The Meat Market

We decided to have the lunch sandwiches for our department holiday lunch and they were very accommodating; very easy to walk up and place the order (unless you are using their catering you have to order at the window, you can't call in the order), the young man at the front was very helpful and patient with our order of 11 sandwiches plus sides. And everything came out very quick!! Food was great; very full sandwiches which everyone was pleased with. I plan on taking my husband here because I think he will enjoy this place.

Tri tip is good. The chili beans are okay. Coleslaw and beans are both very expensive if bought as sides. Service is greatly missing. Needs a serious retraining session. Lots of places to spend my money to put up with the rudeness.

Food was lukewarm warm. Philly cheese meat looked like bologna. Zero flavor. Worse I've ever had. The tri-tip was equally unsatisfying. No flavor. Luke warm. Barely any meat on either sandwich. The potato salad tasted bad. I wouldn't even give any to my grandbaby. First time going. I would never go back. And customer service was garbage as well.

I was really impressed with the variety of meats and sausages offered here. Especially the marinated meat section; carne asada, pollo asada, yogurt chicken, marinated fish, garlic salmon, literally anything you need for a proper cook out this summer.They also have a huge selection of sausages, which is one of my favorites to cook on the grill. I was told they make most of the sausages in house with just a few sourced from local butchers. The one thing that really shocked me about this place is its an actual market. You can get pretty much anything you need here for your summertime cookout. Fresh veggies, marinades, spices, coolers full of beer, and even the grill itself. They sell it all!

Came to try for their "famous" tri-tip sandwich. It was ok. Can't comment on the market aspect of the place. Fries were pretty much as basic as you can get. Horseradish sauce was fine, not especially memorable, complex, or delicious but decently inoffensive. For the price, it's perfectly fine ... not sure I would ever go out of my way for it, but I'd come back for lunch if I was right next door and there was nowhere else I was looking to try.

Employees standing around ignoring the customers standing around and when you ask for help they are rude in their response to questions and the meat is not the quality it used to be. I will no longer shop here

The Meat Market has a good variety of cuts. I have only lived here for a few months and this place is my go-to shop. The seasonings are endless over there. Gluten-free/plant-based options are there. I am curious to try so many of the dressings too. The service is great. They welcome you to the counter and are knowledgeable about the cut and the seasonings they put on it. The sausages have been great so far. They are big and the price point is perfect. The cleanliness and vibe of the store have a nice flow to it.They also serve hot food as well! I had the tri-tip burrito. It's $10 and huge! The meat had a perfect bark to it and a smokey flavor. It has potatoes, beans, cheese, and some sauce. They give you a small cup of sauce on the side. I was impressed by the juiciness of the burrito in every bite. I would put some kind of hot sauce on it or a spicy green sauce. Overall, I am coming back for that burrito and trying other items on their menu.

Man the food at the take out spot has gone down hill . Got two cheesesteaks and they were semi warm cheese wasn't even melted. Felt bad that I bought lunch for a co worker and it was low quality and lame

1 star for the restaurant. The tri tip sandwich looks like hospital food. 1 star for the misleading fresh tri tip from the market. Though I was getting a good price but they were hiding a huge fat cap under the display side, at least a pound. At least label it as untrimmed.

The tri tip sandwich used to be off the chain years ago. Now it's as dry as the Central Valley. Please bring back the OG tri tip sandwich which had actual flavor and make the meat thicker. Embarrassing to have even paid more than $10 but oh well. Never again.
