The Waffle Place

Newly remodeled fresh looking inside, service was fabulous, and the food was devious. This is a 5 star. This will be a good to place for my family.

2/08/25 Did you know they have açaí bowls? Apparently, I forgot since it has been a year! Awesome! Getting dinner! Ordered 2 for dinner on Yelp. Conveniences! Paid for it on Yelp and went to pick it up! They were crazy busy! Greeted upon entering by nice worker and then directed to the front where another worker greeted and was very welcoming. I let her know of order made on Yelp through DoorDash. She pulled it out of fridge, bagged it and wished a good day! GREAT! Dinner!Large bowls! 1/2 is plenty! Leftovers. My Nutella açaí bowl was DELICIOUS! Lots of flavor! Mother Really enjoyed hers too! Great service & GREAT Nutella açaí bowls! Highly recommended!

Starting off my birthday weekend, I wanted breakfast and chose to try The Waffle Place.There were several items on the menu that I want to try but this visit I decided to go with the "Spicy Chorizo Burrito".In short, it just had way too many ingredients, the potatoes, which I feel should not even be in the burrito took up 65% of the contents.I found the overall burrito flavorless, the spicy chorizo was not spicy, and in short supply.If there was cheese, I couldn't find it, the menu promised Jalapeño, I found a few tiny slivers, there was very little egg. I tried to get some flavor goin by drenching it in their house made salsa, but o didn't like the taste of that either.I ended up saving the meal by applying more Cholula hot sauce than needed, I can't really credit the restaurant for Cholula.I found this menu item to be entirely too dry, adding some sour cream, or cheese, or some sort of flavorful sauce while removing the potatoes that were just filler, and this could be good! I will return to try other menu items soon.

I was really excited to try this place out. I came to Fresno from NYC to visit my family and celebrate my nephew's birthday. My sister told me the Waffle Place was a good breakfast spot so we decided to go as a family. Five of us arrived and were told we would have to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The host took my name and my phone number claiming they would call me when our table was ready. One important observation we had was that there were several empty tables. As we waited, we watched the time tick by as well as numerous other customers being seated ahead of us, including those customers that arrived after us. The only time the host gave me an update was when I walked up to the door at the 11 minute mark. I didn't say anything, just made an appearance and they claimed it would only be a few more minutes. 30 minutes after we arrived we still had not been seated, not given any updates or any explanation as to why other people were seated ahead of us. That was out cue to leave so we did. It was clear we were not welcomed at the Waffle Place just by the actions of the staff. They had welcoming smiles on their faces but their actions stated otherwise. The next time I'm in Fresno, I'll be sure NOT to visit the Waffle Place.

Wow! This place is pretty amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. The place is busy but they turned over table very rapidly. The most impressive thing about The Waffle Place was the staff. They were incredibly nice, not only to us but everyone that walked through the door. I also enjoyed watching the servers walk by with so many delicious looking plates. I couldn't recommend this nice breakfast spot any more

Nice interior with a great patio. The service was good: we were seated quickly and the waitress did a fine job. We ordered the chilliquillas rojos and they were delicious. I liked how they added carne asada. The waffle sandwich was also very solid. I look forward to going back to try other dishes. The coffee was meh.

We had the Chile Verde omlette with a pancake on the side and the chicken and waffle. The omlette was smaller than expected (probably 2 eggs) but very good flavor. I would have liked more cheese, but that is just me.The chicken and waffle were quite expensive, but my wife only ate half and took the rest home. It was a 1/2 a chicken (4 pieces, bone in) and a large waffle that was cooked perfectly. It was weird that it didn't come with butter, so I shared my pancake butter with her.Inside was nice and clean and very cozy.Overall, this was a great experience, and Omar was a great server. It was a little more expensive than the other breakfast places we frequent, but the service and quality were excellent.

It's always difficult to find decent, homemade comfort food while traveling on the road for business. Luckily for those of you that travel to or live in Fresno, there is an outstanding family-owned and operated business serving up incredible options to satisfy your cravings. The Waffle Place is located in strip mall in a very quiet, residential part of Fresno. The glowing neon signs welcome you to this quaint little establishment where you will be warmly welcomed with friendly faces and laughter from an outstanding team. From the owner, the servers, the kitchen staff, The Waffle Place makes you feel immediately welcomed. Up early at 7am, I grabbed a comfortable booth seat and looked over the menu. Lots of fantastic options of standard breakfast fare, with the added bonuses of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options for most of the standard. An added bonus is the amazing fresh juice bar, lined up and ready to go with racks of fresh vegetables and fruits from local farmers and markets. My server (who was also the owner) was a wonderful man, full of energy, positivity and plenty of humor. I decided to go with the Daily Fitness Breakfast and a 24-oz Real Shot Fresh Juice. Daily Fitness Breakfast ($18.99) - Two protein pancakes (or waffle in my case), omelet with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers, avocado and two turkey sausages. Served with a side of fruit and fresh salsa. Real Shot (24 oz - $8.99) - Ginger, Kale, Carrots, Apples and Lemon Juice. The juice came out first. At 24-oz, served in a glass mason jar, this is a steal at $8.99. The freshness of ingredients and the amount you receive is outstanding. No other "juice" stand offers this quality and quantity for this price. It was extremely refreshing and tasty. The Daily Fitness Breakfast came out second. The waffle was incredible. The protein version is made with whey protein, organic flour, olive oil, vanilla bean and egg whites. Outstanding! I would have never known the difference. A light golden brown crisp on the outside, with a soft, yummy center. The omelet was also quite delicious. Light, fresh, full of flavor - good for the heart and the soul. The added homemade salsa was a perfect addition. The scene itself is cozy, warm and friendly. Plenty of parking on the street or in the retail mall space. The Waffle Place is one of those outside gems of Fresno that I would highly encourage everyone to try. Great food, Great service, Great prices. The holy trinity of an amazing dining experience.

Great food and with large portions. The breakfast burritos was filling and the coffee was on point. Wait staff were very friendly. We did not have to wait long to be served

The costumer service was perfect ! they started my day off better than I can ever ask for from a restaurant ! I will be coming back just based off their costumer service
