Best Place to get Chicken in the Fresno Area. Service is AMAZING and super genuine. Welcoming feeling and the place is clean.

Really wanted to like this place. Chicken is super dry for the boneless wings, it's hard to chew. Chicken tenders are alsoHard to chew and a bit on the dry side. The side dishes were meh. Overall disappointed. Our first time trying it and wasn't a fan after spending $42 on this.

Good buffalo chicken fry's and bacon wrap thanks to the 3 Mexicans in the back yesterday

My Fiancé and I visited The Chicken Shack for the first time today. He got the Buffalo Chicken Fries and I got the Combo #3 which is 3 chicken fingers with fries. The place seemed promising with the good customer service and pretty fast wait time which is good. The interior of the restaurant was clean and spacious and seems like a great place to hang out and grab a quick meal. The food was just okay. The chicken was more of a soft breading rather than crispy and I usually prefer the latter. The fries were a bit too salty for my liking and the texture was a bit off as they felt like they had maybe been under a heat lamp for some time. I got the medium spice level sauce (it's basically just buffalo sauce) so the chicken by itself didn't have flavor. It's a bit disappointing because I'd hope for a chicken place to have good, well seasoned plain chicken tenders. The food just reminds me of some food you would probably find at the fair or a carnival. It's okay if you are in a crunch but I'd probably opt for other chicken places in Fresno. Overall it wasn't terrible but I think in comparison, it falls behind other chicken places. I hate to leave a non-positive review but I just want to provide some insight to others who may want to try this place out.

The staff was nice and helpful, but the food has gone down hill. Ordered 12 piece. Super dry. Chicken sandwiches lacked texture. Although there was a price increase, but 2 chicken sandwiches (one was a combo) and a 12 piece costing $40+ is steep. Won't be coming back for awhile.

Came in to have lunch with my grandma and little brother. Marina took my order and she wasn't friendly at all, not really personable or friendly. It felt more like a bother than her wanting to take my order..just didn't seem like she was happy to be at work. I probably won't be returning. Food was good,service was trash !!

I just finished eating here and the food was not good. We spent over $60.00 and the only food that was edible was my grilled wrap and the fries. The chicken was tough and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. My daughter took a bite of her chicken and could not swallow the piece. Very disappointed. We ended up taking the chicken home for our dogs. I hope they can eat it, we could not as it tasted like fish. Never coming here again. I hope you guys see this post before you waste your money. It is not worth it. I chose one star as I ate my grilled chicken wrap.

I had a bite of this food last week when I went to the Indian restaurant directly next-door to this restaurant and the chicken wrap was deliciousThe food I ordered at the other restaurant was disgusting but this food here at the chicken shack was really tasty. They have really good sauce to go on top of their items and if you're looking to spend less than $20 for a lunch, then you should come over here and try the chicken shack, cause it is delicious and the lady who works here at the front desk could not be a nicer person

The owner Pratima she needs to really learn how to speak to the workers, she is really rude. If something is going on behind the scenes us as customers should not know about it.The reason I know the owners name is because I had asked one of the employees. No employee should be treated disrespectfully in front of customers or behind the counter.The workers try and do the best that they can. The owner needs to take some classes on how to run a business and how to treat employees.

Me and my boyfriend went to go try chicken shack for the first time today little after 2:30ish but as i was sitting down my boyfriend came back with the receipt told me the owner was yelling at one of there employees really bad, i started to look and over hearing things that a employee shouldn't be talked to in that manner. I felt really bad for the employee because she looked very upset and embarrassed. Then when we got our food, it didn't taste good at all the chicken over cooked, my boyfriend chicken was really hard to eat. I left there every disappointed I will not be going back to that place.
