hesitantly. "Do you want to play puzzles? Do you have a husband?" asks an adorable 5 year old boy sprawled on the ground, a pile of puzzles pieces by his side. A 2 year old girl runs out & asks my name. I don't see an adult in sight. I question, "Is your mom here?" as I stand by the front door, feeling like maybe a news crew may suddenly materialize as I stand aghast, like a scene from "To Catch a Predator". I hear Naheed talking on the phone. She peeps her head out momentarily & disappears around the corner - not before motioning me to follow along. She gestures me to sit in a room with a chair. 12 minutes & $8 dollars later, I'm all done. She talked on the phone with her sister the entire time with the phone tucked under my headrest on speakerphone. As my eyes watered & I cursed to myself, "Mother bitch!" with the pain, I was slightly annoyed. Eh, I'm fine with it, now. But then again, I'm a medical student with some bushy Hermione Granger brows with a budget to keep. Anything looks better than my current situation.So, check out my photos. My boyfriend did say my right brow looks more arched and thinner than the left brow. Oh hell, now I'll be quizzical. Naheed is AMAZING at her craft - I went for brow/lip threading. She's quick and precise. She'll tell you where to place your fingers to keep your skin taut so she can BE quick and precise. I also think the harder you "hold" onto your skin, the less it hurts. She's also super sweet and trusting - you kinda have to be to invite clients into your own home I think.Also, since she works from her house, be ready to meet the rest of her family! Her two kids are SUPER cute! I was literally greeted by her kids on the street as I was parking. Her little daughter immediately told me "Mommy's with a client, but you can play with us!" She kept asking me to play Hide N Seek until her dad told her to stop. SO CUTE!Her house is a little difficult to find but it's the last house on your left when you're facing Elvira. They have a huge "tent" in the driveway and there's TONS of parking on the street. Me and another client were going up and down the street in our cars looking for the house. Note: since she works from her home, it seems common sense that it'd be cash only but I didn't think of that at the time either...The ONLY reason I took off one star was the lack of "structure" around the "appointment". I had ZERO idea what was happening when I got there and I was SO lost. I assumed I was at the right place because I was just following the other client who got there at the same time. I just walked into the house and sat down on the couch as Naheed's family was watching a movie.And since Naheed is so quick and she's literally seeing clients within 10-15 minutes apart, I'm not sure if she actually sets appointment times. I arrived at 7:30pm, which is the time I "scheduled" over text, but since I came in 3 steps behind the other lady, I had to wait in the living room. When she's ready, she'll come out to the living room and lead you into the first room on the right in the hallway, which is where all her stuff is set up. The door isn't locked so her kids may come in randomly - I didn't mind, but if you don't want other people walking into your appointment, this may not be the setup you're looking for.After I was done, she squirted a green aloe gel on my fingers to put on my face and walked me out. There was already another client sitting in the living room. All of it happened so fast. When I walked out of the house, I was still processing everything that had happened...

I went there for the first time yesterday and I am sooo happy with the results! Prior to going... I messed up my eyebrows by trying to pluck them myself ((BIG MISTAKE)) they were un-even and looked sloppy Naheed did such a good job and I highly recommend her. She was on time and knew what she was doing. I was a little taken back at first when my GPS lead me to a residential area, I thought I had the wrong address. But her house is really well kept and clean and she keeps it professional . She has a room set up to do the threading along with a professional chair. She is now my official person to go to when my brows are in need of a little TLC lol THANKS YELP(!!!)

I've been to at least 5 other threading places, and Naheed is definitely the most thorough threader out of all of them. She took the time to go over the sides where my hairline grows veeeery close to my eyebrows, and even after she handed me the mirror and I was good to go she took a closer look at me and had me lay down again so she could do some cleanup. It was also fairly painless most of the time - it hurt when she did the cupid's bow area (but that's not a technique issue - it just hurts threading there no matter what), and the area under my nose (again, unavoidable), but it was also because she was super thorough. she puts on aloe gel for you afterwards though, which helps a lot with any residue pain.Protip - make sure you don't put on any moisturizer before going to see Naheed. I did and it makes it harder for her to do her job. As other reviewers have stated, her kids are super cute! I was standing outside, uncertain if I should go in since it was my first time, and her daughter was like, "Come in!", then told me to sit down on the couch when I just stood there awkwardly inside haha. She was adorable! Her brother was also a cutie pie as well :)super sad I live in the South Bay, but if I ever get a chance to be in the area I will definitely swing by Naheed's to get my eyebrows cleaned up!

I recently moved to hayward and was looking for a good place for my eyebrows. I searched up "eyebrow waxing" and saw Threading Art on yelp. I noticed it was threading , instead of waxing. I was uncertain to get it threaded because my whole life I got it waxed. I decided to try it out. $5 eyebrows, what a great price! Then after I saw the other prices for other things, I was interested in the 20-25$ Brazilian wax too, which was also a great price too! All I can say is that Naheed is amazing. It was my first time threading and getting a Brazilian wax, and she did an amazing job. She's the type of person who cares for her clients and wants the best for her clients. I told her my concerns and wants and she did exactly what I wanted. I definitely recommend her and she's my go to person now in Hayward!! I'm so happy that I tried her out! Did I mention, she's so friendly and nice?!

I don't usually leave yelp reviews but I will today for my girl! I've been coming to Naheed for the past year (recommended by friends in the area) and she never lets me down. It is easy to make appointments through her via text message which is always convenient. The service that I usually go for is Brazilian waxing. What I love about her process is that she uses 4 methods... which is hard wax, soft wax, tweezing and lastly, threading for that "area." I feel like she takes her time to make sure every single hair is gone, unlike other waxing places I have been to. She charges $30 for Brazilian waxing but I always give her a $10 tip!

Ok this is not a salon. It's just a woman who do this in one of her bedrooms. My eyebrow doesn't look freshly threaded. I had a break out because of the cream she uses so it cost me more than I paid for..... Re Comment Thanks for the comment it very professional of you. I do not have a reason to lie or scam. Naheed is great! I've been going to her for a while now. She's really good at threading eyebrows and shaping them when other eyebrow technicians have messed them up. She provides eyebrow services in her home and has a room especially dedicated for her clients. There's very little pain. I have gone to other eyebrow ladies and have experienced far more pain even after a few days. Naheed is very gentle and super friendly overall. The only thing I don't like is that she only takes cash (because I never carry cash with me).

This morning I texted her, and she fitted me in her schedule, she is sweet lady. Today was the first I went to Naheed she is a fun, fast and professional. She knows her threading and waxing. She did my braizallian wax, side burns and underchin in 40 mins for $47. I am person that has coarse hair under my chin n my sides, her waxing n threading made me comfortable. She made my first braizallian wax xperience less painful. I will be coming to her. She is a person that knows how to make her clients comfortable and relax, through the waxing she talks to you so you are not comfortable.Thank you Naheed!!
