The Next Bar

I do not recommend the next bar because management cannot recognize a good hardworking honest worker that was recently terminated due to no fault of their own. What a shame to not have the brain power wasted on not valuing a diamond in the rough being a asset to an industry not worthy of supporting true character in a not real environment. Do not support this location or management for any type of profit.

Always a good time! Bartenders are awesome and very friendly. From karaoke to beers to pool tables! Would like to see more live music there. Met my girl at THE NEXT BAR and been ever since! Thank you! Glad to be a patron and keep up the good work!

I am new to the Fresno area and was looking for a good time. I was on my way to the doctor when I spotted this bar in a small strip mall parking lot. It looked like a place I wanted to check out. Dank would be the word to describe the joint. I am the type of guy that will order a Martini but would have to make it dirty. So, I stopped in there for my birthday to have a few drinks. Man o Man, was I in for a pleasant surprise. The bar looks like shit but the people and drinks are great. The bar tender Scott made a birthday shot that was killer and I tried this drink called the crack pipe. I was done SON! I had a great time.

This is a cool dive bar right off the freeway in Fresno. I stopped here on my to the hotel to watch the Warriors play the Cavs in the NBA Finals. For never being here before the service was great! They have HD TV and will put on whatever game you want. If I ever come back to Fresno again I'd stop bye =p

In just a few months that I have been going to The Next Bar, my experience at this bar was very pleasant due to one phenomenal bartender whohad been bartending for 5 years. You see I haven't been in bars for almost 20 years. I told myself these are not the kind of bars I would spend time in. But this one bartender had convinced me to come in and have a cold drink. I have been in many bars in my 30 years of Military Service, and I have beenretired for 20 years and do not trust bars in Fresno. However, I have trust in the one bartender who had welcomed me to these two bars where she hadworked and had been unjustly terminated. What a shame. The manager or owner of the two bars should be replaced, not the bartender. The bartender that had been let go, knows more about bartending than most of them ever know. I observed her, she is always tentative to all customers and made me and others feel welcome like you are part of her family. With her infectious smile and her willingness to make sure that all are served with the utmost care. She made it fun, enjoyable, and pleasing to be there. With her attention to detail and professionalism. she works very hard at doing her job. I now go where she bartends and will never step foot in these two bars again. ( Their loss, Her gain.) I advise you, folks, not to patronize both bars.

Went here yesterday with my homegirl it seems like a place mainly more for his Hispanics the bartender looks very judge mental and he seemed rude as fuck plus his breath smelled it it was horrible so we left.

If you're into "road side pubs" southern state style, this is the place for you. You can play pool, chill and have a beer. The music is whatever someone decides to play on the jukebox. Very laid back and not "clubby" at all. A majority of the people there seem to be regulars and know each other. Went here with some friends after being at another bar earlier that night and closing it out.....which this place is perfect for I think....hence the name, The Next Bar.
