The Crawfish Guy

The aroma when you walk in is to die for! I ordered food to go and waited about 15 mins which isn't bad . I tried to order ahead while driving there but they needed my card number before placing the order in which is understandable however I was driving and couldn't get my card out. So just FYI if ordering ahead you need to give them your card information. I ordered 1 pound shrimp , 1 pound mussels in allsome sauce medium spicy , 2 garlic noodles , 2 rice, add ons : sausages, corn and potatoes all of which came out to $75 The garlic noodles were the best I have ever had and honestly 1 order can serve like 2 or 3 people My suggestion is to order the shrimp whole !! I ordered them pre peeled because my husband hates peeling shrimp but it takes away from so much flavor The service was also fantastic , I'm only giving 4/5 stars because I thought the sauce could be more flavorful

First timer yesterday 1. restroom were filthy 2. food was over priced 3. food was flavor less 4. long wait to get seated and order took even though it was slow and they had 2 girls in the front working5. they close the kitchen down too early6. they charge you for everything EX: 1 potato is 99cents 1 piece of corn, 1 piece of sausage (the meat i understand but it should at least come with 2 potatoes 2 corns and if you want to add extra then have a charge)7. only good thing i can say were the garlic noodles were okay ( too oily )don't recommend this place at all

The men's bathroom looks like a room from the movie SAW. Very dim and tagging all over. I wonder if any of the male employees ever wiped after using the bathroom when going #2. The toilet paper dispenser is horrible. The super thin toilet paper rips after one pull and then you can't find where it starts again. It is so tight that the toilet paper roll doesn't even roll. Had to walk over to grab some paper towels. Foodwise, it was good. The flavor was good, the meat on the crawfish was nice and full. Service wise......wasnt much service.....they took our order and brought us our order and that's about it. They never came back to see how we were doing or if we needed anything else etc. We needed water refill when they came to our table, it was just to bring us our tab. They asked if we needed bibs, we said yes but they never brought it. Doesn't make any sense Just realized I had the same service 1 year ago, service hasn't changed one bit

This is one of my top three crawfish spots/seafood boils in Fresno. They have good sauce & I like their Tuesday $8.99 a lb crawfish deal. I always go with allsome sauce extra spicy. I feel like it can be a hit or miss cus lately I feel like my sauce be tasting a lil watered down. The season wasn't seasoning. Maybe since it was takeout and frozen crawfish? Idk but the last time I dined in, it was hittin. The sweet potato fries there are good. The oysters are a good size too. And the sauce at that time was actually spicy and seasoned well. Had the garlic noodles there and they was alright.. kinda too oily. My crawfish takeout comes with gloves, lemons, salt and pepper. Just missing some napkins lol. It can get messy!! Had some okay sizes for it to be frozen. Some crawdaddys and craw babies. I even had a pregnant one. IYKYK. So good!

We came on a Saturday for a late lunch . This restaurant gets packed so come earlier if you are coming for dinner. We wanted to try some of everything so we ordered king crab legs , whole shrimp, crawfish (medium spicy ) , oysters (raw), clams( extra spicy ) and the 10 piece of wings with wet lemon pepper sauce . The food takes awhile to come out, more than 15 minutes but it was worth it because the food was so tasty !!!! The crawfish tasted super fresh and didn't have any of that muddy taste that I don't like . The clams were huge !!! I was expecting the smaller clams but they served the larger clams here which were super meaty and delicious. The lemon pepper wings here were one of the most delicious wings I have ever tried , they add some of there own seasoning and it's so so good . They are generous with the sauce and I took some of the sauce home! This is one of my fave restaurants down here !

One of the best Cajun seafood boils In Fresno hands down. The sauce is bomb. Only thing I wish they had was combinations specials like how captain crab offers. Also it was kinda upsetting I couldn't just order a side of their sauce without purchasing at least a pound of seafood, because I wonder what if you were allergic to shellfish and you wanted the sauce but they don't allow you to buy it. It's not just this place but I guess all of the Cajun places charge that. Either way you still take my money so I just didn't quite understand it. It's a nice little spot, not big enough for a large large group but it's doable.

Garlic wasn't really cooked/was pretty raw & there was tons & tons of it. I absolutely LOOOOVE garlic, but this was way too much even for me. Same w/the garlic noodles, plus they were a bit too sweet.

Been coming here for years! One of the original spots for some amazing seafood boil in fresno! The service is always great and man the food is just always on top! Will be back for years to come!

I would consider my boyfriend & I regulars here. We used to come about once a week and since moving farther we come about every other week now. Regardless, we love it here! I own a restaurant and it's nice to see the staff is always working hard and very attentive! I'm happy to see that they're nominated for an award at the Restaurant Awards coming up! Their seafood is always a fresh. Food comes out very efficiently considering they're usually busy & that seafood takes time. They do a great job cleaning the dining room after every customer leaves. Their prices are very reasonable even with the inflation we are all dealing with! Overall, I'm happy to see them busy & thriving, they deserve it! I really hope they win that award!!

Service was pretty bad waited 30 min to get seated felt like they forgot about us. Had to remind them to seat us .
