Tent City Canvas House

Needed to replace the material on four patio chairs. Reviewing U-tube video disclosed this DIY project would be too difficult and not cheap for the material. Researched buying new chairs and discovered the cost to be extremely expensive ($250-$400 per chair) Decided to check out Tent City. They did a beautiful job with a reasonable price, cheaper than the alternatives. Excellent job, highly recommend considering Tent City. Walter F

I was in need of a replacement for a canopy located in my backyard, when I was told by a trusted colleague of mine of a local business that I should look into. I was pleasantly surprised to learn of Tent City Canvas House, which has been in business for 50+ years, eagerly awaiting my patronage. As I entered the facility I was immediately assisted by the front desk assistant, a young, vibrant man by the name of Anthony, in a most engaging and caring way. After providing him with all the necessary information he had requested, he had supplied me with a more than reasonable quote. Without even so much as a sigh, he took it upon himself to take the matter up with his superior to see if the price could be lowered, which it inevitably was. Rest assured that when one seeks a service from Ten City that they will be taken care of, from start to finish, and beyond. Thank you.

These guys patched up my pontoon boat's Bimini cover because the zippers were shot. Not only was their work exceptional, but when there was a small problem, they fixed it, same day!! Great attitudes. Great work! They've redone the mooring cover, too. They came up with excellent solutions to make it fit better than the manufacturer's stock cover.

These guys were super good to work with. They're fair honest and timely. I had the pleasure of buying my canvas from Raj, he was super knowledgeable and professional I would highly recommend these guys. Thanks for the easy good service.

Bruce KHad tent City make a custom cover for my outside kitchen it was a big job. They came out twice to measure just to make sure everything was correct They did a Great job it fits like a glove. I would recommend them to anybody.

Terrible customer service, poor installation, and manager Raj is a bully. Stay away from this company! They don't want to come back to fix anything and will charge a ridiculous amount of money to do so. They take no responsibility for their work and if there is a problem it's your fault. The installers blame the managers and repeatedly say they are not trained well and there is a huge turn over of employees. Every worker that came had no idea what to do to solve any of the issues we had and said they couldn't fix anything until they talked to management. This scenario repeated over and over for months. Finally management said don't call us anymore. Now we have a very expensive awning that doesn't open properly, is falling off the roof, and a sensor doesn't work.

Update - the manager called and came out to the house to fix the issues we had with the install . They are coming next week to rework it and make it look correct . We had a long conversation and i am satisfied that they have heard and are addressing my concerns . .............this was previous review below So I have been holding off on writing a review in the hopes that things with my order of a patio awning would get better . Unfortunately it's has just gone from bad to worse . The service from this company was great until I paid the deposit and made an order , once your in the hook the customer service goes way down . I paid a 50% deposit ( which in Ca for services it's not to be more then 10% ) but it seems to be the way most companies run so I paid . I was told 6-8 wks at most for finished product to be done and installed . At 8 wks I heard nothing so on 9th week I called and asked , I was told it would be another couple weeks and someone would call . So I waited and waited , on the 13th week I called again , this time I was told " oh your scheduled for tomorrow " which was odd since I had not received any calls to schedule an install . I requested that the manager (Raj) call me back ASAP to clear this up . Never heard back from weds -Monday following week (week 15) . Tuesday I get a call that installer is on his way .., what ? I then refused because I had work and had no idea they were coming ( due to no Ahead schedule call ) and again asked that the manager call me back . Finally after I called daily for 4 days I finally reached the manager , he was nice and good at smoothing things over and we scheduled for install the following week . He said he would be coming with the crew . Install day went well as far as them showing up ( without the manager ) but the frame was built wrong and it sagged in the middle . Their solution was to put a rod right in the middle which looks wierd and now it says on outside ends . Also it is not angled correctly ( it's too flat ) and the spear style supports are too far back . I of course was not happy and requested the manger again and I refused to pay the remaining baksbce due until it us installed properly . I called the manger again that same day with no return call as of yet .... I plan on giving them a couple weeks to rectify this , if not I will hire someone else and will not pay the bal to tent city . Last a little context I am a very reasonable person as I work in the service industry as well and understand things happen , but this is beyond that thus is a lack of caring , I think because they are pretty much the only custom awning company in town . This was going on a historical register home so it is even more important that it is correct .

We needed our patio to be covered for our restaurant as the summer heat was approaching and gent city made it happen. They took the extra step to make sure we get our patio covered just in time for a party that was going to use the patio. I so pleased with the quality of work and service that we received
