The Fresno Rescue Mission Thrift Store and Cars

I come here to look at their other items and NOT THE CLOTHES. I will say the clothing is marked very high. The cashier told me they are new clothing or worn a couple times. Although some items are in good condition, you can get a better pricing at a yard sale or Salvation Army. I love to come and look at the other things. They have a book section and about 4-5 aisles of miscellaneous things.

They do sell cars. And tons of furniture in the front. Nice housewares section. Lots of clothes organized by color. No experience with service. Some values seem off like a Pink Floyd tote bag for nine bucks. Seems high.

The prices have gone up too high. They took the fun away from the hobby and they no longer have bargains. They have changed their concepts , they got the stuff for free folks.the service is still decent

This place used to be great! Up until they recently added "Better" sections. SO EXPENSIVE. Not as great anymore

let me just start off by saying DO NOT COME HERE!!!! (unless you want to pay close to or double what you would buying brand new clothes, buthis place is advertised as a thrift store. not only do they price their second hand clothes either above or at original retail price, most of it is stained or has holes. Selling a shirt for 15$ that was originally 8$ at Kohls is ridiculous and defeats the purpose of a thrift or second hand store.Another reason this place SUCKS! is how they treat their merchandise. Their records were outside in 115 degree heat in the sun. That is how your vinyls warp and become unsellable. Couldn't even touch them without burning hands. zero cares or regard. the service is nice, employees are very kind. the company/store itself is just horrible. whoever is allowing this pricing and allowing the quality of clothing being put on the floor needs to be FIREDDD!!!!

What happened to the prices? I used to love coming here but they raised the prices so much. I just went in again to see and wow! Over $10 for a lot of Mens shirts that aren't even name brand. Who is pricing these items? They have sales and half of days but it's still to much. $30+ for a blazer. It doesnt matter if the clothes look new they are going to have full racks if they keep going with these prices. Goodwill is usually a lot for some items, but it's cheap compared to this place. The positive is they have very nice employees there. I won't be going back. I would rather buy new at Marshall's.

I have been waiting for two weeks for them to pick up bedroom furniture they wanted. Last week the truck was too full. Today, one week later, I stayed home all day waiting. It's 5 o'clock now and they are not here. DO NOT DONATE because apparently they don't need anything. I am 66 years old and am now having to try and move it out myself. Isn't their Mission Statement to help people? Try any other agency.

I used to love shopping here but their prices are now laughably astronomical. I know this is a charity organization which feeds the hungry, but anyone can Google that the CEO of Fresno Rescue Mission makes 6 figures. Good for him, but it just makes me chuckle when it's a so-called Christian organization nickel and dime-ing regular folks who are budget-conscious and depend on thrift stores for affordability (but obviously not here, anymore). I've donated a ton here as well but honestly don't want to anymore - I'd rather donate to AmVets and support them instead. Yeshua would probably overturn the tables on this place if He saw the money chain and inner workings behind closed doors.

Prices are way too high !It used to have sensible prices.The parking lot is over loaded with things that should be for sale.

If a resale store had a hoarder for a manager- this would be the place. This operation needs to be investigated. There is so much garbage in here at embarrassing prices. How does this management team still have a job? The entire lot surrounding the building, is now piled high with people's heartfelt donations. It has to be a fire hazard. There has to be rodents and animals living in the piles. This is a travesty and a shame. I have called the foundation itself and no one does anything about it. Where are the city inspectors?!
