Taqueria Las Plebes

Went here because Carnitas La Piedad Taqueria was packed! Usually I don't go to Jensen Ave. because it's far from my house. However, I was nearby at the time. Ordering was from the sidewalk as well as pick up. Menu was on both ends of the window, they aren't the same. Therefore take your time looking at each sides. Staff was kind and patience. Ordered three Quesabirria ($3.25 each) and it was good! Crispy tortilla dipped in au jus. Filling of beef was well portioned with lean and fats. It has a scent of smokiness and burnt edges. Cheese gave it a nice umami flavor as well as dice onion and cilantro to give the texture.Was it healthy, no! But was it delicious? Addictingly yes!So when Carnitas La Piedad Taqueria is too busy with their own crowd, come to Taqueria Las Plebes. You won't be left dissatisfied. I recommend this restaurant highly because I know I will come back to try other food on the menu.

Great Authentic food with good service. If you really want a Gr4at cooked meal , this is the place for it.

My fav spot. Love the shrimp quesadilla with extra cheese. Red salsa, extra. Rice is good. Hamburger and fries. Also tasty. Enjoy the large asada fries, no beans extra cheese sauce. Tripas extra crispy tacos with red salsa. All my favs, service is fast, order is always right. Quick walk up and order, out seating for quick enjoyment

This is a delicious, authentic, lil spot on the west side of Fresno.Outdoor seating, and a walk up window.Good portions at a great price!The shrimp ceviche was soooo good!!No fishy taste, spicy, and fresh. One of the best I've had. My husband had the 2 for $1.85 tacos and said he liked them. We will definitely return again next time we are back on this side of town! Next time I would love to try the menudo.

This place caught my eye the other day while passing through Calawa. Don't ask me why the locals pronounce it that way, but I find it hilarious! Anyways, the fact that the order window sits on the sidewalk was the deciding factor today. Otherwise, I would have tried the menudo at the place across the street. I didn't have a taste for anything, so just went with the usual tacos. I kept looking at the sope while I was about to pay, so threw one in there for good measure. The weather permitted, so I sat outside for possibly the last time until spring rolls around. Meanwhile, I got to people watch, write a Yelp review, take in the scenery. It's a pretty peaceful setting. Now, I can't speak on how it is at night, you know. You get the option of green or red salsa. I of course went green. It's spicy for me, but not ridiculous. Even the chili verde was spicy for me, so most people won't feel that way. The sope was perfect. And the horchata was the perfect finish. Good [email protected]

We ordered the taco birria & it was really good,Tacos de Asada were really good too, our favorite was the miche ceviche it was delicious, the tosti aguachiles were not too great with mostly over-cooked shrimp that was not cleaned, and a few raw shrimp.

Went here for lunch. Had the Quesa Birria combo. What a dish. Tasty meat, crunchy and flavorful taco shells, rice and beans combination were awesome and the Birria consomme was to eat everything twice. I could not eat mrñore anyway. For sure a poñlace to go back over and over again.

Best tacos in Fresno . Reputable service. Their adobada burrito is real good and spicy. Ask for a guacachile
