Poor service and unhygienic. There was an event at the Gallo Center at 7:30pm. So my friends chose this convenient location and great reviews. I grabbed a table early and was lucky since it filled up fast. There were four girls total in our group. We ordered two plates of nachos, a sampler, and fish and chips to go with alcoholic beverages. We were mindful to get our orders early before the huge group put theirs in. Our nachos and drinks came out within twenty minutes. But it was half an hour and our sampler and fish n chips didn't arrive. I flagged down the waitress to investigate. Turns out they served our sampler to the huge group. My fish n chips came out minutes later cold. Twenty minutes later our sampler came out. No apologies. It was almost 6:30pm and the waitress said the show was about to start at 7, and hinted we better leave soon. The show starts at 7:30...it was 6:15!Our bill includes a gratuity tax for four people! I heard it was because the show at the Gallo center justified it?! Makes no sense. We tried to complain to the manager at the bar. He made excuses that it was so busy and that our order got mixed with the large group next to us. Dude, just own it. Not the customer's fault his staff can't handle orders. We were inconvenienced with poor service and long wait times. He said he will give us his own meal discount to make up for it. Ok, so being you're across the street from a large venue, and you charge an automatic gratuity tip, means you know large groups come in. So you should know how to handle large influxes of people. Yet your staff is surprised and scrambling to fill orders. Makes no sense. Just apologize and comp the two dishes they screwed up on. Also, the waitresses had long hair flowing freely and fingernails several inches long. That's just unhygienic and gross. Health violation highly suspected.

Came here to say on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. Food was alright but the drinks were good and the bartender provided excellent service. Overall, it's a nice spot to enjoy a drink.

Came here on a Saturday night for a drink, after seeing a musical across the street at Gallo Center for the Arts. The decor reminded me of an old Irish bar-- shiny, lacquered wood, dark interior, older worn carpet. The staff was friendly, same for all the patrons. Inside it's a lively, loud place. We were lucky to find a seat at the bar, but additional tables are available up stairs. There's also seating out front. A special drink list sounded enticing, but we opted for the standby vodka/soda and a Redbull before getting back on the road to the Bay Area. We chose this for its proximity to the musical. It's also conveniently across the street from a paid parking lot I'd you can't find street parking.

Was about to have what looked like a delicious Moscow mule. Instead of lime I got a roach garnish. Guess he wanted some to!

This placed used to be great, even after the pandemic. It had been almost a year since I'd gone back there, probably like late 2023? I just didn't drink or go out as much this year, but I like to around the holidays. First off, this isn't really a criticism of the entire pub, but one specific server - he wears a beanie most of the time and has a dark beard. Every other server my friends and I have encountered have been nothing but sweet and friendly. Not this guy. It's like he has a chip on his shoulder every time I come in. Once there were three of us and I had to go to the bathroom. I tried the door on the right and it was locked, so I knocked and asked if anyone was in there. No response, so I assumed I needed a staff to unlock it for me. I went up to beanie dude and was like "Can you unlock the bathroom door for me?" He gave me this weird look and said someone was probably in there. I was like well, I knocked and got no response so... He then insisted like "Are you sure?" Dude I'm pretty sure I can tell when a bathroom is occupied or just plain locked. It was like he couldn't believe I was telling the truth. Ever since then he's been super rude to me and my friends when we go in, just really unprofessional and honestly unpleasant. Last night we stopped in just to get one drink each and I get it, it's super busy, we aren't trying to take up your time - we ordered the same thing and even then he made it seem like it was the BIGGEST inconvenience of his night. It makes me not even wanna go anymore which sucks because I love everything else about this place. Maybe he just needs to work on his people skills or whatever. Also, the pub has two bathrooms HOWEVER only one is actually marked with a bathroom sign. That's very weird, especially for a place that gets packed and then people are queuing for one single bathroom not knowing that the other one opposite it is also a bathroom. Having to ask about it seems pretty strange.

Don't let the outside scare you, this is a diamond in the ruff. I love the moody vibe and charming decor. This is a place you MUST come try. From the second my son and I walked in the door, the staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Although the upstairs is a little dated, it adds to the old world charm. The BLT is the best I have ever had. Bacon extra crispy (as it should be), fresh, crunchy lettuce and creamy avocado. My son had the house cheeseburger with bacon and onion strings and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. We both had the sweet potato fries, which were fantastic, crunchy on the outside and pillowie soft inside. Then there is the magic sauce. I can not even describe this golden goodness, except to say it's addictive. If you're unsure about what to order, as tour waitress. Ours was amazing and absolutely spot on with the cocktail. My son enjoyed it so much he even left her a sweet note.

Basura.I'm writing this for my fiancé. He was waiting in line for the restroom while we were waiting upstairs with our drinks. He called me letting me know he had been kicked out because an employee had to cut in line in front of multiple people bc "I work here and you won't get your drink as fast enough as you want to if you don't let me go".A crowd of people got kicked out bc they were waiting in line for a minute & this guy just decided to cut in front of everyone and they didn't agree with it bc he came off so entitled.When he came out & saw staff was listening he announced "I said I needed to clean the restrooms" as if that was the reason he was going in... Maybe have an employee bathroom? Maybe be courteous & ask if it's okay to use the restroom since he's apart of the kitchen/staff before a forever line of people? Not act so entitled?To add... the waitress came out before we left asking if we needed change the second I put cash down. I told her we were still counting the total out. We were going to pay even after everything that happened. Never coming back. The new service is gross.

the bartender has horrible customer service he is rude and disrespectful. heard him yelling at a people

Love the Fox pub, always a good time with some of our favorite bartenders and waitresses. Mike, Joe, Lexi, Elias and the rest of the staff. Yummy bar food and drinks. Mike sure keeps those Coronas cold and best salt rim ever!! always have a chill time.

Convienently located close to the Gallo Theater. They have decent food and the prices & service were fair. If you have a large group, you either sit in a banquet room off of the bar, or they sit you upstairs. The problem with that can be "out of sight, out of mind". However, if you want a quiet place, it is a good choice. I'm sure we'll go their again.
