Alicia is very sweet and does an amazing job. She is also great with kids! She has done 2 of my daughters' hair and they love going there.

I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was. Not only did Alicia do beautiful hair and makeup for my daughter and I, but she was so accommodating. She flexed her hours to come in super early, she was so patient and kind with my 6 year old, she allowed us to dress in the studio and even helped me carry stuff back out to my car. I never would have gotten my birdcage veil on right but with just a few pins she had it perfect. My time at The Mix Salon was a great start to my wedding day and I felt so beautiful once Alicia had me all put together. Highly recommend!

I'm really impressed with this cute little shop. The setting is perfect - clean, intimate, but not too cramped. I had the good fortune of having my hair done here by two different stylists and both women gave me amazing results!I had seen Kelli Gonzales regularly about 10 years ago at a previous salon. Last winter, I found out she had set up shop at The Mix and I started following her body of work on social media. She told me she was fully booked and wasn't taking new clients, but she put me on her cancellation list. I was thrilled when, due to a last minute cancellation last week, I was finally able to get on her schedule for a quick cut and style. I'll take it! Kelli reinvigorated my boring ol' hair with the lift and volume I needed and gave me just the look I was trying to achieve. I told her that I would be returning to The Mix in about a week for an appointment with Diane Makasian to take care of the longer process of coloring and Kelli took the time to discuss what tones would look best for my hair.Leading up to my appointment, Diane was very receptive to communicating via text message to discuss what look I was trying to achieve. Unlike Kelli, I didn't know Diane previously but I booked with her due to the fabulous word of mouth reviews I had heard. We traded pictures and dialogue and I felt very comfortable going in to see her for the first time and trusting her expertise. At the appointment, she took her time and explained her coloring technique to me and how it would look considering the old (store bought - a big no-no!) hair color remnants that were still on my hair. Also, I would be completely remiss if I didn't mention this woman gives an out-of-body experience scalp massage. I was practically levitating in the chair! Diane did an amazing coloring job on me, toning my hair with golden honey hues to give me a more youthful, without being washed out, look. It was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier!All in all I feel very fortunate to have had my hair done at this salon by two very talented, experienced ladies. Stop looking for other salons, this is it! If you can get in on their schedules, do not hesitate.

I've been to both Alicia and Dena. They worked their magic on my hair; each in different ways. Alicia-color and trim and Dena-perm and trim. Neither ever disappoints. The salon is conveniently located, as well as clean and nicely decorated. The environment is friendly and relaxing; yet, professional in all ways. All things considered, I would not hesitate to recommend the Mix Salon for any of your hair care needs. You won't be disappointed.

The first couple times I went to this salon they did the best work ever. I went to Whitney for trims and cuts, and the first two were wonderful. The last time I went I had the worst experience of my life. She flat ironed my hair before trimming layers, leaving extremely choppy and really short chunks randomly around my head. I got curtain bangs trimmed as well, and she didn't trim one of the sides at all and left it lop-sided. I had to do it myself once I noticed when I got home. I was SO unhappy, and I have looked terrible for weeks. Not to mention they were rude and talking to each other more than focusing on my haircut. I couldn't believe the terrible service, and I will never be going back.

Had my appointment with Jamie Rose and she completely exceeded my expectations. The salon is very clean and has a very chic atmosphere. Jamie is not only very knowledgeable about hair styling but she was so gentle and constantly checked in with me since I am quite tender headed. She worked diligently and carefully and was always so kind in educating me about the process of doing my hair. In the end I got a beautiful color for my hair, I highly recommend this salon!

I worked with Alicia and her team to coordinate hair and makeup services for 10 ladies for my client's wedding. Everyone looked beautiful and their hair and makeup stayed perfect through the night! Throughout the scheduling process Alicia was super responsive and answered all my questions, I would absolutely recommend her for your big day!
