Multiple girls have given money, and NOT received any dress to this day. What they have received is a truck load of lies, excuses, and run arounds. DO NOT trust this business to come through for you on your most important day. Ashlynn See is a bold face liar and fraud. Check their Facebook for confirmation on this. Multiple people who she had scammed are furious. As they should be.

Ashlynn See, store owner of both Ivy & Lace Bridal and The Ivy, is a scammer. I had placed an order from her in store on 1/17/22 after finding a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown in her shop. I had paid half of the total dress amount, and was told that I would receive a call in mid-to-late June. Never received call, only to find out her store was closed with no further information online. My mother & I were able to briefly chat via FB and she gave us the run around. We drove out to Hanford twice and she gave us a bogus excuse 20 minutes before our meetup time as to why she couldn't meet, and yesterday 8/10/22, she never showed up. I am distraught. I'm 2-months out from my wedding and have no dress and lost $841. The manufacturer of the gown confirmed that Ashlynn never placed an order for my dress. This woman has a criminal mind and should not be allowed to operate a business. She has a suspended business license, has already been sued by other clients, and is about to have additional charges pressed.

This review is in regards to their sister shop, The Ivy Lace Bridal. The experience of visiting Ivy Lace & Bridal and picking out my dress, was absolutely amazing. Merissa was my bridal stylist and I adored everything about that day. Thank you Merissa for an amazing experience!However, when it came to getting my actual dress, and everything after was a complete mess. I bought and ordered my dress in august of 2021. The latest I was told it would be delivered, was in January of 2022. In December, I called for an update and the girl I talked to said it was already shipped, and would be here in 2 weeks. Fast forward 3 weeks, I call and still have no update on my dress. All that was said was that it was still waiting to be shipped out (even though, I was previously told it had already been shipped.)I waited another 2-3 weeks before calling, this put me at the beginning of March (2 months AFTER my dress was supposed to be here.) The girl I spoke to said it was "still awaiting shipping." I was didn't take this for an answer, and they someone mysteriously had my dress shipped out the following Monday. I finally was called in for a dress fitting, and it went okay. I was very excited. What bothered me was when the owner was on the phone with a customer, she hung up and immediately trash talked about that customer, with the other employees and laughed about it. It was disturbing and made me uneasy. I scheduled a second fitting, but received a message from someone stating that I needed to get my dress ASAP. I was told that there was a lot of shadiness going on behind the scenes and not to trust them with the alterations on my dress. Thankfully my dress has not had many alterations and I was able to go grab it ASAP. I wouldn't recommend this place now that I have seen and heard of the behind the scenes.

For transparency this is in regards to the bridal shop that they own as well located across the street. Ivy and lace bridal is a business every bride should avoid! My bridesmaids and I went to this shop back in September 2021 thinking it was a great idea to support an up and coming business. I'm a huge supporter of small business. This was my first mistake. They stated the bridesmaid dresses and my gown would be here 1/22 this did not happen. My gown arrived 2/22 and I didn't receive the dress until 3/21/22 because she couldn't get me scheduled soon enough for "alterations". When I finally received my gown I realized they didn't bustle it, this was a disaster the day of the wedding because that's when I realized this. I'm more than sure they also didn't alter the length because I was tripping all over it the day of as well. The dress is gorgeous but I don't recommend this place at all. The bridesmaids dresses were my nightmare Ashlyn had finally "received" the bridesmaids dresses after weeks of giving us the run around about arrival dates. My 7 girls had appointments scheduled starting 3/20 to start alterations. Keep in mind my wedding is 4/9. She promises the seamstress would make it all work. However on 3/19 she calls and leaves a voicemail stating that the shop had had an "electrical fire" and it was closed down and had to cancel everyone's appointments. She gave me the run around about adjusters and insurance and whatever it was she could make up. She even said that she was having the manufacture overnight new dresses because she couldn't release the dresses. Another bold face lie. And nothing was ever easy to get out of her multiple calls and voicemails had to be made to get a response. Finally after a week of lies I had to cancel the orders and ask for a refund because essentially that' was my only choice. 2 weeks before my wedding all my girls had to order dresses off of Lulus and thankfully it worked out no thanks to this place. I had also made the mistake of booking my groom and groomsmen tuxedos with her as well and that was a mess as well. After the mess with the dresses. She said it was a "maybe" if the tuxedos would get to us by the Friday before the wedding. Again we found a solution but with mens warehouse. Also let it be noted my husband is still pending refund of 3 tuxedo rentals and the deposit on my daughters dress, over $900 and all she has given us is lies regarding square up and bank and refund times. Please stay away from this shop. I've had conversations with other local people who have nothing but negative things to say. Weddings are stressful enough don't let them make it worse.

I went here today with my mom visiting from out of town. She called me telling me how she wanted to go shopping here when I come down and we were both excited. Long story short, I had a dress in my hand and the lady working (assuming owner?) asked if I was going to try it on, I said no, she said okay I'll put it up here and took it from me. Didn't ask or anything, just took it from my hand. I understand preventing shoplifting, but grabbing something from a customer and not even asking, just stating you're going to take it, is beyond rude and unwelcoming. I can't think of a time I've never been asked first by an employee. Overall that was upsetting, which is really unfortunate because my mom had found a dress for a wedding we're going to and many other things. I also was ready to go on a shopping spree and was just beginning to look at the business clothes, which there were a ton and made me very excited because I work in a business only attire workplace. Bottom line, the employee was unpleasant enough to ruin the shopping trip and we left empty handed. Ask before taking something from someone.

The owner is so nice and has such a cute puppy! :) Such cute clothes and accessories, and they always have new stuff to check out. Reasonably priced too, better than some other local boutiques. Happy to see them in Hanford!
