My tan came off even after waiting 8 hours to rinse off. It was a very disappointing moment since it was for a special occasion the next 2 days. Just won't come back.

Your shop has some really snobby employees. One time I came in to buy protein and was not even acknowledged/greeted, they just continued to chat it up with some guy sitting at the counter. Just now came by 30 mins before closing time and the door was locked. The female just shook her head at me. I simply tried asking what was going on for future reference if they had changed the operational times and she shouted at me "THE POWER IS OUT". Okay, jeez girl maybe that's why you work at a tanning salon/nutritional shop because your skills even in the simplest form of customer service SUCKS!!!! I'll drive down to Atwater from now on to get what I need and will inform EVERYONE not to waste time or money here. Get your employees in line Body-Shak.

Horrible customer service from the white girl w/ platinum blonde hair. I came in to order a protein shake & she comes out from the back a couple of minutes later. She very apathetically says "what did you want" as she's walking away into a closet located behind the counter. I politely said "oh I'll wait til you get right here to hear me" since she was literally walking away taking my order & also had air pods in. She then says very rudely and with a blank face "I can hear just fine". She was not wearing a mask so I was able to tell by her tone/demeanor that she might have been annoyed or having a bad day however that is not the customers fault/nor problem! When the owner is there he has great customer service but she came off really snobby and annoyed to be there. Def needs to work on her approach to her customers.

The Body Shak is awesome!!!!! I love it there always so welcoming tanning beds, everything super clean and tidy.

I've been tanning at the body shop for over 3 years now. The owners are awesome! Pete Sr and Pete his son are super nice and fun guys! I like this place cause it has lots of tanning beds plus it's clean! You can also get smoothies and shakes here too! They taste great! They have nutritional products to if you work out or take care of your body. I've purchase cute work out gear here too. Prices are awesome for tanning compared to California tanning or other places. So go check them out!!

Love this place. Their shakes are great. Used tanning beds and spray tan and have never been unsatisfied. Highly recommend over anywhere else in the Merced area

This is the best tanning salon in Merced plus it offers nutrition where you can buy your pre-workouts, proteins, and workout gear. They also make smoothies which are delicious... They are located next to in shape off of G street so if you need a pre-workout before the gym this is the spot you go too.

After reading all the 1 star reviews I realized some of these reviews were funny to read, since people now a days are so sensitive. Great shop been friends with the owners since I started going to the In-Shape next to it and time and the owners are so cool and chat every now and then.

I highly recommend their special spray tan. best one in town. The owner is so sweet. The workers are friendly and make me feel comfortable!

Sam and Divan are truly amazing! The smoothies...BOMB. They helped me choose a preworkout that was perfect for me and didn't make me feel like a crackhead. Every time I go in there I feel welcomed and the atmosphere is great. They are doing a fantastic job. Will definitely continue being a customer there. 10/10 would recommend.
