I am surprised by the few reviews! If I was a local, I would consider shopping here for my Asian vegetable needs. If you're looking for super fresh produce that you will probably never see in Southern California or Northern California, this is the place. Majority of the produce is sold by the bunch and they mark it by the vendor or farmer. I didn't notice any price tags, but with the friendly help of a worker, he informed me it was $1 a bunch and the size of the bundle varies because of the multiple vendors that may also be selling that certain produce. You can probably get packaged goods elsewhere cheaper, but the produce you get is fresh and very affordable for SoCal/Northern California standards. Tip: If the produce isn't from the area then you probably won't notice it any fresher/more affordable (aka bananas, etc); hopefully this doesn't set an incredibly high expectation for you ;).Inside this store, this is a couple Hmong fashion shops and a deli as well.Happy grocery shopping!

With the growing numbers of Hmong markets springing up in Fresno, this market, also known as Khw Moos Loob, has become one of my places to shop for Asian food goods. There is butcher counter that provides a sizable selection of mostly pork cuts and fish but you can also find parts like chicken gizzards, pork brains and innards, seafood, and sometimes exotic meats such as alligator, turtle, or frogs. As it name states, the meats are fresh, (or fresher) than most places. ie. There are tanks full of a type of fish, turtles, and frogs, all live. This market also carries a pretty good selection of locally grown produce from from $1-$3/bunch or bag. It also carries a good selection of East to SE Asian food products as well as household products. I find the staff at this store a little more helpful the the costumers than other local Hmong markets, which is almost non-existent. They approach you first if you are looking a little lost. Or, if you do approach them first, they drop what they are doing to help you find what you are looking for. Inside the store, there are about three or four stalls of individual sellers of their own various products that are not part of the larger market. (Fashion, video, take-out, etc.) Because of this, the store is a little cramped and disorganized. I also found, on more than one occasion, that certain products are often out of stock. And for such a popular shopping place, they really should invest in better shopping carts, because the ones they have now, all six of them, look like they've been discarded by the homeless.Tip: Don't park under the big billboard sign even if the parking lot is full. The pigeons will have their fun if you do.

My friend gave me two whole salmons but I dont have the proper tools to clean and cut the fish. I asked Golden Apple in the Asian Villages if they can clean and cut my salmons for me I offered them $10 instead they wanted $20 instead. With the poor customer service and their greediness I called TC fresh meat market on Chestnut & Belmont. I spoke to Bee in the meat department and I explained my situation and he said "you can give us any amount of money just bring the fish by" I was very amazed by his response most people are greedy during these economic times but not TC Fresh meat market. People like Bee at TC Fresh meat market appreciate their customers and gives excellent customer service, I'll be supporting TC Fresh meat market often as I can. Golden Apple your customer service sucks and I wont be back spending my hard earn money.

Everyone, please be super CAUTIOUS of this TC meat market of overcharging. Usually when people caught the mistake ( a purposed mistake), people already went home, of course you don't want to drive back to get a few dollars return.1. On the items that they sometimes didn't put the price on an item, they will over charge you ..... if you notice they'll have a dictionary of reasons to tell you, but who would notice2. They PURPOSELY charged me MORE ITEMS than what I originally bought.... There're so many ways to milk customers and very hard to catch. It's the whole cart with so many items, and their receipt is POORLY listed of the items. If you happen to figure it out and call them, their explains are yeah bring your receive in and we'll ..... balal balal bla bla, but too much works for us to figure it out and drive back, they know that.Think about how many THOUSAND customers/per month. So please everyone speak up if you experience this from this TC market, thank you.

The store is poorly stocked and what they do have is either old or expired. Their shelves are empty and the products look overdue. I don't know how long their meats have been sitting there. Most of their greens are soft and wilted. If you want to grab something from the Boba Cafe, don't. The girls in Boba Cafe are some of the most dumbest workers I've ever met. I've gotten boba twice--the first time I got taro and it was way too sweet. The second time I got Thai tea and it didn't even taste like Thai tea! I also requested no boba but she put boba anyway. After I corrected her, she dumped the boba into a new cup without the pearls, dumped out the pearls, then poured the smoothie BACK into the OLD CUP. Then she spent a good minute wiping it down. Both times it took me over 5 minutes to get my boba.

This store and its associates are so unprofessional! I called to check if they had khao piak noodles the fresh one and the lady who answered said "let me check" came back two minutes later and said they have a whole bunch. I got there 10mins later and there were absolutely none! All the stores employees said they ran out and didnt have any from this morning ready! They need to re train their associates to check properly and accurately to avoid wasting customers time traveling to their store! Ridiculous! I knew I should have just went to Asia Supermarket but I thought bc this store is a bit closer I'll check thru phone first! Never coming back to this store again!
